Ranmaru

  "I- I what?" I stared at the quartet of boys, completely speechless. I found myself taking a step back, not having a single clue of how I should react.

    "Y/n... we know three of us will be hurt,  but,  we can respect any decision you make, but we all have a love for you that we can't hide any longer, so please, Wh- who do you love?" Kotobuki said, clenching his fists.

    "Reiji, I- I don't, um," I looked over each of them one by one, all of them seemed to be struggling to be silent while waiting for my reply. 'I- I can't just answer here, I should think about it, right..?' Clearly, they didn't think that; they were blocking the only exit. I bit down on my lower lip, starting to internally panic. Finally, I glanced at Ranmaru for only a short moment and felt my heart rate pick up. I instantly shook my head wildly before taking off down the hill, I noticed the hurt expressions Ranmaru and Reiji held when I pushed past them.  ' I can only imagine that Camus and Ai look the same ' I thought,  making me feel a pang of heavy guilt. I closed my eyes and shut out my thoughts and guilt and continued to run.

Time skip

    "....Why did I do that!!" I was pacing back and forth in front of a bench that was on the edge of the fairgrounds. The fair had ended hours earlier and here I was screaming at myself for doing something so incredibly stupid. 'The guys must be heartbroken! why didn't I just let them down nicely! worse yet none of them know where I am! I shouldn't be out here at this time of night, I'm going to give Reiji's mothering side a heart attack!' I started pacing faster while beginning to bite my nails nervously. '"Should I go back? but then I have to face him..." 'Him..? I meant them..!' I thought while shaking my head slightly. '...didn't I?' A certain face flashed into my mind and my heart immediately sped up. "N-no!" I shouted at myself while shaking my thoughts away.

    "Y/N!" I heard a familiar deep voice shout, I snapped my attention to the source of the voice and widened my eyes.

    "R-Ranmaru?" Before I could even begin to ask what on earth he was doing here I felt his arms wrap around my waist tightly.

    "Idiot! What the heck made you think it was okay for you to run off like that! and to stay out this late, alone?! You remember your a girl right!?" I looked up at the tall silver-haired male hugging me to his chest tightly and found that he had a extremely worried expression. "We all went around the whole fair looking for you stupid!"

    "I- I didn't know how to react to... everything so I just ran, I'm sorry.  I-."

    "Then you should have said something, not made us all worry." he growled, then with one sudden movement he put his forhead to mine. "...you shouldn't have made me worry!"

    "..." I went silent, biting my lip. "I couldn't face you all, so I..." 

    He looked me directly in the eye and gave me a look that clearly stated 'stop talking.'

    "Sorry, I shouldn't have left like that, or I should have at least went home after so long..."

    "Do you know how scared I was Baka, I just confessed my love to you and then you run off and don't come back... we all- I thought,  I might be responsible for putting you in danger..."

    I quickly shook my head. "No it was my fault, I just..." I felt my heart beating faster and faster, barely noticing that Ranmaru's face was closing in on mine. "I-... "

    "I love you Baka, do you know how much I want to kiss you right now?" Ranmaru muttered, holding me tighter in his arms.

    "...." I blushed a deep red, 'Ever since they asked who I loved... he keeps popping into my head and I push it away... why? C...can I just let myself say yes..?'  

I love you
Desperately I want to say those words...

    "...you what?" He widened his eyes a bit, a spark of hope filling them as he did.

    "I said that aloud?" I squeaked, but then quickly shook my head. "No, nevermind that... y-...yes.. I- I do.. I love you.." I said slowly. immediately I felt his lips on mine, shooting my heart rate through the roof. Eventually, I gained the courage to kiss him back gently.

    "Thank you for choosing me... Y/n," he smiled softly at me once his lips parted from mine. "I'll cherish you, forever."
