I parked my car and turned off the engine. We got out of the car and headed inside of my apartment building. I lead her through a hallway and to my apartment. I unlocked the door and stepped inside with Melody. "Okay, so my roommates don't know about this. They'll seem a little weird at first since their total dumbasses and I hate them." She laughed. "It's fine." I pointed at my room. "You can put your stuff in there since that's my room." She nodded and went in.

I looked for Tim and Ross. "Tim! Ross!" They popped their heads out of Ross's room. "Hey. Did you get the stuff I wanted?" Ross asked. I nodded and gave him the bag from Michael's. He nodded. "Also, I kind of brought something for you both." I said. Their faces lightened. "What?" They said in unison. I pushed them into Ross's room and closed the door.

"You what?" they said in unison. I shushed them. "Listen, her name's Melody and she's nineteen. She's also really smart and she graduated college already." They nodded. "So it's cool she can stay here but where will she sleep?" Tim said. I shrugged. "Probably in my room. I'll just sleep on the couch." They nodded. "Okay," Ross said, "but if she doesn't have a job, then what is she going to do?" I whispered, "I'm gonna try to get her a job at the offices. She majored in technology and engineering and she loves doing computer stuff." Ross shrugged. "Okay whatever. Let's meet her."

We walked to my room. I poked my head in and saw Melody sleeping. I smiled. "You'll have to wait. She's sleeping." They shrugged. "Okay, we'll be playing games in the living room." Tim said. They walked away. I looked back at Melody. She's cute.

Melody's P.O.V
I woke up in Max's room. His white walls welcomed me as I stood up and grabbed my backpack. I grabbed my phone and slipped it in my pocket. I opened the door and silently walked out.

"Hello?" I said through the empty hallway. No one answered so I went to the living room. I saw two guys sitting on the couch. That must be his roommates. I grinned and walked behind the couch. A pudgy cat greeted me. I was about to pet it but let it sniff my hand instead. Once she caught my scent she fell on her back and wanted me to pet her stomach. I did and also read her collar. Kitty Purry. I smiled and looked up at the guys. They were still facing the screen. I grinned and faced the wall.

When the time was right, I put my back against the couch and jumped backwards. I slid down the front of the couch. "Hi." I said. The two jumped and dropped their controllers. I laughed and slid down the rest of the couch.

One of them smiled. "You must be Melody. I'm Ross and that's Tim. Also, great first impression by the way." Ross said. I smiled. "Yeah, I always make fun first impressions." They laughed. "Well, since you're here, what do you want to do?" Tim said.

I shrugged and grinned. "How about this!" I jumped on the ground and tackled Tim to the ground. He landed on his stomach. "Oh, okay. Didn't give me a chance." Ross backed up. "Please, great warrior. Do not fumble me to the grounds of our land. Have mercy on me!" he said smiling. I laughed. "Then, you should have learned your lesson five seconds ago, oh scraggly hair one." I jumped on him and he caught me. We spun around. I wrapped my legs around him and clung on to his neck. Tim stuck out his leg and we collapsed to the the ground. I landed on Ross's stomach. He pushed up his glasses and looked at me.

"You have won this battle, warrior. But next one, I will win!" he said laughing. I hugged him and rolled over. Max was standing there in the doorway. I quickly stood up and blushed. Max laughed. "Two seconds I was gone and this happens?" Ross stood next to me and smiled. "Your friend here killed Tim." he said and pointed at Tim, who was still lying on the ground. I laughed. Max shook his head. "You hungry?"

We sat in the living room with our food. Ross turned on the T.V. "I need to catch up on my anime." he said going to the recorded shows. I look at Ross. Max elbows him. "We have a guest. Maybe she doesn't have as strong of an interest of anime like you do?" he sneered.

I shook my head. "I'm fine with anime. I watch different animus like One Punch Man, Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, oh and I love Miku. She's so cute with her blue hair!" Tim, Ross, and Max stared at me.

I raised my eyebrows. "What? Just because I'm a fancy college graduate doesn't mean I don't watch anime." Ross smiled. "Thank god." he said in relief. I patted him on the back. "But there are a lot of other shows to watch besides anime. You guys introduced me to your interests, let me introduce you to mine.

I grabbed the remote from Ross and flipped through shows. Once I found the show I wanted, I put it on. Max leaned forward. "Scream Queens?" he said. I nodded. "I love this show. No, it's not about prissy white girls and their drama. It actually makes front of those girls. The show is about a murderer in a devil costume that kills on a college campus. A sorority, made up of geeks, freaks, and prissy white girls, band together to catch the murderer. But each girl is picked off and killed one by one." They stared at me in fluster. I laughed. "Just watch."
