ʚ♡ɞ

When Beomgyu told Taehyun that he would make the next two weeks of his life the best days ever, he wasn't lying one bit.

But he did find it quite challenging.

After a long long time of relaxing, the five of them decided to head into town and see what the local stores had, which resulted in them visiting nearly half of the stores in the town in just four hours! However, they didn't really get much since the prices were EXPENSIVE AS FUCK.

Seriously, who would buy a keychain for twenty dollars?!

After that trip, they decided to split into small groups to explore different areas they wanted to see, so Beomgyu took this opportunity to bring Taehyun to a shop that he had seen while walking around town, it turns out that this specific shop had offered an hour long activity of painting!

Beomgyu being the best boyfriend he is, took Taehyun there, and if he was honest... seeing the male's face light up instantly when he discovered it was a shop dedicated to artwork was the highlight of his day.

Soon after that, the two of them headed to another area where it offered lessons on surfing, which was an activity Taehyun wanted to do with the group, so instead they stood there and watched multiple people fall off of their boards and be eaten by the waves.

It was fun in Taehyun's eyes, but for Beomgyu... he decided that maybe he won't be participating in that activity.

Shortly afterwards, the two of them decided to take a quick snack break at this local little shop that sold sweets, so being Beomgyu the gentleman he was had brought all of the sweets off of the menu and gave them to Taehyun who seemed a bit worried.

Was Beomgyu worried? Not one bit!

All of the sweets were delicious, but it was nearly impossible to finish them all, so they decided to pack it up and give it to the others once they were back at the beach house.

Beomgyu honestly wasn't sure if Taehyun was having fun, sure the male seemed happy wherever they went, but he just couldn't find the spark that he wanted both of them to feel.

It made him frustrated, this was supposed to be a fun vacation! How come he feels so overwhelmed... like things aren't going right?

"Are you okay?" Taehyun suddenly asked him, allowing him to break free from his exhausting overthinking. "You've been more quiet than usual, don't tell me you're already bored being here."

"I'm fine!" Beomgyu waved it off, reassuring the male. "I was just thinking about what else we can do, I feel like everywhere we went to hasn't been... the greatest."

"Why do you feel that way?" Taehyun snickered, looking down at the full bag of sweet treats he was carrying. "I think it's been fun so far, plus we've been here for at least five hours now, there's not much besides overpriced stores."

"So you think it hasn't been lame?"

"Not at all," Taehyun said honestly, which made Beomgyu's heart melt with excitement. "I think what made it better was being here with you."

Taehyun suddenly paused in his steps and looked over at Beomgyu, grabbing the male's wrist as he pulled him close. "This is an opportunity where we can run away from all of our problems, so don't stress yourself with whether I liked something or not, because when I'm with you... everything gets better."

Beomgyu would be a straight up fucking list if he said that what the younger had said didn't make his heart burst like an explosion. He could literally feel himself ready to puke out so many sappy words and just shower him in all of the love he deserves, but knowing Taehyun didn't like so much physical touch when others were watching he decided to save it for a later time.

He had suddenly felt a small vibration in his pocket, instantly fishing out his phone, he read the message Soobin had sent in the group chat then looked back at Taehyun who stared up at him curiously.

"Soobin hyung just texted me saying that they found a little scavenger hunt activity that we can do, wanna go try it out?"

Taehyun hummed for a few seconds before nodding his head. "It sounds fun I guess, if it means I get to beat Yeonjun's ass at it."

Beomgyu snickered at the thought of it, Yeonjun's face raging red as Taehyun taunted him holding up whatever prize they got for the scavenger hunt, it was an opportunity he didn't want to miss.

"So you want to win, right?"

"Of course I do."

Just hearing that made the flame of determination ignite brighter in Beomgyu's soul. As he smiled widely and nodded his head, the two of them took off to the location where they would meet the rest of the others.

He wasn't exactly sure what to expect but there was one thing he knew...

...That he was determined to make sure that they would win the scavenger hunt!

ʚ♡ɞ

So...

Beomgyu's plan to make him and Taehyun win the scavenger hunt didn't necessarily go as planned.

When all five of them met up, Soobin had decided on allowing them to pull out random names from a hat he had gotten from a gift shop, to make it fair since he didn't want a specific couple to have a bigger advantage.

Even though Beomgyu really wanted to decided against it, he had figured that maybe it would've been a good opportunity to have more fun, so after a long time of writing down names and deciding teams out of the hat... he was stuck with-

"I really don't get it!" Huening Kai groaned loudly, flipping the map upside down. "We've walked in this same spot at least ten times, where the fuck is the seashell?!"

"Maybe we passed by it a couple of times?" Soobin tilted his head in confusion, trying to lighten up the frustration that was spreading around the group.

The goal of this scavenger hunt they blindly signed up for was that each group had to find three seashells each that were hidden around the town, which seemed very easy, right? Beomgyu thought that too, until they were only given two maps of the location of two seashells, the third one being a complete mystery.

He had honestly thought that finding them would be a piece of cake, they all thought that. However, the maps were completely useless as they didn't bring them to the exact location of where the shell was at all! It was frustrating for all of them.

They don't even know what the prize was either for the group who had all their seashells first.

Beomgyu sighed tiredly and sat down on one of the benches and allowed the other two to do the theorizing and thinking, he was honestly quite sad that he wasn't in the same group as Taehyun and he was also sad he couldn't help the male defeat Yeonjun in this hunt.

When both Taehyun and Yeonjun pulled each other's names, the two of them couldn't help but stare at each other in disgust, but eventually without complaining (surprisingly) the two of them started off strong.

So right now, it was one to zero.

"Hey! Wait! I think I see it!"

Beomgyu's head perked up as he got off of the bench, walking over towards Huening Kai and Soobin who were both staring up at a huge ass tree that looked like it was nearly impossible to climb without injuring someone.

"Right there!" Huening Kai gasped in excitement, pointing at a branch. "I see it!"

Both Beomgyu and Soobin looked in the direction where he was pointing, and to their surprise, the male was right. Hanging just near the ledge of the branch, there was a purple seashell that they were supposed to find.

"How are we going to get it? It's nearly impossible to climb that tree without a ladder or support!" Soobin groaned softly, glancing over at Beomgyu who suddenly had an idea.

"I think you and Huening Kai should get it, you could give him a boost!"

"What?!" Huening Kai looked at him like he was insane. "I am not climbing up there! You know how much of a drop that would be?!"

"How else are we supposed to get it? I love Yeonjun, but I don't want him to win."

"I'm not going up there!"

After a few minutes of arguing, eventually Huening Kai gave in and had himself slowly hoisted up the branch with the help of Soobin and Beomgyu, allowing them to finally achieve their first seashell of the day!

The only problem was that Huening Kai refused to jump down the branch, and after a bit of negotiating, the male finally felt persuaded to get down.

"Alright, we'll catch you! So jump on three!"

Huening Kai stared down at the two who held their arms out, squeezing the shell to his chest and his eyes closed, the male waited for the countdown until he heard the signal to jump, so after a bit of hesitation the male screeched loudly and fell into the arms of Soobin who yelped loudly and stumbled backwards, dropping the both of them onto the hard ground.

"Soobin what the fuck! You said you would catch me!"

"You literally fell onto me and avoided Beomgyu!"

The male stood there and stared at the two bickering angrily with each other with an exhausted look, grabbing the seashell off of the ground he sighed softly and looked over at the town where Yeonjun and Taehyun were in, probably looking for their second seashell.

Hopefully it's easier for you, Tyun.

ʚ♡ɞ

"Seriously, out of everyone in our goddamn friend group I had to be partnered with you!"

"You should be honored," Taehyun examined the map closely, glancing up at where they were walking to. "Thanks to me, I found our first seashell. You've done nothing but complain."

"Anyone could've seen that stupid seashell sitting on a bench!" Yeonjun groaned loudly, crossing his arms as he looked around to spot any blue seashells around them.

The start of their little scavenger hunt wasn't exactly... the brightest. For the past twenty minutes, the two of them have been bickering or arguing nonstop about little dumb things that ticked off either one of them, but it wasn't enough to make them physically hurt each other.

"The map says it should be down the dock," Taehyun looked up as they walked towards the direction and ended up at a dock where there weren't many people, the sound of crashing waves hitting each other echoed loudly. "Where the fuck is it?"

The two of them spent a good five minutes looking around the dock, which should've been easy since there was nothing that could hide it properly, but they still struggled!

"Taehyun, over here!"

Taehyun looked behind his shoulder and walked over towards Yeonjun who seemed to be staring at something in the water, after getting a closer look, his eyes widened seeing their blue seashell that they needed bobbing up and down in the water.

"No fucking way." Yeonjun said in disbelief, looking around only to see no boats since this was a fishing dock. "How are we supposed to get that? I'm pretty sure it's in the deep end of the ocean."

Taehyun clicked his tongue and looked around for anything they could hop on and grab the seashell with, but after finding nothing to support them, he slowly looked over at Yeonjun who was grumbling about how idiotic this scavenger hunt was, glancing down at his pockets with his phone in it.

Slowly grabbing it out of his pocket, the male safely tucked it away. "Can you give me your headphones and wallet? Anything in your pockets."

"Huh?" Yeonjun looked at him weirdly. "Why the hell do you want my stuff?"

"Just do it."

Yeonjun sighed tiredly and did it either way, handing the male all of his belongings and watching him put it in his bag.

"Now what the hell- hey? Tae- AH!"

Splash!

ʚ♡ɞ

It had been an hour since the scavenger hunt had started and it was safe  to say that both groups had gotten their two seashells that they needed to find. Which leads up to the third seashell that they all need to find in order to win the scavenger hunt they so badly want to end.

The only issue was that there was only one seashell, which meant whoever took it would be the winner.

"There's no map, no hint, we just have to walk around town like idiots looking for a yellow seashell now." Huening Kai huffed exhaustedly, playing with the two seashells that they had found.

"After getting crushed by you falling off of a tree and watching Beomgyu get swarmed by a bunch of children who wanted to rip his hair out, I think this shouldn't be as bad." Soobin spoke up, glancing around to see if he had spotted anything.

Beomgyu breathed out all of his exhaustion, glancing down at his phone to see whether Taehyun would text him or not. He was surprised that an hour later he hasn't spammed him saying that he accidentally killed Yeonjun or something, maybe the two of them finally made up and are friendly with each other!

After a bit of walking around, the three of them finally spotted a yellow seashell inside one of the shops, which made all of them immediately light up in excitement! They were finally going to win-

"Is that Yeonjun and Taehyun?"

Beomgyu's head snapped backwards, his eyes widening seeing Taehyun and Yeonjun running towards them in a hurry. "Is hyung wet?-"

"Move out of the way asshat!" Yeonjun growled angrily, suddenly pushing Beomgyu to the side as he went inside of the store to grab the yellow seashell.

The male stumbled backwards into Huening Kai's arms and stared at Taehyun in shock, who didn't even bat an eye towards him. "What the-"

Yeonjun came out and cheered loudly, holding up the yellow seashell proudly. "We did it! We won this stupid ass scavenger hunt-"

Soobin swiftly grabbed the seashell from Yeonjun's hand and immediately made a run for it, shocking all four of them before Yeonjun's eyes ignited in flames.

"Choi Soobin you fucking bitch!" The elder screamed loudly, chasing after his boyfriend right away which caused the blonde to yelp in fear.

Beomgyu took Huening Kai's arms off of him and looked over at Taehyun who seemed a bit shocked at what had just happened, as if whatever plan they had, that part was definitely not in it.

"What was all of that for Taehyun?!" Huening Kai asked the question they were both thinking, staring at the male in disbelief. "Why did you two just run at us out of nowhere and why does Yeonjun smell like fish pee?!"

"We saw the yellow seashell first until we saw you guys, so we ran for it," Taehyun shrugged, fishing out two blue seashells out of his bag which still had Yeonjun's belongings in it. "I also pushed him into the water, one of our shells was in it."

It was a wonder how Yeonjun didn't kill Taehyun then and there.

Before any of them could speak up, a loud screech was made which made them look ahead, witnessing Soobin running towards them in full panic holding the seashell out.

"Beomgyu! Beom!" The male screamed, running into him and shoved the seashell into his chest before hiding behind Huening Kai. "Take it to the center! Hurry!"

Beomgyu's jaw dropped in offense before looking behind him, witnessing Taehyun's eyes shift down towards the seashells, as if his pupils had dilated like a cat, the male was definitely planning to steal it.

That's when Beomgyu made a run for it, immediately hearing Taehyun running behind him.

"Taehyun!" Beomgyu screeched in fear, glancing back as his eyes widened seeing how focused the male looked. "No! Hey! Let's talk about this! We can both win!"

"Just give me the seashell!"

Beomgyu loves Taehyun, like a lot! He would do almost anything for the younger when he would ask him, but this certain situation was one of those times where he would have to fight back the urge to give into the younger's request.

This was a very tough situation, but winning seemed better!

The male fanatically ran forward, avoiding any people passing by before swiftly turning a corner, finding himself getting further and further away from the younger who he had lost in the crowd seconds ago, maybe they'll actually win this!

We'll get our win Soobin and Hy-

Right before he could even finish his thought, the sudden feeling of his foot being caught on something startled him out of his thoughts, and before he knew it, he felt himself slowly falling in slow motion. As if the world around him had paused and only allowed him to move as his face slowly got closer and closer to the ground, until the very last second when time finally sped up, his face hit the ground, hard.

A loud groan left his lips as he laid on the ground in pain, the seashell tumbling out of his hand and onto the ground a few inches away from him, but all he could think about was the stinging pain on his forehead and cheek. It felt like someone had just grabbed a peeler and started to peel his skin off!

"Hyung?!" Taehyun called out for him worriedly, rushing over towards the male and pushed himself through the crowd. "Are you okay??"

Beomgyu felt himself being hoisted up the ground slowly by Taehyun who worriedly stared at him, glancing over towards the male, he saw how shocked his expression became. "On a scale from one to ten... how bad is it?"

"Just... a five...?"

"Holy shit Beomgyu what happened to your face?!" Yeonjun exclaimed loudly, his eyes widening after seeing the nasty scratch on the male's cheek and ugly bruise on his forehead.

Apparently it was more than five.

The seashell! Beomgyu's eyes widened, looking over to the side to see where he had dropped the seashell, after successfully spotting it just a couple of inches away, he sighed in relief knowing he didn't lose it.

"You idiot, why would you hurt yourself over a scavenger hunt." Taehyun scoffed, gently patting the scratch marks with a cloth he had.

That didn't really matter to Beomgyu, what really mattered was having fun and enjoying this idiotic scavenger hunt they paused for a millisecond. It wasn't until Huening Kai had pushed Yeonjun out of the way and snatched the seashell off of the ground, screaming bloody murder as he ran down the street towards where they had to return it in order to win.

All four of them blinked in shock, taken aback by what had just happened, but when Yeonjun finally took the time to process everything the male took off right behind Huening Kai, still trying to win the dumbass hunt.

"Seriously! It's just a seashell!" Soobin groaned loudly before taking off right behind Yeonjun, leaving the couple behind.

Both Beomgyu and Taehyun looked at each other, both staring at one another with a blank expression before the both of them broke out into a little fit of laughter, finding their friends idiotic.

"You're not going to run after them? Help Yeonjun win this stupid hunt?"

"Nope," Taehyun shrugged. "I don't really care about winning, what I really did care about was pushing him into the water, which worked well in my favor."

Beomgyu couldn't help but laugh at that thought, he wished he was there to witness all of that. "So you don't care if we win or not?"

"At first I did," Taehyun said, putting a bandaid on the male's cheek. "But right now, winning isn't my goal. Spending time with my friends makes me feel better than some stupid seashell."

"I thought you wanted to beat Yeonjun?"

"That was before I knew we would be in the same team," Taehyun said, sighing softly. "I have other opportunities to beat his sorry ass in."

Just hearing that warmed Beomgyu's heart a lot, knowing that the male was having fun regardless of what they were doing, he knew he shouldn't give up on making this the best two weeks ever for Taehyun knowing they still had more time.

It wasn't until they heard a loud shriek from amongst the crowd, their heads snapping in that direction as they both knew who made that shriek.

"Should we... go save him...?"

"Unless we want to return home with five people and not four, probably."

It didn't really matter who truly won the scavenger hunt or not, in the end, it came out to be Beomgyu's group who had finally won the long and dreadful event.

Their prize...? Was a fucking sand bucket.

Safe to say, they'll never be doing that again!

As they were walking back to the beach house, Beomgyu couldn't help but stare at Taehyun, his eyes admiring his smiling and laughing face when he had told the story to Huening Kai and Soobin about how he had successfully pushed Yeonjun into the water, and how a bunch of ladies by them covered their nose due to the sea smell.

Even though the scavenger hunt was fucking ass, there was one thing Beomgyu knew was worth it from it.

And that was seeing Taehyun's smiling face.

ʚ♡ɞ

For the next week, the five of them had a series of adventures varying from scuba diving to late night volleyball. All of the activities they wanted to do did come true with the help of each other, which made it all worthwhile.

For Beomgyu, his favorite part was when they were scuba diving and an octopus had stuck itself onto Yeonjun's scuba mask, which made the male panic and immediately throw it off, forgetting he needed it in order to breathe.

Another event that he had absolutely loved was when they had gone to a nearby carnival and went bungee jumping together. Soobin, who was usually confident in everything, was hesitant when jumping which resulted in him doing nearly a backflip and front flip at the same time, which was hilarious to watch.

There was also a time late at night where all of them were supposed to be asleep, it turned out to become a competition of who could stay up the latest, which turns out Taehyun could not stay up past midnight.

So, being the best friend group he had, the other four plotted a scheme to prank the male, which resulted in Beomgyu throwing a pie in the male's face by accident.

Safe to say, none of them made it out without being hit hard.

In just a blink of an eye, their two weeks at the beach house went by in a flash, all of their memories and activities that they made felt unreal.

Which resulted in their last and final day at the beach house, along with it being their last day of spring.

But on this final day, it meant that the long awaited activity Taehyun wanted to do finally arrived.

"Hurry up, Huening Kai! You'll drop the marshmallows!"

"Whose idea was it to buy ten bags of extra large marshmallows?!" Huening Kai cried out, wobbling down the sandy stairs before tripping over his foot, resulting in him dropping the bags of marshmallows and face planting into the sand.

Soobin laughed loudly and ran over towards the male to help him up, leaving behind the other three to judge them.

"I can't believe today is our last day," Beomgyu sighed sadly, looking over at the setting sun, the beautiful golden hues gleaming down on the ocean, creating a glittery surface. "I want to stay here forever."

"I'm ready to leave," Yeonjun scoffed, throwing some wood into the bonfire they had started up. "Who knows what other crazy plans you guys have, seriously... throwing me into the ocean was a good idea?!"

"You were knocked out, hyung." Soobin snickered, overhearing what the male had said when he and Huening Kai came back. "It was a perfect opportunity we didn't want to miss."

Yeonjun grumbled loudly and rolled his eyes, snatching the bag of marshmallows from Huening Kai as Soobin planted a loving kiss on the male's head, causing him to blush heavily.

Taehyun took the opportunity and scooted closer to Beomgyu, sitting next to the male on the sand as he leaned his head onto his shoulder.

Beomgyu glanced down at his lover and smiled softly, intertwining their hands as they watched Soobin and Yeonjun bicker whether a marshmallow should be burnt or golden brown.

"What time do the fireworks start?" Beomgyu asked Taehyun, wanting to start up a conversation.

"Should be around midnight, since it'll be night time and the sky will be clear."

"Mm," Beomgyu hummed, nodding in satisfaction, there should be at least three more hours before midnight so that left them with more time to kill. "Are you excited?"

"More than excited, the past two weeks have been so much fun."

That made Beomgyu's heart throb in an overwhelming feeling of excitement, he felt so happy knowing that his boyfriend had so much fun. He would also say he felt the same.

It was like an escape from reality.

Being in a place where he and his friends can live their youth to the fullest, it was nothing he wanted more. Just having fun, not worrying about anything, it all made his heart race.

But being there with Taehyun made it all worth it.

After months of constant ups and downs, situations that they both couldn't face alone, things that got out of control... it all felt unreal knowing that it led up to this moment.

He couldn't help but laugh, that months ago his old self would have probably never come this far. He would probably be stuck in his house studying his life away for a college he didn't need to study for, but instead, here he was having fun knowing that Taehyun had saved him from that miserable life.

He still can't believe that just because of one act, it led to this.

"Hey you two lovebirds!" Yeonjun called out for them, causing Beomgyu to come back to reality. "Are you guys going to get your s'mores or what?"

"Coming!" Beomgyu gently let go of Taehyun and stood up, looking behind him as he extended a hand out and lifted him up.

In just like that, hours of endless stories and conversations were made to pass the time, which finally led up to the huge moment they all were waiting for.

The sun had finally set, allowing the white glow of the moon to shine down on the ocean, causing the soft ripples of the water to glitter in that white sparkling hue.

"Over here is a good spot!" Huening Kai called out excitedly, running over towards it to get the best view.

"Huening Kai! Wait!"

As the others chased behind him excitedly, it left both Yeonjun and Beomgyu behind to walk at their own pace, which gave them a good opportunity to talk.

"I see you and Kang can't get enough of each other." Yeonjun teased the male, causing Beomgyu's face to flush red. "You two have been clingy like koalas."

"Look at you and Soobin!" Beomgyu spoke up, trying to defend himself. "You two are so cheesy."

"That's all Soobin, not me."

"You enjoy it though, don't lie."

Yeonjun knew Beomgyu was right, which was why he decided on staying silent and not saying anything to counter it or else he'll embarrass himself.

Looking over at the others, his eyes softened seeing how happy Soobin was with the others, knowing his heart was a mess for the blonde.

"Have you ever thought about what... now would it be like if I had never told Seong-jin I liked Soobin? If you had never found out...?"

Beomgyu was a bit surprised when he had asked that question out of the blue, but it did have him thinking. Looking over towards where Taehyun was, he couldn't help but have his heart slightly hurt knowing that there was a possibility that the two of them would've never been together.

"Life would've probably been miserable," Beomgyu said softly, chuckling in between his words. "I mean, we're both happy, aren't we? So it's probably a good thing that... that entire mess changed the course of our lives."

"Plus, Seong-jin and Soobin aren't dating, so that's even better!"

Yeonjun groaned loudly hearing that, just the thought of that even happening sent chills down his spine. "Thank god they're not! Not like that bitch had a chance anyway."

The two of them burst out in a fit of laughter, the elder gently hitting the male's head in a teasing manner. "Even though what you did was messy as fuck, I'm glad you and Taehyun are dating..."

"You two are made for each other."

Hearing that made Beomgyu's stomach flutter up with butterflies, the large smile on his face not faltering one bit. "Thank you, hyung."

"You and Soobin are perfect for each other too."

Yeonjun smiled warmly and nodded his head, the two of them walking over to the group in a hurry when they heard Huening Kai call over for them to talk faster. Once they were all seated together, Taehyun had checked his phone and saw that there were five minutes left until the fireworks went off.

Beomgyu and Taehyun huddled up close to one another, giving them a respectfully good space between them and the others.

"You know..." Taehyun spoke softly, loud enough for only Beomgyu to hear since the other three were chatting away about something dumb. "Our love story is pretty crazy."

"Really?" Beomgyu snickered, knowing what he meant.

"Of course, I mean... it's not everyday someone pretends to date someone just so their best friend can date the person they both like." Taehyun said, shrugging as Beomgyu flushed up in embarrassment.

"I mean... it kinda worked well right?" Beomgyu scratched the back of his head. "Not in the way I planned but you know!"

Taehyun looked up at the male and smiled softly, gently tucking a few strands of hair behind his ear so he could get a better glance at his face. "I never thought I would fall in love with someone who I said was my fake boyfriend."

"Let alone falling in love with the most "perfect" boy in the school." Taehyun teased him, which made Beomgyu scoff when he heard the word perfect.

"Imperfect now," Beomgyu gently grabbed his hand, bringing it to his lips and pressed a gentle kiss onto it. "Thanks to you."

Taehyun's ears began to flush a dark shade of red, his startled expression slowly shifting into a smiley one filled with nothing but love and admiration for the one in front of him.

"Although our love story is somewhat a disaster, something that nobody expected," Beomgyu spoke up, smiling widely. "There's nobody in the world that could steal my heart like you did, my love."

Right before Taehyun could say anything else, the sudden high pitched sound echoed throughout the sky, and within a blink of an eye both of their faces began to illuminate a shade of red, causing them both to look up at the sky in shock.

As soon as the clock struck midnight, the sky came alive with a symphony of fireworks. Soaring high into the once dull night sky, painting it with a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes with their vibrant colors. Each of them bursting like a mini explosion of joy, filling the dark sky with magical glittery bright colors as each of it twinkled like a star, fading away as the next exploded.

"Oh my gosh!" Huening Kai squealed loudly, standing up to get a better view which made the others stand up.

As they all admired the fireworks above them, Beomgyu couldn't help but glance over at Taehyun, his eyes softening seeing how gentle the male looked underneath the tsunami of soft colors that kissed his face perfectly.

Without a second thought, he wrapped his hand around the male's wrist and pulled him closer, causing Taehyun to glance up at him with curiosity.

Staring at the male for a few seconds, he couldn't help but have his heart burst into a thousand flames as he leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against the others, his body instantly melting feeling his lips tingle with love.

It took Taehyun about five seconds to process what was happening, but when he felt the elder squeeze his hand gently, the male snapped back into reality and closed his eyes, placing his free hand onto the male's cheek as he kissed back, the pressure causing a spark of pleasure to run down their bodies.

As the fireworks went off in the background, it was like the world around them became a blur, the two of them holding onto each other tightly as their lips danced against one another, wanting to savor the warmth as their stomachs tingled with joy.

It wasn't until the two of them began to finally feel out of breath, forcing them to pull apart and gently place their foreheads against one another, smiling warmly at each other.

A loud cough was made in the background, causing them to look over at Soobin, Yeonjun, and Huening Kai who awkwardly stared at them.

"At this point, just get a room."

Both Beomgyu and Taehyun smiled embarrassingly, looking away and back up at the fireworks. For Beomgyu, he didn't regret it one bit.

He had never felt so happy before, his world used to only be set on making sure everything was perfect, that his mother was proud, but ever since he met Taehyun he knew that his life didn't have to be perfect for him to be happy... that it didn't have to be perfect to make anyone happy.

Closing his eyes gently, he breathed in the salty air and looked over at Taehyun who looked over at him.

"Are you sad that spring is ending? I know it's your favorite season." Taehyun asked him, a smile growing on his lips as he did.

"I mean... it has been a rollercoaster," Beomgyu said, thinking back to everything that had happened. "It's been good, bad, miserable."

"But there's no one else I'd rather spend the end of spring with than you."

Taehyun bit on the bottom of his lip to hold back his smile, looking away, he leaned his head onto the males shoulders as their friends came closer to them, talking about how cool the fireworks were.

Beomgyu knew that he didn't have anything to worry about now, his miserable life changed for the better.

Because right now, he knew he wouldn't be here without Taehyun.

"I love you, Beomgyu."

The male glanced down at the younger, leaning forward and placing a kiss onto his lips one more time, never getting tired of how it made his stomach tingle so much.

"I love you more, my love."

Beomgyu knew at that moment that he would forever be grateful for spurting out that he had liked Taehyun in the cafeteria, even though it was a whole disaster trying to make everything work, it was something that he will forever be grateful for.

Meeting the love of his life, making sure his best friends were happy.

It was a disaster, something that none of them expected, but...

It was a love disaster that he would forever be grateful for, knowing they were finally happy.
