"DAK! PUT ME DOWN!"

Tala Villanueva screamed happily as her brother was holding her upside down, unable to touch the ground.

"You'll get down when you admit that I'm better than George, Mick and Lance." Dakila Villanueva teased his sister as he held her legs, therefore allowing her to hang upside down.

Not by choice though, of course.

George Russell, Mick Schumacher and Lance Stroll stood nearby to their two best friends, seeing them bicker like the constantly arguing siblings that they were.

Dakila may have been the more successful sibling and the overall richer twin, but Tala had something which he was lacking on in certain areas.

Personality and humor.

"I said that you were better than Tonio, Charles and Alex, so why doesn't that matter?"

Dakila shook his head with a small smile on his face at his sisters words. "Because I have to be the best of the best."

"Bit hard when you're amazing and beautiful sister is automatically better than you."

"Lies."

"No mate, it's not." George and Charles shouted loudly from opposite sides of the room that they were in, with the two of them laughing loudly.

"Dude! You're both my best friends, not hers!" Dakila released a small whine from the back of his throat at the words of his best friends.

"Nope, we're her boys." Charles Leclerc winked playfully at the two Villanueva siblings, hearing one laugh loudly whereas the other one released an offended shout.

"Love you, Charlie!"

"Love you too, Tally."

George noticed the two smiling brightly at each other and forced his eyebrows to furrow together in confusion.

He had no idea that they were that close.

And he didn't like it.

"Does anybody else know that you're here?"

"No."

"Oh, okay."

Charles Leclerc spoke in surprise with both of his eyebrows raised as he stood in front of the figure of the one and only Tala Villanueva.

She was wearing light grey sweatpants that he knew were belonging to that of George Russell, as well as a very familiar sweatshirt.

The sweatshirt of her brother.

He noticed her purple under eyes which she had managed to slightly cover with some concealer.

It wasn't that noticeable if you weren't looking, but he was always somebody who took note of the small things about her, since he cared about her.

The Monégasque Formula One driver felt like he had lost both a brother and a sister when Dakila had died.

Charles raised his eyebrows in surprise once more as the Villanueva girl stepped against his chest, before she wrapped her arms around his waist, therefore burying her face in to the crook of his neck.

"Are you okay? You never want hugs."

Charles gently wrapped his arms around the girl that he had always seen as a sister, with his chin resting on the top of her head.

His lips pressed gently against her temple to offer and provide his sister with the comfort and love that she deserved and most definitely needed.

"I can come with you to see the others, if you would like?" Charles smiled gently at her as she pulled out of the hug.

His hands clutched her own as he brought his thumb on to the palm of her hands to draw some small and comfortable circles on them.

Like Dakila used to do.

"I think that I might just go and see George, and maybe Lewis because I really like his dog." Tala smiled gently at the Leclerc boy, seeing the Monégasque Formula One driver smiling at her reassuringly.

"You have met Roscoe?"

"Yeah. Lewis has brought him to the apartment a couple of times whilst George was out." Tala admitted shyly.

"You have been spending time with Lewis alone?"

"No, I just told you, he had his dog with him."

"That's not what I-"

Charles noticed a small teasing smile on the lips of the Villanueva girl, as he had quickly realised that she was messing with him and teasing him.

"Love you Charlie."

Charles stared at the woman in adoration as he took a hold of her hand to walk with her to the Mercedes garage since she had decided to go to a race.

For the first time since the death of her brother.

"Love you too Tally."

George Russell furrowed his eyebrows together in confusion as he noticed the figure of Charles Leclerc walking in to the Mercedes garage.

He could almost feel his heart stop at the sight of the second figure who was walking beside the Monégasque, holding his hand.

"Tal?"

Charles carefully released his hold on the hand of the Filipino girl and took a step back to allow the Russell boy room to run towards and in to his best friend.

Tala was pulled in to the chest of the Russell boy and lifted in to the air as he hugged his best friend as tightly as he could.

A gentle smile coated her features as she stared in to the blue of the eyes of the Russell boy, seeing them sparkle down at her.

"You're at a race? Why? How? Are you okay? Are you sure that you are able to be here? Are you feeling uncomfortable? Do you need us to get you out of here?"

Tala smiled at him before she rested her head against his chest, feeling him immediately wrapping his arms around her waist as if it was his immediate response.

"I came here because I wanted to see you. So just hug me and let me be in a racing garage for the first time since we lost Dak." Tala felt the arms of the new Mercedes driver tighten around her as he continued to hug her.

Until they heard another voice.

"Hey, Tal. You want some food?"

Lewis Hamilton smiled brightly at the young girl which he had grown to care for a lot, seeing the girl offering him a small smile.

"What food have you got for me?" Tala stepped out of the arms of the Russell boy to walk towards the seven time world Champion.

"Salad."

"I'll pass."

Lewis couldn't back the loud laugh that exited his throat at the displeased look on her face, causing him to shake his head from side to side.

"Ask Toto for some chicken, I'm pretty sure that he has just ordered KFC." Lewis ruffled the girls dark hair with his fingers as he noticed her attempts to squirm away from him.

"Is the vegan telling me to eat a chicken?" Tala wiggled her eyebrows teasingly at the man.

"The vegan wants their friend to have some food, since you don't want to be healthy and have a salad." Lewis laughed, not even noticing how both George and Charles watched the two of them closely.

They were like siblings.

"Well the vegans friend can eat an entire buffet and still be healthy." Tala lifted one of her hands to push the shoulder of the Hamilton man backwards, as she wiggled her eyebrows once more.

"No need to brag about your high metabolism, Tal. I could breathe in air and my body would class that as five hundred calories." George walked back over to the two of them, with his arms immediately wrapping around her small body.

"Yeah? Well I don't need to hear you brag about your consistency, Mr Consistency."

"Are you sure about that?" George faked a gasp as he found himself staring at the beautiful woman that was beneath him.

"Fact."

Tala giggled and laughed at the amused and offended face that the Russell boy had pulled, before he pressed a soft kiss to her cheek.

She was very happy to have decided to join them at a race for the first time since Dakila's death.

She just hoped that she could do it more often, because she really wanted to be the supportive best friend to them that she used to be.

She just wanted the pain of her brothers death to go away.
