After Sebastian laid you in bed, Ciel sat at his desk, glaring at Sebastian who was standing in front of Ciel's desk. "Well?" Ciel asked. "I heard her scream and I ran to help her. I waited and heard the conversation she had with Claude," Ciel's jaw tightened slightly. Sebastian went over how Claude and Alois planned all of this and that you were innocent. "and then her father showed up." "Then what?" Ciel asked, a bit softer this time. "Her father took her back to her old house and whipped her a few times before I was sure I could save her. Then she tried to kill her father but he stabbed her before she could stab him." Ciel hesitated. "So...What did you do with her father?" Sebastian's eyes flickered down and quickly back up. "He's tied up in the basement." Ciel's mouth threatened to drop open but he held it shut. 
          "We will wait until she is better, then let her decide." Sebastian's face stayed the same. "What about Claude?" Ciel sighed. "There's not much we can do besides go to the queen...." Ciel thought for a moment, the his face lit up like the sun. "We'll throw a ball." Sebastian was confused. "A ball, Sir?" Ciel stood and looked out the window. "Yes. We'll invite him and his butler to a costume ball. Then we'll deal with him afterwards. Besides," Ciel turned around. "it's her birthday in 2 days isn't it?" Sebastian smiled. "I shall begin preparations immediately."

    You woke up to a sharp pain in your side. You shut your eyes tightly, trying to ignore it. 'Well at least I'm alive...but I have no one I can trust...' Some one knocked on the door. "Come in." Ciel stood in the door way. You sat up slowly, wincing. "Please," Ciel said, walking over to you, "don't get up." You settled back against the pillow. "Look, Ciel....I'm sor-" "Don't say your sorry. I'm the one who should be sorry. I should have known." Ciel gently touched your hand. "You've changed... Your not the same person you used to be." Tears came to your eyes so you bit your lip.  He rummaged in his pocket. "I have something for you." He pulled out a box. Your heart stopped. He opened it and you saw a beautiful necklace inside. The necklace had a tiny rose encased in the glass. (www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.o...)
You gasped. "It's beautiful!" You looked at it but shut the box. "I-I can't accept this..." Ciel wouldn't take the box back. "I want you to have it. Just don't let Sebastian know where you got it." You giggled. "Thank you Ciel...For everything." He finally smiled. 'Is this really Ciel? He never smiles!' You smiled back. Sebastian came in the door just as you shoved the box under your pillow. "(F/n)! Your awake!" You were still smiling. "What?" Sebastian asked, confused. "Nothing."  'I hope he didn't see that necklace...'
