"No, it's not!," Tiana shouts firmly. I shush her right away. Oh God! Busted...

"Um.. hey, uh... Jason. Didn't know you were up... right there! Whatcha doing here on the... football field?," I ramble randomly. Yeah great, cause that's the perfect question to inquire a football player about! Tiana shushes me almost immediately by placing her green-blotched palm over my mouth.

"Um...We're getting to know the ants down here. Ya know. Pretty nice talkative creatures if you ask me!," Tiana says the world's lamest excuse ever and I mentally slap myself. I let out a long agonized humiliated moan and she takes her hand off my mouth, placing it timidly once again to her sides.

"Um... r-really?," Jason asks from afar and I push my body forwards in a fetal sitting position using my arms, and raise up my eyes to meet Jason's not too far weirded out ones.

"No! I was looking for Tiana! Found her in here! Gosh, you worried me, Tiana! Where were you all along?!," I fake cry out loudly, gesturing with my hands all over the place.

"Acting classes my ass!," she mouthes at me, but plays along, "Yeah! Yeah, yeah, you found me. I was here all along. Hehe. Gotcha ya, you silly nugget! Hide and seek is so fun, right? I wonder why we didn't do this earlier, right?!"

Just when I thought it was the worst it could get, Tiana doesn't fail to somehow make it officially a public humiliation:
"Wanna play with us?," she asks Jason sweetly in much questionable confidence.

Gosh, I'm half attempted to stick some of the grass into her mouth to shut her up.

"Nah, I'm fine. Can I help you with anything though?," he asks awkwardly, comes in closer and offers me his hand. I accept it blushing and stand up with the most grace I can muster- which is close to none.

"I think... I think we should go! I left my baby tiger at home and he's phobic of red strawberries, so I better get going, or else the green watermelons will get him!," I stutter, all while twirling a loose strand of my ponytail around my finger. I need to work on my excuses. They seem to get weirder and weirder every damned single time!

"Well, I'd be doomed it I let the hottest babe I've laid my eyes upon leave before getting her number!," he winks at me and gives me a huge perfect grin.

Wow, guess my plan did work after all. I'm seriously so good at putting strategies nowadays. I whip out my phone with shaking fingers and we quickly exchange numbers. I think... I think a human-being, and a guy none the less, just asked me out!

Wow. Miracles do happen.

"Hey, so I think you're really beautiful. You have a unique kind of beauty, not like most girls. And you have the most amazing personality ever. I really like you, Lillian. Like really. Maybe you'd consider dating me? I'm throwing a party at mine's this Friday. You'll be the star of the party and my honor guest. It would honor me to show you off as my girl. And I would love for you to come, with your, uh, friend, of course." He looks down at Tiana wearily.

"Um... wow! I mean, sure! Thanks. C'ya around soon then!," I chirp out in bliss with my excited high-voice, resembling Minnie Mouse's one, my mind flowing over cloud love.

We part ways and I feel his heated gaze on me all the way until we're out of his sight. I think by the way I'm glazing into nothingness I'm still shookth.

"I can't believe I just witnessed the world's new wonder before my very eyes! The first guy asking you out!," Tiana nearly jumps up and down in excitement, "What do you think Aiden will think of this? Oh he better get you ready for this Friday! We need you to have the glow up of the century!"

"About that... I wasn't planning on telling him about Jason in the first place. Let's just not, okay? I would like to avoid pissing Aiden off!"

"Holly Chicken Sticks. You're gonna lie again? Didn't we just establish a set of three rules? Just three! Yet here you are fully intending to break one of them already! Are you in your right mind to lie to the school's bad boy not once, but twice! Does your brain has a restart button because we might be needing it soon!"

"He doesn't approve of Jason, therefore he won't be willing to help anyway! Didn't you witness how angry he was when Jason asked for my number? He's gonna be so mad if he finds out! And technically it's not really lying. It's just leaving a bit of truth out!"

"Like that makes it any better, smart-ass!"

"Look, I don't even know for sure if we're hitting that party up. I mean, Jason is yet to text me first. Maybe he'll forget all about me anyway and we won't have to go to that party after all!" I murmur, fidgeting my hands, a bit of my insecurity kicking in, when a ping reaches my hearing. A huge smile finds its way onto my face.

"Just look at me. I look green! Why do all your plans always include laying on some kind of a green surface! I don't necessarily like looking like I'm turning into the Green Hulk every time we do a mission!," Tiana reprimands me with a sharp hiss, rubbing her green nose the very next day.

"Well, at least our plans pay off at the end! I've been texting Jason non-stop since yesterday. Gosh he's so charming. Except for the fact that he probably never heard about grammar or spelling before. Seems like he's 1st grade drop-out. But hey, no one's perfect, right?"

"Yeah, and love is blind too, so..."

That's when a strong wave of perfume makes its way over to our nostrils, blocking away my sense of smell. We both start simultaneously coughing like we're having an asthma. A certain white shadow passes by us that is none other than Cindy Rendall, the school's popular queen B. She has hair down -thanks to us- in a beautiful white ombre waves down to her ass. How our 'prank' ended up being a huge mood and a next-level new look is still a question till this very day.

She doesn't even bother to acknowledge us, instead she moves with her deathly strongly-scented perfume past us.

"I could swear she wears this much perfume to strangle anyone that just as much as breathes near her!," Tiana mutters under her breath between her fits of coughs. I mutter out a 'True" between my own.

A cold familiar male voice suddenly chimes in from a small distance: "So what now? The second you lose interest and decide out you just leave me waiting for you yesterday in the school parking lot for two hours straight after school? You think it's funny, huh? One second you need my services so darn much, and the other you just ditch me around?" I look up at a hissing Aiden, furry snd hurt written all across his face.

Oh, shit! I completely forgot about that whole love coaching dilemma. I'm pretty sure we didn't set a schedule for the lessons though. Why would he assume we're having a lesson after every school day?

"You waited for me? For two hours?," I say, rather ask, puzzled. I eye up Aiden's fiery intense eyes. "I didn't know that football hit you that hard in the head making you completely lose your mind!"

"Yes, I fuckin' did! And now I really regret it! Shouldn't have gotten myself involved with you in the first place!," he seethes, smoke nearly coming out of his nose. I fold my arms across my chest and take in that low-blow. This is getting ugly pretty quickly. He sure looks like he's in for a fight. What the hell stuck up his ass and rotted?!
