TWO

- HALA'S POINT OF VIEW -

We were sitting in the cafeteria, talking, laughing, and fooling around. That's when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and looked to see that I've gotten a text from my mom. Why is she texting me now? I confusingly opened up the text.

Do you want to go to Bayshore with me after school? I have to return something

My eyes grew big and I jumped out of my seat.

"YES! HALLELUJAH!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Everyone in the cafeteria stopped chatting and looked towards me. I'm making way too many mistakes today. I awkwardly sat back down.

Danielle, Aria, and Emma all gave me weird looks. "What was that about?" Danielle asked.

"I'M GOING TO BAYSHORE!" I exclaimed.

"Again?!?!" They all said in sync.

I rolled my eyes. "It's not like I go that much."

"That MUCH?! What are you even talking about? You go almost EVERYDAY!" Aria said in shock.

"Yup, we might as well call you a Shopaholic." Emma laughed.

I laughed. "Fine fine, I guess you could say that."

I texted my mom back, telling her yes and shoved my phone back into my pocket. What if I ended up bumping into Sean at the mall? What if I see him in one of the stores? But who am I kidding, of course that wouldn't happen, I thought this every time I go there and not once did I bump into him. My thoughts were interrupted.

"You know the Apple Store is in Bayshore now." Danielle said.

"Really? I haven't actually been there before."

She laughed, "Don't worry, I haven't either."

"I've been there before." Emma stated. I rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out at her.

The bell rang and it was time to head back to class.

"Dani, just go say bye and hug him, you're not going to see him for a week!" I told her.

Nate was leaving for a week, so he won't be in school, and Danielle will most likely be all depressed if she doesn't say bye or at least give him a hug.

"But-"

I cut her off, "No buts, just go." I lightly shoved her towards him.

She turned back at me with a pleading look, "Please come?"

I gave her an 'are you serious' look, and all she did was nod. I sighed and agreed before walking with her towards Nate. I saw that he was about to leave, so Danielle yelled out his name.

"Nate!!"

He turned around in surprise but smiled once he realized it was her. "Hey."

"Hi..." Danielle said quietly. "Um sorry, I just you know...wanted to say bye." She opened up her arms. He realized what she was doing and grinned widely. They both wrapped their arms around each other, and let me tell you it was the cutest thing.

"Awwwh." Danielle and I turned to see Aria, Emma, and a bunch of Nate's friends. She started to blush, so she grabbed my hand and pulled me outside.

"Awh that was cute." I said, a smirk playing at my lips.

She turned even redder, "stop it, he was just being friendly." She smiled.

"Yeah okay, like I'm gonna believe that. He definitely liked it."

She rolled her eyes, "Oh whatever you say.." A car honked loudly from behind us.

I jumped and turned to see my mom calling me over. I smiled.

"Well there's my ride, I'll see you tomorrow." I told Danielle, and gave her a hug.

I jogged over to the car and climbed in. "Hi."

"Hey sweetie, how was your day?"

"Oh you know same ole' same ole'. But I did get excited when you texted me."

She laughed, "how do you still get excited about going to the mall? I thought you'd be tired of it by now."

I stared at her in shock, "The mall is my LIFE! You know I can't live without it."

"Alright, whatever you say." She laughed, and began to drive.

We finally arrived at the mall. We headed to the 2nd floor, and stopped by the stairs.

"Alright you can walk around if you'd like, while I go return this." She said.

I smiled. "Sound's good to me."

"Okay. AND don't get into any trouble, & call me if you need anything."

I laughed. "You know I wouldn't." And with that, we both went our separate ways.

After looking around in a few stores and buying a couple of things, I decided to go check out that new Apple Store the girls were talking about. I headed down to the first floor to go look for it, but it wasn't so hard to find because it was the big, bright, white store.

I walked in, seeing tables and shelves full of iPads, iPods, Macbooks, and well all the Apple products. A typical Apple Store. They had some of the products set out for people to try. At the back of the store were cash registers, and all the employees here were all wearing blue shirts. I smiled, wow this was organized and bigger than I expected. I was looking at the Macbooks, when I turned around and accidentally collided into someone else.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" I apologized. So embarrassing.

"It's okay." A deep voice said.

Where have I heard that voice before? I glanced up to see who I had ran into and my heart almost jumped out of my chest.

Sean O'Donnell was standing there, smiling down at me.
