I sat at the dining room table. Ross sat next to me along with Alesa. Adam sat next to Alesa and Max sat next to Adam.

Mashed potatoes, roast beef, peas and carrots, corn bread, and macaroni and cheese was on the table. I licked my lips at the beautiful sight.

"Alesa, nice job with the dinner. Feels like Thanksgiving again." I said.

She smiled. "Thanks! I tried." she replied.

Adam rubbed his hands together. "Let's eat!"

After dinner, I helped Alesa wash the dishes. She passed me a plate and I dried it then placed in the cupboard. She looked at me.

"So, how has your and Max's relationship grew, you know, since the incident on the Ferris wheel?" she asked.

I shrugged while placing clean silverware in the drawers. "I don't know. Our jobs have been so busy, no chemistry has actually really happened." I said.

She looked at me with sad eyes. "Do you want any chemistry?"

I looked at her. "I don't know. I mean who knows if he really liked me. What if he just kissed me to shut me up. I mean I was having a panic attack. Plus, who would like me with my past. I'm a freak! I don't know why you guys help me out and give me a place to help me feel like I belong."

She turned off the running water from the sink and gave me a hug. I hugged her back. Bailey and Milton waddled over to comfort us.

I smiled. Alesa let go of me. "We'll always be here for you, through thick and thin." she said.

I smiled. "Thanks."

Adam came into the kitchen. "So, after all of this delicious food, wanna throw it all up in the lake, because we're going swimming."

I sat in Adam and Alesa's room. She was going through her closet to find me a swimsuit I can borrow.

"Where is it? I swear I have the perfect one." she said. Finally, she pulled out a pink box from the closet.

"Here it is!" she exclaimed.

She placed the box on the bed. I looked at her.

"Um, do you think I'm that ugly to make me wear a box when we swim?" I said sarcastically.

She laughed. "Funny. But it's inside."

She opened the box and pulled out a bikini. It was dark purple with no straps. It looked amazing.

I picked up the bikini and examined it.

"Alesa, this is so cute." I said with amazement.

She nodded. "Yeah, I used to wear it all the time when me and Adam were dating. It usually got him going him, you know." She smiled at her remark then sighed.

"Then the bikini got him so all over me. Eventually I stopped wearing it, because it had a little malfunction." she said.

I looked at her with question. She looked at me.

"Mason."

I laughed and rolled on the bed. She rolled her eyes and smiled. "It's true."

I sat up and wiped the tears from my face. "That's hilarious. Anyways, I'm going to try this in and then I'll see you soon." I said and walked into the bathroom.

Max's P.O.V (long time, right?)
I walked out on the patio with Ross. The Washington sun greeted me. I smiled and sighed.

"Nothing like a warm summer day to burn on my skin and relieve me from hardship." I said.

Ross walked up to me shook his head.

"It's spring, Shakespeare."

I rolled my eyes and walked down the wooden steps to the dock. Ross followed me. We looked out on the lakefront. Other neighbors were water skiing on the lake.

Ross and I looked at each other. Then, we jumped into the water. I stayed under the water a little. It was murky and unclear to see. I couldn't hold my breath any longer so I poked my head from the water.

Suddenly, something licked me and I.... screamed. Ross stood on the dock with Adam laughing at me. I looked next to me. Rascal was floating in the water smiling at me.

I smiled and rolled my eyes. I gripped he edge of he dock and pulled myself up. "Stop laughing or I'll kill you both." I said seriously.

They stared at me and walked away. I chuckled at my remark. Gottem, Max.

I sat on one of the beach chairs set up on the patio. The screen doors flew open and Alesa walked out with Mason and a purple bathing suit on.

She smiled and backed away from the door. "Ladies and ladies, introducing, Melody Firestone!" she announced.

Melody walked out from the doors, beautiful. She was wearing a black lace cover up with purple sandals. Her hair was down but pinned back.

She looked amazing, but we haven't seen her fully.

She twirled a little. Ross and Adam clapped and pulled up imaginary scoreboards.

"Eight!" Adam yelled.

"Six!" Ross yelled. She looked at him.

"Ross!" she said. He stuck his nose in the air.

"Your opening could've been a bit better." he said with a modeling accent.

Melody laughed and walked over to me. She smiled and sat next to me in another chair.

"Beautiful day out, isn't it?" she asked. I nodded.

"Yeah." I said. Adam walked over to us.

"Swimming. Chop, chop." he said and walked to the dock with Ross.

I looked at Melody. "You may go first." I said.
She smiled. "Thanks, but hold up."

She walked to the edge of the patio and pulled a string at the back of her cover up. Suddenly, the cover up dropped to the floor and her bikini was revealed.

My mouth dropped open. It was purple and strapless. She pulled the pins out of her hair and flung off her sandals. She ruffled up her hair and took off her sunglasses.

I couldn't help but stare. She looked at me and smiled. "Now I'm ready."

We walked to the dock and jumped off. The water hit us hard and we popped back up to the surface.

She spit out the water form her mouth. "Ugh, that was nasty."

I grabbed a random floaty lying on the water somewhere and sat on it. Melody floated towards me.

I held out my hand for her and she grabbed it. I pulled her up into the floaty and swayed on the water together.

She looked up at the sun smiling. "I love Washington. It's so beautiful." she said.

I nodded. "Yeah, I guess." She turned on her side and looked at me.

"Why do you never really say anything or give a real answer?" she said. I looked at her weird.

"What?"
"Like why don't you ever say what you want to say. It's always, yeah, okay, I quests, not really, no. Use bold words."
"Am I in English class?"
"If you were, I would've taught you what an adjective was first." she said.

I laughed and turned in my side to face her. I stared into her gorgeous eyes, but I had to keep my pervert eyes from looking away from her eyes.

She smiled at me. Tell her. Compliment her. Do something.

"Melody, you're beautiful. You know that right?" I said.

She blushed a bright red. "Um, kind of?" she said awkwardly laughing. I smiled. That was cute.

She looked at the water then back and me. Suddenly, she put her hand on mine. I blushed and stared at her, speechless.

She smiled. "Max, don't be scared to be yourself around." she said.

I nodded and smiled a little, though I didn't feel like smiling.

She looked at me. "Seriously, I mean we are friends right?"

I nodded. "Yeah-" Wait, what?

Oh! Cliffhanger! Not really but anyways, I would like to formally introduce myself to all my wonderful new readers. Hi, I'm Sofia. I write books. That's all.
