It's been nearly a week since Yoongi left.

He would only be gone for a few more days but it felt like so long for you. You never purposefully wanted to be away from your brother for so long. You barely even understood the reason for his departure. Of course, relations with other empires is so important But why couldn't your parents go instead of sending your brother?

Oh, right. Your father is lazy and your mother listens to everything he says without question.

In his absence, the boys you've now considered close friends have noticed a mood shift in you. They can tell every time you drift off into your own thoughts, worried about Yoongi. They knew it would all be okay and you did too, but you still had this sinking feeling that something bad was about to happen.

"That pit in your stomach, you know how it like gets painful when you have a bad feeling?" You asked Namjoon who currently had his nose buried in a book but who was paying very close attention to your words.

"Mmhmm," he nodded.

"Why do I get that feeling about when Yoongi gets back?" Namjoon put a piece of paper he collected from town one day into the book to mark his page and closed his book, turning fully to face you.

"Are you afraid he got hurt?" He asked in response to your question.

"Well, no," you shook your head. "He can easily take care of himself if words come to blows. But, I don't know, maybe it's irrational of me. As the day gets closer, this feeling grows and grows. I... I'm worried." Namjoon nodded and contemplated your words before giving an answer.

"You said he can take care of himself. So that means you trust he'll be okay when he gets back. He's a smart man, if his smart mouth has anything to say about it," Namjoon mused and got a laugh out of you. "I understand why you'd have this feeling. Taehyung had it when Jin hyung left to come work in the palace. It was alleviated when you both showed up in the towns square. So it's not irrational. It's how you feel."

You thought on those last two sentences. If you were feeling it then it can't be irrational, right? There's gotta be some truth to feelings. That's why you feel them.

You decided not to dwell on that for now.

Jin would distract you with his etiquette lessons which would devolve into bad jokes and play fighting.

One of your lessons was horse back riding. Which would be fine if it wasn't a hands on lesson.

And you're afraid of horses.

"So they won't kick me if I walk near them...?" You asked shakily, your shoulders hunched to your chin and your arms holding your body. Jin laughed at your current position.

"Only if you spook them and with your demeanor right now you might give the horse an anxiety attack," the tall man said and shook his head, patting the horse he would be riding. You kept your arms tightly tucked into your body.

Jin was able to get you on your horse without too much trouble, though you kept gripping the reins so hard your knuckles turned white. He didn't like seeing you so tense. That meant you wouldn't quip back at him.

"What do you call something that is comfortable and you can sleep on on the ocean floor?" Jin asked and you spared him a brief glance.

"What?"

"A sea bed!" His laugh echoed through the forest trail you two were currently trotting down. It was high pitched and squeaky, kind of like a duck that inhaled helium.

You took a deep breath in and held it. You were trying not to laugh. But when you exhaled you let a quiet, breathy laugh out. Okay, that one was pretty good.

"I got you!" Jin exclaimed with glee and from there on made it his mission to make you laugh and relax until you reached your destination.

It was a lake. A lake that sat in the middle of the forest. Giant redwood trees reached over the lake, providing a gentle canopy of shade, covering the lake shore with a much needed break from the sun, even in the winter time. Wild flowers of many colors and heights stuck out from the tall grass and foliage surrounding the trees. It was such an untouched location you wondered how Jin had found it.

He dismounted his horse and helped you do the same. You were still kinda spooked by the horse but significantly less.

You took your shoes off, standing with your toes in the water. It gently kissed at your toes, providing a chill through your body that helped calm your nerves about the horses. And about your brother.

"You're still worried?" Jin asked and you nodded.

"I mean, I know my father. He's a bastard. He might have planned something by sending Yoongi instead of going himself. I don't know. I'm really frustrated. I miss him," you rambled and he looked at you fondly.

"Look at it this way. Whatever your father has planned, you don't have to go along with it," you perked up at that. "How many years have you spent defying your father? He may be a king but he sure doesn't have the respect of one. He doesn't deserve it. Not from you, not from Yoongi, hell, not even from my brothers and I. Not from Jimin either. If you need help defying his plans," Jin took your hands in his and smiled mischievously, "you have a whole army of friends who are ready to help you."

You nodded as you matched his smile with one of your own. The thought of having a group to help you revolt against your father excited you. You swung both of your hands which were holding his.

"That sounds great, thank you," you said and he brought one of your hands up to his lips for a gentle kiss. You blushed softly and he smiled.

"Anything for you, your highness."

Turns out, he really meant the last thing he said that day. After that, him and his brothers who have kind of stolen Jimin and forced him into their family, even though he doesn't mind in the slightest, were always with you, causing some kind of chaos. Never enough chaos to get the maids or servants in trouble. They were innocent in your pursuit of vengeance. The servant who was in charge of calling you to your fathers chambers whenever there was a meeting or something he wanted to tell you would have a hard time. You would be sure to do something great for him later as an apology.

The five of you were a force to be reckoned with. You all caused a general headache for your parents for the remaining three days of Yoongis absence.

You had got to see a new side of Seokjin too. The side that is all about mayhem. If he wants to, he can be an absolute menace to society. You found yourself really enjoying this side of him. You were used to business man Seokjin. This was fun.

His brothers... Hoo boy.

Taehyung was a chaotic whirlwind. When he was in chaos mode, everyone knew it. It's almost like he has a button you can press to activate hyperactive mode. Seeing him and Jimin together while Tae was like this is almost like watching a play but both actors have never seen the script and are improving everything. The audience loves it but it's still a trainwreck.

Namjoon is more of the subtle chaotic type. You wouldn't think he was scheming anything behind those eyes of his but once you spoke to him and he spoke in cryptic puzzles and riddles, you knew. He could talk a person in circles for hours and leave them more confused and with more questions about random topics than what was originally asked about.

Jimin was Jimin. You knew Jimins brand of chaos. Distractions. He could flirt with anyone. You call it the Jimin effect.

Combined you were the agents of chaos, here to get revenge on your horrible father who is definitely planning something.

The day he came back, you found out what.

It was a day where you five were planning something big. A big heist of sorts. Something that would annoy the pants off your father and maybe get him to leave you alone for a bit.

You all were standing in a team huddle with your heads in a circle so you could speak without being interrupted. You weren't aware you were being watched by two sets of eyes.

"So today? We do it," the plan was to distract your dad, sneak into his chambers, and steal a pen. Nothing too noticeable, you didn't exactly want to get in trouble. The two men standing in the doorway shared a look, one of questioning, the other of resignation.

The men huddled with you nodded and you giggled.

"You all know your stations?" You asked.

"I am to stand by your fathers door and make sure no one comes in," Tae said and you nodded.

"I distract your dad, talk to him about something political or whatever to get his interest," Namjoon stated.

"I stay with Tae Tae and distract anyone who comes by," Jimin drawled and you giggled again.

"I go with you to make sure the job gets done and nothing looks too suspicious," Jin said and you squeezed his shoulder with your hand.

"Perfect. Are you all ready?" The group nodded again and you smiled. "Alright, team chaos, let's go!" You all raised your hands in the air and then jumped when you heard a deep chuckle followed by a sigh from the doorway. You all startled and looked at the two men.

In the doorway stood your brother, Yoongi, and a man you've never met before who was the one chuckling.

The man who was laughing approached you as the huddle dispersed. He took your right hand and gently placed it against his lips.

"Quite the interesting first impression, your highness," the mystery man said while kneeling down on one knee, looking in your eyes with his own, a glimmer of mischief and curiosity shining in them. He had a smile that could make anyone fall head over heels. You blushed and giggled breathily, unable to look in his eyes.

"Not what I was expecting but..." Yoongi trailed off while your companions looked at the three of you in confusion. "Y/N, my lovely sibling, meet Jeon Jungkook. He will be... Courting you."
