    "I can't hurt anyone, I don't....."

    "It isn't like that, we know three of us will be hurt. We can respect the decision you make, but we all have a love for you that we can't hide any longer, so please, Wh- who do you love?" Kotobuki said, just slightly clenching his fists.

    My mind whirled with thoughts, staring at the 4 males in front of me while they returned it with desperation.

    ' I have to answer, but, what should I say?' I slowly looked at each of them until my eyes landed on Ai; I found myself to continue to watch him, his cyan eyes looking straight into my own as I nibbled on my lip nervously..  'Why is my heartbeat so much faster when I look at him? ....It shouldn't take a genius to figure out why honestly you do know Y/n, don't you? I like him... out of all of them, Ai has been the one to make me smile and give my heart this strong feeling.'   "I love... Ai," I said, just loud with enough for everyone to hear.  Ai Immediately lit up with happiness while his lips turned up into a perfect and sweet smile.

    "Arigato, Y/n."

Time skip

     "You had better cherish her Mikaze... otherwise you know what will happen, we won't hesitate to start fighting for her," Reiji said once we were down the hill, his voice not wavering in the slightest

    'He's being serious..' I looked up at Ai, watching him look Reiji directly in the eye.

    "I will, Reiji," Ai said in a soft but stern tone. Without a word, Reiji nodded; sparing me one last glance before leaving me with Ai, alone.

    "Ai...?"I started, feeling a bit awkward in this situation. 'what should I even say?'

    "Y/n, let me talk first... Please." Ai whispered, turning to me and putting his hands on my shoulders gently. I simply nodded in reply, keeping my eyes fixated on him. "The feeling you have given me, this... pain in my chest when you're near the others. The fact that I love every, aspect, of you; your personality, your hair, your eyes, your lips... You're perfect. I want to be close to you, I want to wrap my arms around you constantly,  even when we are at a place I know I can't or wouldn't be acceptable for me too, and I have this strong urge to... connect our lips. those feelings are foreign to me, but yet... They're nice. I'll ask you properly this time, will you be my girlfriend Y/n?"

    "Ai... I.." I felt my cheeks become extremely hot while my heartbeat began beating so loudly that I thought even he could hear it. "Y-yes, I will," I gave him a closed eye smile before I suddenly felt something warm and soft on my lips. Slowly opening my eyes again, I found his face near mine, so close in fact that it almost looks like he could be kissi— ... my thoughts completely  froze for a moment.  ' he- is kissing me?' Suddenly one arm wrapped around my torso pulling me closer and sending butterflies through my stomach. Once again, my head began to whirl while I tried to remember what I should be doing in this situation.

    Ai chuckled softly at, what I could only imagine to be the expression on my face. Once his lips parted from mine his hand gripped around my wrist gently while his thumb gently rubbed over it. "I can feel your heartbeat you know, you don't have to be so nervous..."

    "I- I'm not! I just..!" I begin but found myself shutting my mouth and making my lips into a straight line.

    "S-sorry, you just looked so cute when you smiled, so I couldn't resist..."

    "C-cute?" I looked up at him, notably embarrassed.

    "H-hai, very cute," He muttered, staring into my eyes lovingly.

    "...." I was silent for a moment before I quickly leaned up towards him and pecked his lips. "I love you."

    His face turned a deep red and he widened his eyes for a moment, 'I actually managed to surprise him,' I thought with a light chuckle.

    "...I love you too, Y/n," he put his forehead to mine and closed his eyes. "I look forward to what's ahead, with you by side I think I'll be capable of anything, you have given my life a new meaning, Y/n." this time when his lips met mine, I kissed back.
