And worse, Aru aleady kinda knew someone there. But even worse, she coldn't remember his name. And even worse, worse, she didn't know what he looked like. Her mom had told her something about being friends with him.

'Was it Adrian? Or Alan? Andrew?'

"Hello everybody, my name is Mrs. Adams, I will be your 1st grade teacher. Please introduce our new student, Aiden, Aiden go sit by Aru" Our new teacher said

"Hi!" Aiden said in a happy voice

"Hi," Aru said trying to hide in her hair

"Do you wanna hang out later today? I think my mom's picking us up together" The boy replied

"Sure" Aru said, admiring the floor

"Hey! Shah!" Said a familliar voice

"Sup Aiden" Aru said happily, as the butterflies in her stomach increased

"Wanna hang out later? My mom said your coming over! Are you?" The boy said excited

"Yeah! I'll be there!" Aru said, catching the feeling of his excitement

"Homework together?" Aiden said

"Definitely" Aru replied

"Hey you dropped this." Aiden said, giving her the pen she dropped

"Thanks," Aru said before realsing who it was. Aiden. Her so-called Best friend who hasn't talked to her in a year. Even when the rode to school and back together they didn't share a word. No matter how much Aru tried, she would get a rejected response from him. "Hey! Wait up! Stop!" Aru said as she chased him. Aiden, realising it was her, ran. As fast as he could.

"Go away Shah! I don't like you! We're not friends!"

"What do you mean! I should be the one mad! You havn't talked to me in a year!"

"Just go! I don't want to see you!"

"But-" Aru started as he left in one of the many classrooms. What did she do?

"Aru?" Said a voice. It was a girl. It was Mini.

"Mini. He's gone. I don't know what happened- He just left." Aru said, on the verge of tears. 2 years of friendship. Down. The. Drain

"Come here Aru. Lets go home ok? I'll ask my mom to pick you up."
