"Is she coming?" Charu asked about Navya after telling Isha all about what happened at the restaurant where she went to meet her ex.

"She texted saying she's stuck" Isha told looking down at her mobile. "She will be so angry Charu, I just can't understand why you went back to him? It's an ongoing loop here, he treats you bad, you leave then he tries to act all good good you go back then it all start again"

"It's toxic, I know I want to get out of it I hate myself going back to him again I don't know what to do?"

"Don't beat yourself up now, can't blame you with two brain cells" Isha tried to joke.

Charu smiled half heartedly,"says the one who had never been in a relationship"

"And don't want to beee just seeing you and people around me in relationships" Isha shudders,"I feel blessed to not have that kinda head ache seriously life has less problems then why would I add one more?"

"You are too logical in that matter" Charu gave a sly grin glancing where Yash was,"but I think that's gonna change soon. Oh I would love to see you crying over a boy"

Isha gave a weird look to her,"that would never happen. I can bet on it"

"This is gonna be so interesting. Where is Navya yarr we gotta make a bet"

"Don't know she isn't replying" Isha frowned seeing her messages unanswered still, where was she?

"Let's get to the bus she will get there" Charu said getting up,"bro don't tell her instantly about Rudra she will kill me"

"And fry me in the pan if I hide and honestly you do need some scolding like nothing is good about that loser you totally deserve Navya's wrath"

"Jeez, I know I know my mistake, you also don't be against me now!" Charu walked out sulking.

It got stuck, like stopped working in the middle like you see in movies; I mean horror and crime movies. I am about to die without even watching, Stranger Things final season!

"You know I can read whatever you are typing and your stupid head might not grasp we have no network here so you are just wasting the battery" Advik said with a sour face to Navya stood near him cause, she was scared if anything happened she wanted to use him as her shield.

Navya looked up from typing a long ranting message to Isha. "Good, you will realise then I am not dying of happiness on being trapped with you, so you can mind your business"

"Damon Salvatore" Advik scoffed stepping aside with folded arms.

"What?" Navya glared taking a threatening step towards him. He was tall and she wasn't even that short but damn it, she hated looking up at him.

She will kill him, if he said a word about Damon. And there would be no one to save him here

" Cringe" Advik said under his breath, looking back at her with distaste. She had bow lips that looked natural, Advik remembered her cousins getting fillers to get those types but why was he looking at her lips?

"Are you telling me your name? Hello cringe I am Navya" they turned up to a cheeky grin.

"Whatever"

Advik muttered moving away maintaining the distance but she followed him to the other side too.

"Hey stay back in your corner this is my corner that's yours" Advik pointed at the corner of the lift opposite end strictly.

"I will stand wherever I want you won't tell me "Navya told, she won't admit she was scared if something happens

"Not near me"Advik frowned stepping completely away sticking against the wall

Navya was finding this amusing, she casually walked again to where he was leaning away from her. She batted her eyelashes"What are you saying? I can't hear you"

Advik groaned holding his head, this is a torture an epic fail.

Charu was acting asleep to avoid Navya's intensive interrogation when she comes and she didn't know when she really dozed off waiting for her on the bus.

Isha was worried now, where the hell was Navya? She wasn't able to reach her no call was going neither her texts were delivered. If she left, she would have informed them.

Was she sleeping in some classrooms? Nah
She must be fighting with someone or having fun, knowing her nature

Isha got down from the bus trying to call Navya again. She spotted Navya's classmate Ansh on the scooty at the parking lot,she quickly jogged down crossing the lane to ask him.

"Hey Ansh have you seen Navya?"She breath out because of running

Ansh gave her confused glance ,"She left after the class for the canteen"

"But she didn't come! Was she with someone?"

"I don't know, is there some problem?"

"No no she must be loitering around inside the uni, gotta check in there again I guess thanks"

Isha turned around disappointed. She was angry and concerned now. She and Charu had to go back and search for her. They can't leave like that. She made her way back to the bus.

Which was now LEAVING?

"No shit shit!"Isha's eyes widened she ran as if she could catch the bus. She called Charu.

Charu's mobile vibrated but she was deep in slumber to notice.

"Oh no" Isha groaned, stamped her foot when the bus was gone unless she was Krish there was no hope to catch it. Her bag and money all were on the bus at least good thing she had her mobile with her.

"What am I gonna do now??" Isha struggled to act calm now.

Yash and Shreyansh were making their way to parking lot.

"Advik that bastard left without us" Yash said shutting his mobile

"Must be doing some warm up before the match" Shreyansh reasoned

"You coming bro to the match?" Yash asked today was their football match both, Yash and Advik were in football club being football enthusiasts they actively participated in monthly matches.

"Tight schedule, next time" Shreyansh told analysing the sales graph on his tablet as they walked.

"Can't blame Suzanne for leaving your workholic ass, now" Yash scowled

"She made a wise decision bro, no hard feelings it was mutual "

" Mutual right? How's your laptop again" Yash laughed remembering how she threw his laptop out the window.

Shreyansh shot an unamused glance,"it's still too soon to joke about it deep down in the pit of my buried emotions, I still miss her"

"Or your laptop" Yash raised his brow, he knew Shreyansh was just messing he didn't give a shit about her. Yash's eyes landed suddenly on Isha she was in the middle of the road with lost expression looking in front.

"Bro you go take out the car I am coming" Yash scurried over to where Isha was as soon as he could like, he was pulled by an invisible magnet.

Isha whirled around deciding in a spur of moment to search for Navya alone, she almost knocked off her feet taken by surprise on spotting Yash heading towards her right behind her. "Oh my gosh you scared me" she steadied herself with a hand on her chest

"You okay?" Yash asked seeing her once over for any injury or something regarding her worried state.

"I am fine actually.... " Isha couldn't understand why but now she felt a bit relieved seeing him. He had never refrained himself from helping her maybe that was the reason why she told him about the situation,"I can't find Navya I am just so worried I know it's lame she must be somewhere doing something stupid but I can't shake off this odd feeling, she would have answered or dropped a message- I"

"Alright calm down, we will look for her you checked the uni?" Yash asked trying to remember which one was Navya ... wasn't Advik searching for her profile in the morning?

"It will take days to search the whole uni down" Isha said biting her lower lip anxiously.

"Don't worry we will definitely find her, she must be in her classes or some spots you know where she usually go around did you check any?"

"No" Isha answered checking her mobile again for Navya's message.

"Come let's check in then " Yash said in a soft voice she appeared so tensed.

Shreyansh honked the car from behind.

Yash and Isha's heads turned back.

"Wait" Yash said. Isha realised she was being selfish he had other work too he had to also be at home or somewhere.

Isha started.
"You know it's fine I will look for her by myself you go -

"Just wait here, okay" Yash cut her off with so much seriousness that it made Isha smile,"Okay"

"Okay" Yash said again, staring at her it was easy to get lost in her smile.

Shreyansh honked again, Yash jogged to him with a frustrated sigh,"you go I will come later" he said reaching Shreyansh's car.

Shreyansh observed him then Isha, he reminded Yash,"You have the match"

"I will make it there, just contact Advik wherever the hell he is to reach early"

"That makes the two of us, can't reach him he just went underground and you don't lose your head there, now "Shreyansh advised glancing at Isha's way.

"Don't worry man she just needs my help "

"Not the first time " Shreyansh said before leaving, something about that girl tells him, she gonna make his friend's life difficult.

"This sucks this sucks so much how do I contact why nobody cares a lift stopped working? where the fuck are people!? How can Divesh be so stupid" Advik paced around tearing his hair, in a small space of the lift.

Navya got bored of annoying him he was no fun anymore, she stood in a corner looking at her nails she started singing,"hum tum ek kamre me band ho or chabi-

Advik shot her a disbelief look then ignored, his claustrophobia was catching on now. He could feel his head getting heavy and cold sweats on it.

Navya rolled her eyes then started playing scribble humming,"ah ha tamatar bade mazedaar ah-

"Stop that" Advik said in a terse voice,"You think it's a joke?"

"So what do you want me to do cry??" Navya asked back equally angry. She frowned on noticing him appearing unwell all color lost his face and rapid breathing . He exhaled out slumping down holding his head between his knees.

Advik tried to calm himself but flashbacks of those dark childhood memories start playing in the back of his head.

"Woah woah what happened?" Navya got near him freaked out bending to see him she lightly touched on his elbow, he shrugged it off instantly"don't touch me"

"Okay diva calm yourself, I know what it is?" Navya sat sitting squat observing him.

His head hidden, he looked up with distant eyes,"what?"

"You want to use the washroom and can't control"

"What? No" Advik made a face slowly getting distracted by this annoying girl.

Navya watched him with squinted eyes lift lights were getting dim, she too felt a bit scared about the situation now but saw this guy losing it and we can't have two people crying now.

"I feel you, so don't worry, we are together in this"
She raised her hand in a fist like guys do.

Advik breathing was still laboured he looked at her fist then her with haze and feeling disoriented,"I don't want to use the washroom"

"Don't lie I know that reaction it's the same urgent one"

"No it's not"

"Yes it is"

"Are you crazy? why are you fighting with me on it? I know better"

"Because I am right ,you are just embarrassed to admit it's fine dude just admit I want to pee I can't control it's not that hard!"

Navya observed him with a hand on her chin,"Nah, you look just fine to me"

Advik stopped realising he felt fine he was too invested in arguing with her that his panic attack subsided. He looked at Navya in wonder he felt tad bit of guilty-

Navya snorted,"I should've taken pic of you and made a meme me writing my name on the subject space during exam"

"We checked almost everywhere she goes " Isha said thinking hard where else Navya could be? After looking around in the canteen, Ground, FD room.

She clicked a snap of an empty classroom.

Isha took a sip from the pepsi bottle. Yash got a cold drink bottle for Isha to calm her nerves.

"We covered all the classes?" Yash asked. He had a match but he wasn't complaining he was with Isha he glanced at her, her brown eyes filled with worry in warm sunlight her cheeks turned red and her distracting lips turned down missing her usual smile there, he felt uneasiness seeing her in distress.

"Here" she offered her bottle noticing him looking at her.

"No, I am okay" he said quickly and awkwardly. Could he be less obvious everytime?

"Don't worry I drank from up" she told thinking he was bothered by that if she only knew.

Isha gazed up at him expectedly she felt embarrassed maybe she was being too frank. But Yash now was almost her friend. She had his name in her friends book, where only a few people were there.

She pouted putting her hand down Yash took the bottle immediately and gulped down WHOLE in one go

Isha watched with amazement his adam apple bobbing up and down she realised he was really handsome he had this soft hair falling in his eyes, she elbowed him in his side,"Hey! I didn't say you to drink the whole bottle"

"What?" Yash acted innocent

Isha laughed shaking her head,"you are so bad, Yash"

Yash grinned back successfully making her smile,"we should check upstairs does she have classes there?"

"Yeah on the sixth floor " Isha said looking at the staircase. She hated upstairs classes and the never ending stairs."I hate upstair classes"

"We can use the lift most of the staff members have left already so no worries"

"Navya also often take lifts but are we allowed?" Isha whispered the last part with conspiracy making Yash chuckled she was cute,"don't worry only 6 months jail"

"Don't make fun I am serious" Isha frowned.

"Chill, you are fine" Yash pressed the button pointing downwards for the lift. It showed nothing as if it was not working.

"It's not working I guess" Isha reckon.

"Wait, I will call the guard I know he will get it alright"

"Hmm connections" Isha teased

Yash flushed rubbing his neck making a call,"It's through Advik, I swear I am a normal person"

The guard answered.

"Hello Neeraj bhaiya East campus lift's not working can you see to it.....-

"Advik said?" Yash frowned..

The guard told entire thing making Yash's eyes widened. He stared at Isha nervously now. Isha was again trying to call Navya in hopes it won't be out of network again.

"Make it start" Yash said before hanging up
