CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

HALA'S P.O.V

Isn't it amazing how life is one thing and then in an instant, it becomes another? Like here I am, Hala Summers the girl who used to live a normal life, crushing on a tumblr famous guy. But now I've ended up being here, watching the person I love be put on a stretcher and be carried into the ambulance.

Who would of thought one little mistake can change everything in seconds.

- 3 HOURS BEFORE THE ACCIDENT -

"So he said that he was in love with you?" Danielle asked in a hushed whisper. I nodded my head as I put my hair up in a bun. 

She looked at me in disbelief. "Wow."

After Chris admitted his feelings, I wouldn't exactly say I said something. It was more like a stutter and a cowardly run, and to be honest I didn't feel the same way. I just don't want to say anything that would hurt his feelings. 

"Well?"

I turn and face her. "Well what?"

"Do you like him or not?!" I looked at her, taken back.

"No!" I whispered. 

"Are you sure?"

I sighed and took a seat on the bed. "Yes." I lay myself back on the bed and close my eyes. 

"I just miss him, I miss Sean. I miss being with him." I don't even remember the last time I was with him as a girlfriend. 

"And we'll get him back, for sure." Danielle said as she took a seat next to me. I was sick of waiting around, it's been almost a month of this madness and I couldn't wait for this chaos to be over. A soft, yet eager knock on the door interrupted my thoughts.

"Are you guys ready?" Chris asked from the other side.

"Yeah," I called out. "We'll be out in a second." I stood up and zipped up my black hoodie and grabbed the mask off the shelf.

"Are you ready?" Danielle sighed and nodded.

It's time to take Katrina down.

We pulled up by the side not to far from the old warehouse where the meeting was being held. Sean had texted me not to long ago, telling us that the meeting was starting in 10 minutes. I pulled the hood over my head and placed the mask on my face. I was set. Bulletproof vest and tranquilizers, that's really all I needed.

All three of us ran towards the warehouse and once we got to the entrance, we casually walked in. People with masks and black hoodies were all gathering up in the center of the room. I looked around the room for Sean. Is he dressed up? Or..?

Wait, of course he's dressed up. I looked over to my right to find one of the masked people staring at me. I shifted uncomfortably, I didn't even know if that was Sean or not. I looked back at the person and it was still staring at me. This is god damn creepy. It then moved towards me and stood next to me, not making any eye contact anymore.

Katrina then entered the warehouse, catching every ones attention. Her loud heels clicking on the concrete as she made her way in.

"Alright why are we having this meeting?" She asked.

A person stepped out from the crowd and pulled his hood off. He wore no mask, he had jet black hair and bright green eyes. Who is this guy? He shoved his hands into his pocket and stepped closer towards Katrina.

"Do you actually think all of this is over?"

Katrina raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

"You're telling me, that there wasn't a moment where you asked yourself, how you had gotten Sean back so easily?" Katrina stayed silent, so the guy continued.
"They're planning something behind our backs and they are waiting for the moment to take," he points to her. "YOU down."

Katrina ran her hands through her hair. "That can't be true."

The guy laughed. "You actually think Sean would forgive you after you cheated on him," he took a step forward before continuing. "With me."

My eyes went wide and as if on que, the person next to me jabbed me in the side. I squealed but quickly covered it up with a cough. I glared at the person but soon as my eyes made contact with theirs, I instantly recognized them.

"Sean?" I whispered.

He slowly nodded and tilted his head down. I looked down to see his hand placed on the tranquilzer that was on his hip. As soon as Sean shoots we all attack. We both faced the front again. In literally three seconds, chaos was going to start and I was ready. This is it.

"Now." I whispered.

Sean instantly grabbed the tranquilizer and shot the guy in the shoulder. It stung him and knocked him over onto the side. Chris and Danielle grabbed the people that were next to them and shot them, letting them pass out onto the ground. I elbowed the girl that ran at me and tripped her, knocking her out cold. We all ripped our masks off and pulled our hoodies down.

"Are you freaking kidding me?!" I turned and looked at Sean who was glaring at Katrina. He ripped off the hoodie and threw it onto the ground.

"That was Tyler? That was the god damn guy you cheated on me with?!" Katrina was speechless, I was speechless. That was the guy that basically started this mess.

My thoughts were interrupted by a fist making contact with my side.

"Ow!" I yelped as I tumbled onto the ground. I glared at the girl who had a smirk on her face before swinging my legs and knocking her off her feet. Bulls-eye.

I got up off the ground and pulled my tranquilizer out and began shooting. I looked over to Sean to find him fighting off some other guy. But where's Katrina? I looked around the area and found her making a run for it. Oh hell no. I dashed after her and almost immediately caught up to her. This training did come in handy.

I jumped forward and tackled her down to the ground. She began screaming and kicking, knocking me off of her in the process.

"You are probably the most annoying bitch around." She growled. We were now both standing on her feet, sending death glares at each other.

I shrugged. "What can I say? Beautiful, intelligent, top class hottie. Why thank you Katrina, that really means a lot."

She stared at me. "What?"

"Isn't that what bitch stands for?"

She rolled her eyes before lunging at me. I quickly dodged her and kicked her down to the ground. "So maybe your team isn't as dumb as you." I told her. She slowly got back up to her feet and sent me a murderous glare.

"But I'm not as dumb as you."

I rolled my eyes. "And what's that suppose to mean?"

"You really think Sean is interested in you? You're a pathetic and disgusting little brat, who doesn't know when to stop." Ouch.

"I'm lost. I thought we were talking about me, not you."

Katrina clenched her fist and swung it right at my face. This time I didn't even see this one coming. Her fist hit me square in the jaw, sending me stumbling back. I wiped my the cut on my lips before taking my own fist and punching her as hard as I could, and to my luck it knocked her out cold.

I looked up, the whole team was knocked out. The only people left standing was the four of us. We did it, we finally did it.

THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V

Hala grinned and stepped away from Katrina's passed out self. She had never felt so happy in her life, all this mess was finally over.

"Call the cops." Hala called out to Danielle. Danielle pulled her phone out and began dialing with Chris by her side.

Hala looked over at Sean, a smile beginning to grow on her face as he started rushing his way over to her. While the both of them waited to embrace one another, they hadn't noticed Katrina.

Katrina began to stir. She groaned and slowly opened her eyes, sliding her hands around her surroundings until her hand hit the cold metal of a gun. She breathed out heavily and slowly sat up so that she was on her knees. Her vision was blurry and her hands were wobbly. She squinted in front of her and got a figure of a girl and with that, she held the gun up towards it and placed her finger on the trigger.

Sean grabbed Hala and pulled her into his arms, holding onto her as tightly as he could. He pulled away and rested his forehead on her as he cupped her cheeks.

"I love you, I love you, I love you." He said, continuously as he kissed every inch of her face. He pulled her back into his arms and held onto her like his life depended on it.

But suddenly, the sound of a gun shot made everyone jump back to reality.

HALA'S P.O.V

I jumped in surprise at the loud sound but still held onto Sean. His grip began to loosen around me. I pulled away and looked up at him. His eyes were watering slightly, and his nose began to bleed slightly.

"Sean?" I said in a panicked voice. I looked down, only to find blood seeping through his shirt around his chest. He looked at me before stumbling. I grabbed him and fell to the ground with him. No, no, no this can't be happening.

I looked up to see Katrina staring at the scene in horror as the gun fell right out of her grip. I heard the sound of sirens coming from a distance and Danielle and Chris rushed out to wave them in. I looked back down at Sean, he was breathing heavily while his eyes scanned everywhere.

"Sean," I moved my hand and caressed his cheek. "Sean, look at me." His hands landed on mine, pure horror was filled in them. Tears began to stream down my face as he gripped my hand.

"It's ok..ay," he smiled softly. "It's okay." I squeezed his hand tightly.

"No it's not." I told him. The ambulance and cops finally arrived.

It was like everything was happening in slow motion. I was pulled away from Sean as the medics placed him on a stretcher and Katrina was pulled up to her feet and handcuffed.

I ran towards Sean but a paramedic held me back.

"Sorry mam, but the ambulance is full."

I tried to push forward. "I need to see him." I begged. The medic pushed me back gently and shook his head before climbing into the ambulance. I ran forward but someone caught me by my waist.

"NO PLEASE! LET ME GO, I NEED TO SEE HIM." I screamed.

"Hala! Calm down!" Chris yelled as he pulled me away from the ambulance. I turned around and faced him. I was sobbing at this point.

"Please, please, please don't do this. Let me go," I struggled to rip my arms away from Chris' grip. "Let me go."

"Hala no."

Danielle came and pulled me into her arms. "We'll follow the ambulance don't worry." She said. I took a deep breath and stopped struggling.

It was just one little action that caused this. If we hadn't hugged, he wouldn't of gotten shot. It would of been me instead.
