In khanna mansion.

The door of AvNeil's room clicks open revealing Neil himself who was in his police uniform. His face was drained out.. his eyes travelled on bed where his wife was sleeping snuggling to duvet and clutching his pillow in her arms.. automatically smile curved on his face seeing his wife sweet antics..

Neil quietly closing the room walks inside the room and kept his stuffs on couch... he then saw the time which was showing 4am in the morning on the clock.. Neil took deep breath and walks to their cupboard..

He opens the cupboard and took his clothes out.. Neil taking his clothes went to washroom. Neil reaching into washroom kept his clothes on chair and turns the tap on..

He took water in his palm and splashed it on his face. He did that few times.. he then took towel and wiped his face.

Neil then freshened up she changed his clothes. He dumped his police uniform in the basket.

Neil ruffling his hair walks out of washroom and made his way to bed where avni was sleeping.

Neil sat beside avni and carefully took his pillow out of Avni's hole and kept on his side... as he pulled the pillow of Avni's arms he saw avni making faces in sleep. He smiles and patted her hair lightly then bending down pecks her hair..

Neil carefully slips himself under the duvet beside avni... he then pulls Avni in his arms which avni realising his presence snuggling to his chest making Neil smile..

Neil pecks her head and muttered..

Neil : I love you wifey....

Neil pulling avni closer to him and feeling content having her in his arms after work made him happy.. Neil closed his eyes and let sleep over take him..

In the morning..

Avni slowly opens her eyes and snuggling into Neil's chest...avni opening her eyes stares Neil's face with shock.. why wouldn't she be shock... she didn't expect Neil being here that too sleeping hugging her.. avni raised her hand up and touched Neil's face making Neil move in sleep...

Avni: is this real?

She thought to herself... she took moment to realise that she wasn't dreaming about Neil actually being here... her eyes shined up in happiness realising Neil was here... she missed him so much every night...

Avni caressed Neil's cheek and smiled brightly.. she moves to Neil's cheek and kissed his both cheeks making Neil smile in sleep..

Avni : I missed you Neil... I missed you hugging in the night...

Avni admiring her husband comes out of Neil's arms and taking her clothes went to fresh up.. whereas Neil turns his body and slept on his stomach...

Avni after freshening up comes out of washroom while flipping her wet hair... she kept the towel on couch and walks to bed to wake Neil up but stopped thinking he came late last night..

Avni made her way to dressing table and starts getting ready.. she combed her hair and left it open. Avni picks the bangles and wore to adore her wrist..

Avni filled her hairline while glancing at Neil who was sleeping..

Avni making her way to bed side picks her phone up and settled on bed.. she ruffles Neil's hair and planted a soft kiss on his head.

Avni : I love you Neil..

She whispered caressing his hair.. avni then stoop up and holding her phone rushed downstairs as she heard swetha calling her name..

Avni rushed downstairs and saw swetha and Bebe in the hall holding puja thail..

Avni : mummy ji, Bebe  sorry.. I got late..

Swetha : it's okay beta... did Neil come last night?

Avni : he did mummy ji... he is sleeping..

Swetha nodded her head.

Bebe : swetha we can talk later but for now let's go and do puja.. avni come with us... everything is arrange in the temple.

Avni : okay bebe... I'll get prashad..

Bebe bobbed her head and took swetha to temple whereas avni went to kitchen and quickly made prashad... she took it bowl and went to temple where swetha and Bebe was seated..

She kept the bowl down and sat next Bebe..

They completing  puja avni distributed the prashad to them and took blessing of Bebe and swetha..

Avni : mummy ji.. I'll starts making the breakfast..

Swetha : avni I'll help you preparing breakfast..

Avni nodding her head went to kitchen followed by swetha while Bebe sat in the hall turning tv on..

Avni and swetha starts making breakfast for everyone when they heard Prakash voice.. swetha excused herself and went to her room...

Everyone sat around dinning table and avni starts serving them.. Prakash noticed Neil wasn't present with them.

Prakash: princess isn't Neil back home yet?

Avni : papa ji Neil is sleeping..

Prakash nodding his head understanding Avni.. they all starts eating while Avni gave them company as she wanted to eat with Neil later to which family didn't say word because they know she won't have breakfast without Neil..

Everyone eat their breakfast while cracking jokes and catching up with family....

Avni after completing the kitchen walks to their room. She pushed the door and saw Neil still sleeping.. she closing the door behind her walks inside and sat beside Neil..

She ruffles his hair and starts calling his name out..

Avni: Neil... Neil.. wake up..

Neil feeling Avni's presence turns his head and placed onto Avni's lap to which avni smiles and continued ruffling his hair.. she bends down and kissed his head.. Neil snuggling to her.. his hand caressed her bare waist which send cold shivers to Avni..

Avni : Neil what are you doing? Neil get up..

She was still ruffling his hairs but Neil didn't stop nor he spoke word. Neil lightly opens his eyes and lifts his face go avni who passed him smile.

Avni : good afternoon Neil..

Neil laid back in her lap and rubs his thumb on her bare waist..

Neil : how long did I sleep for? What's the time?

Avni : it's 1pm..  Neil what time did you come back home last night?

Neil : around 4 I think....

Avni: why don't you take day off? You have continuously working that too late night.. you're stressing yourself and your body.. it's not good for you health Neil.. I don't like when you come home late and leave early in the morning..

Neil sat up as tears dropped from Avni's eyes on Neil's hand.. he cupping her face kissed her forehead.

Neil : I'm sorry wifey... last few months has been hectic and tough for us... especially when I'm not giving you time... I'm sorry wifey.. I was so engrossed in my work didn't realise my wife needs my attention, love and care.. I'm sorry wifey.. I know I didn't give you much time.. I was so engrossed with the work and cases I failed as husband but I promise that won't happen again... wifey... from today I'll give all the love and attention which you missed being with me... last night I came late as we succeeded the case wifey... and you know why I was still sleeping till late because I don't have work for week.... means our day for week.. wifey I know you won't complain to me but I also know how much you missed me and spending time with me... you know there is something I have planned for us which will make you happy wifey...

Avni crashed into his arms and sobbed.. she really used all these months where he was engrossed with his work and didn't spare time for them.. she would cry all night waiting for him but he would turn home next day and leave after next few hours... it broke hurt her heart when he got busy with his work leaving avni alone in the Khanna mansion.. she didn't complain because she knew what Neil's profession matters to him..

Neil caressed her Neil and pecks her her numerous of times..

Avni: I hate you so much... why didn't you spare time for us..

Neil : I'm sorry wifey... I won't let you complain anymore..

Avni broke the hug and looks at him..

Avni : what surprise are you talking about?

Neil : wifey that supposed to be surprise not to tell you... how can I tell you? You have wait..

Avni : please Neil tell me what surprise are you talking about?

Neil : nope.. by the way wifey you're gorgeous... I love it when you wear saree..

Avni smiles at him and leaned her head to his shoulder.

Avni : Neil...

Neil : hmm..

Avni : you won't go for work? Right!

Neil : I won't go to work wifey? Next week is going to be full of surprises for my dearest wifey and you should be prepared for it.

Avni : I'm excited Neil for the surprises... listen you should fresh up... I'm hungry... I was waiting for you to wake up...

Neil : you didn't had your breakfast.... what am I hearing wifey? How can you not have your breakfast? I don't like it when you become careless regarding your health.... why can't you be serious regarding your health Mrs khanna.

Avni pouts seeing Neil scolding her. She starts hitting his shoulder.

Avni: why are you so mean? You don't care about my feelings. Why do you have to scold me? I'm not being careless Neil... I want to have breakfast with you. Is there anything wrong waiting for you?

Neil : I'm sorry wifey.. you know how much I hate when you stay hungry just because of me... I'm sorry.. please don't get upset..

Avni : I won't be upset but please quickly fresh up.. I'm really hungry...

Neil : okay baba I'm going.. please take my clothes out.

Avni bobbed her head while Neil kissing her cheek went to washroom..

Avni climbed down off the bed and walks to their cupboard. She opens it and took Neil's clothes out.. she kept it on bed and taking Neil's phone she settled on bed leaning her back to headboard... she spread her legs out and covered with duvet..

She typed password to unlock Neil's phone.. a smile curved over face as she saw Neil's phone Home Screen... it was their marriage picture..

Avni bringing the phone close to her lips kissed the phone screen and smiled.

Avni starts scrolling to Neil's phone.. she got engrossed herself scrolling down to Neil's phone that she didn't realise when Neil walks out of washroom all freshened up..

Neil ruffling his hair and humming song comes out of washroom to see avni engrossed in his phone.. he smiles and threw towel to cough making his way to bed..

He picks his clothes and starts wearing it while noticing Avni's smile grew bigger and wider...

Neil : what is my wife going through that she is smiling?

Avni snapped her head towards Neil and saw getting ready.

Neil : wifey what are you seeing on my phone?

Avni : our marriage pictures Neil...

Neil : a year to our wedding.. time flew so quick..

Avni : it did Neil.. and I'm glad too..

She kept the phone side table and got up moving to Neil.. she tip toping ruffles his hair which was wet... she then kissed his cheek...

Avni : you get ready.. I'll get the breakfast in the room..

Neil nodded his head to which avni went downstairs and Neil continued getting dressed up.

Neil went to dressing table and picking the hairbrush he combed his hair.. he gelled his hair and pulls side drawer to take out handkerchief and watch..

He wore watch on his left hand wrist and shoved handkerchief in his pocket..

Neil walks back to bed side table and picks his phone up and shoved back into his jeans pocket..

Neil settled himself on couch which was in their room... he was thinking about his plan for Avni when he felt someone sitting beside him... he snaps his head and saw avni..

Avni: what are you thinking Neil?

Neil shook his head and looks at the plate which was filled with food... Neil knowing avni was hungry broke the first bite and fed her.. avni took the bite and starts chewing it...

Neil : in the evening we will be going out so be ready... at 7.. okay!

Avni nodded her head feeding him too... they fed each other while talking about the evening and exchanging kisses in between...

Both of them after finishing the food went to wash their hand whereas Neil took the plate downstairs as he wanted to meet others too....

In the evening AvNeil excusing themselves went to their room after spending  times with Bebe and swetha.. Prakash was in office to which Neil  didn't get time spend.... whereas neha was staying over her friends from last week..

Neil : wifey you should get change..

Avni : but Neil.... I don't want to change it... I like this...

Neil : will you be comfortable coming in saree?

Avni : why won't I be comfortable in saree Neil? I'm not going change Neil.

Neil : if you're comfortable then who am I to stop you... okay give me few minutes.. I'll come back then we will leave..

Avni bobbed her head and packed her handbag whereas Neil went to washroom...

Avni took house keys, phone and others essentials which she always carry whenever she goes out... she packed there when she heard Neil's voice.. she turns around and saw him..

Neil : shall we leave?

Avni : yes..

Neil moves to her and held her hand... they holding each other hands walks out of the room and closed the door behind them.. they informing swetha and Bebe went to destinations where Neil has planned..

Neil drove to the their destination.. soon as they reached to the destination avni squealed loudly making Neil palm his ears..

Avni : omg Neil.... movie....

Neil : yes movie... you wished to watch movie with me after marriage but it couldn't happen so why not today... come let's go...

They comes out of the car and starts moving to cinema hall... they brought the tickets and some snacks to eat along with popcorn bucket for themselves..

They walked inside the theatre and took the seat to back where no one could notice them or disturb them.. they sat down comfortably and was waiting for the movie to starts...

The theatre was full of people... avni was munching popcorn keeping her head on Neil's shoulder who was adorning smile on her face..

Soon the lights of the theatre was turned off as movie would starts anytime sooner...

Neil held Avni's hand and turned his gaze to the screen where the movie started.. they were so engrossed with the movie....

In between avni fed popcorn to Neil who smiles and continued watching the movie..

The movie last for three hours... finally the movie was over.. AvNeil comes out of the theatre and starts walking to their car.. they sat in the car and Neil starts driving.

Neil : so wifey how was the movie?

Avni : I loved it Neil.. I really enjoyed as I had you beside me... I really loved it... thank you Neil taking time for us..

Neil : anything for my wifey... now next place.

Avni : where are we going now?

Neil : to your favourite place.. beach..

Avni : wow... I love you Neil..

She threw her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek... Neil smiles and patted her hair..

Soon they reached to beach which was quiet and best which they loved..

They starts walking on beach with their bare foot abs holding each other arms...

They absorb the silence and waves hitting each other which they loved...

They sat down on sad dipping their legs into water and staring the sky which was filled with stars and moonlight...Avni's head on Neil's shoulder.. their hands entwined with each other...

Neil : this is beautiful as it was last year wifey.... this moment can never replaced by any other moments we experience... the silence beach moonlight flashing on us.... waves hitting our legs... this is peaceful and content feelings go experience especially when you're with me... I really love this...

Avni: I love it when you bring me here to experience all over it again... I love it when we come here and stare this beautiful moments..

Neil smiles and pecks her forehead..

Neil : I love you wifey...I wish we always stay together till our last breath... never wish to leave your side wifey...

Avni : I love you too Neil... we will stick with each other Neil.. we will fight for each other with all the odds...

Avni got up and settled between Neil's legs... she leaned back to his chest while Neil wrapped his arms around her waist and kept his chin on her shoulder...

Neil pecks back of her numerous of times... they were enjoying silence between them..

Neil : wifey how is you work going on?

Avni : it's going pretty Neil...

Neil : will you be able to take few day off from office?

Avni turning her face to him looks at him.

Avni : why do you ask that?

Neil : actually I'm planning something for us... like small holiday only for us... no work.. no family or friends but us...

Avni: you mean to say.... mini holiday for us..

Neil : yes... so will you take some days out for us?

Avni : I'll talk to papa and let you know..

Neil : okay... by the way don't you want to know where are you going?

Avni: I don't want to know Neil.. because I know wherever you take me it will be us... I want to enjoy surprise given by you..

Neil : you're being sweetest wifey you know that.. I love you a lot..

Avni: I know Neil.. and I love you too Neil..

Neil smiles and turns around to capture their lips for beautiful and passionate kiss.. they kissed each other pouring all the love that they had for each other.. They broke kiss and rested their head against each other's forehead..

Their journey has started here.

Years of togetherness is still yet to come.

They fell in love and was ready to live all their lives together.

They promised to love each other forever.

They promised to not leave each other in problems.

They promised to become each other's strength not weakness...

Their love didn't end here but began with new journey.
