THIRTEEN

- HALA'S POINT OF VIEW -

My eyes fluttered open to the sound of someone knocking on the door. I sat up and stretched, looking around. I realized I had fallen asleep on the couch after I had come back. I stood up, walking over to the door and once I opened it, I saw a very angry and sad, yet confused Sean.

"Sean...? What are you doing here?" Concern filling my voice. He looked at me in the eyes. I saw in his eyes that he was broken and not to mention, furious.

"Sean." I said as I walked a little closer. He then broke down. He fell to his knees, covering his face with his hands.

"What's wrong?!" I asked, kneeling in front of him.

"She cheated. I can't. I just can't!!" He said, getting up with tears coming down his face. That little troll! She cheated! He walked into the house. He was very red. His hands kept going threw his hair in total heartbreak. I was going to cry as well. I closed the door quietly, walking up behind him and placing my hand on his shoulder.

"Sean. Please. Everything is going to be okay." I said calmly.

"No it's not! My own girlfriend cheated Hala! She cheated! She-she cheated." He said sitting down on the couch, not being able to take it. I sighed and sat next to him, pulling him into a hug. He cried into my shoulder. I began rubbing his back.

"Shhh." I said, trying to calm him down a bit. The sight of him like this, made my heart break. I didn't know what else to do but just let him cry into my shoulder.

After a while he had finally calmed down. He pulled back from the hug and looked into my eyes.

"Thank you.." He whispered.

I raised an eyebrow. "For what?"

He smiled a little. "For being here for me."

"You're welcome."

He chuckled a little, but stopped as his eyes locked on mine. We both stared at each other for who knows how long. And that's when I realized he was beginning to lean in. I then found myself leaning in as well. Our lips were inches apart and the next thing I knew we,

*BANG*BANG*BANG*

We both jumped apart. I put my hand over my chest. The person kept banging on my door.

"HOLY, CALM YOUR HORSES! I'M COMING!" I yelled. I already had a feeling I knew who it was. Sean laughed. I looked at him and smiled.

"Why don't you go into the kitchen and get some water?" I told him.

"Yea, good idea." He got up and went into the kitchen. I walked over to the door and opened it, revealing a furious looking Katrina. I knew it.

"You." She sneered, pointing a finger to me.

I laughed. "Me? I think it's you. What do you want?" I rudely asked.

She glared at me. "You told him didn't you?!"

"Excuse me?" I said, raising an eyebrow. What the hell was she talking about?

"You told Sean I was cheating on him!" She exclaimed.

"I didn't even know. You're a stupid ass for doing it anyways!"

"You listen-" She began but was cut off.

"Hala? Who's that." Sean yelled from the kitchen.

"Oh, just a friend!" I yelled back. I walked outside and shut the door.

"What the hell is he doing here?" She asked in shock.

"He came here because of you! You broke his heart Katrina. He broke down and started crying at my front step, so I was here for him. You messed up so deal with it. Just leave." I said angrily.

She looked taken back, but then pulled herself together. "Look, you listen here you little shit. You have no chance with him, you've got no talent and not even the looks. With a face like yours, I wish I was blind." She did not just say that.

I rolled my eyes. "Well that's a shame. Can I borrow yours then? My arse is on holiday." She glared at me, her fist clenching by her sides. She raised her hand and jammed her manicured finger at my shoulder.

"You better not get lovey dovey with him, or else." Is she really threatening me?

I chuckled. "Or else what?"

She smirked. "Or I'll make your life miserable." Pathetic.

I laughed and crossed my arms. "Oh I'm so scared."

She leaned up to my ear and whispered. "You will be." She then walked away and got back into her car before driving away.

I rolled my eyes and walked back into the house. I looked up to see Sean standing there with a concerned expression.

"Everything okay?"

"Everything's fine." I lied.

Whatever Katrina was up to, I wasn't going to let Sean get involved.
