(A day later) When we got to the offices, Alexa and Max talked a lot. Even overnight. They were always on the phone or texting each other. Melody got more and more uncomfortable. However, I always cheered her up. To be honest, I loved accompanying Melody. She was so much fun and so adorable and beautiful. She felt so comfortable around me. Since Max never payed attention to her anymore, I was her pillow that she always laid on. And I never wanted her to flip me over.

That afternoon I walked over by the kitchen. Alexa was standing there, warming up something in the microwave. She noticed me and smiled.

"Hey Ross! I love this place! It's amazing. You know what else is amazing? That you're CEO of it." she said still smiling. I gave a fake smile. Is she flirting with me? She pressed a button on the microwave and pulled out her food.

She opened her lean cuisine and started eating. "So, Melody. I can tell you like her." she said bluntly. I raised my eyebrows and stepped back. "Um, not to be rude, but that's kind of none of your business." I said. She grinned and came over by me.

"Oh come on, Ross. Everyone knows you like her. Even Max." she said. I looked at her. "How would you know that?" I asked her. She smiled. "Well, he looks at her a lot and he loves smiling at her." she said and contorted her face a little. I arched eyebrows.

"Sounds to me like you're jealous." I said crossing my arms. She looked up in a panic. "What? No no no. I love Max. He's my 'not alone buddy' (reference)." she said. I studied her. "Okay," I said, "whatever."

She looked at me and grinned. "You know if you like her you should ask her out. She seems like she's really into you." she said. I backed up. "Listen, thanks for the advice and all, but taunts my personal life. Not yours." I said loudly. She shook her head, smiling.

"Okay, the choice is yours." she said. She threw away her food, still half full. I looked at her, frowning. She came over by the doorway and stopped by me. She whispered in my ear, "Max still has the upper hand you know." Then, she sashayed out the room. I f**king hate when she sashays (another reference).

I walked to my office and slipped on my headphones. What if she's right? What if he'll take away Melody? I looked at Melody our my window. She was standing next to Ethan at his desk. Tonight, I'll do it.

Melody's P.O.V
After editing a couple videos of Barney's, I checked the time. 5:30. "Wow, time went by fast for six videos." I said. Jordan knocked on my door. I turned and waved him in. He came and stood by doorway.

"Hey, Jordan." I said smiling. He smiled back. "Hey. Normally, I don't come in offices and say 'hi' but you're kind of new here and I just wanted to say, you know, hi." He said awkwardly but still trying to stay cool. I giggled and smiled.

"Hi, Jordan." I responded. We stared in silence for several seconds. Then Jordan spoke. "Oh, Adam says he wants to talk to you." I stood up. "I knew there was a reason you were here." I said grinning. He laughed and we walked out of my office.

I walked into the conference room where everyone was sitting. I sat next to Red and Barney. Ross was across from me and Max and Asslexa was next to him. I rolled my eyes at them when they were talking and laughing.

Adam came in and sat at the edge of the table. "So, this isn't a serious meeting. Just wanted to invite you all to a very annual event." he said. Barney interrupted. "Adams if it's bowling, I can't dude. Yous know what happened last times." he said. Adam smiled and shook his head. "No, Barney. I wouldn't take you to that again." We laughed.

He leaned back in his chair. "Anyways, what I am inviting you to is the annual Seattle County Fair." he said excitedly. I smiled and waved my arms in the air. "YES!" I one starred at me and I put my arms down. Red giggled at me.

Adam smiled. "Every year we go and it will be fun. Invite people. I'm bringing Alesa and Mason." he said. "I'll bring Alexa." Max exclaimed and looked at Alexa. She smiled and blushed. I rolled my eyes and looked at Red.

He looked at me and stuck his finger in his mouth. I smiled in the satisfaction of knowing I'm not the only one that thinks Max and his old date are f**king ridiculous.

Adam smiled and stood up. "So the date of the fair-" I sat up. His date is having an affair? I thought looking at Max. "Will be this Saturday at 5." Adam continued. "Thank you." Adam said and we all walked out of the conference room.

I sat on the white couch in our filming. I was texting on my phone and sat in silence. Ross sat next to me.

"Who are you texting?" he asked. I grinned. "It ain't none of your business." I remarked. He smiled. I shook my head. "Just someone that might be coming to town." I said. He nodded. "Cool, it would be nice meeting more people." he said. I nodded. "Yeah it would." I looked at my phone. It would be nice to talk with her about everything.

Hey my fluffy chicks! Sorry for the kind of short chapter. I just wanted this to be a lead up for the next two chapters which are going to be great. Again, I wanted to thank IdioticNerdAlert her advice and everything she does to help me. Also, I wanted to thank someone else that I never really thought of until now. So there was this girl who always voted on my chapters and commented on what she thought. She's really dorky and nerdy like all of us and she's really cool.
