Ben's POV
I can't believe another guy is taking her to dinner. I shouldn't be worried right?
I can trust Lilly, right?
I hope so.
I really love her. But somehow, I'm gonna fuck this up.
I'll definitely fuck it up.
I shouldn't worry about this.
I love Lilly, she loves me. We're happy.
I think.
Anyway, Tomorrow is my debut as Crutchie, I'll be on all for him all week. That's pretty exciting!
Other than that, things have been pretty dull. For me, anyway.

In just a few hours, I'll see Ben! Steph is picking up Betsy and I at the airport and I can't wait to see her!
I can't wait to see Ben.
Betsy and I watched Waitress on the plane. I heard they're making a musical adaptation. Betsy would be the perfect Jenna! I'd like to play Dawn.
I probably should've started writing sooner, our plane is landing.

I can't wait to see him.
When I get nervous I fiddle around with the necklace he gave me, so I'm sure you can guess what I'm doing right now.
I miss him so much.
I say that a lot.
"Lilly!!"Stephanie saw us first.
"Steph!" I ran and gave her a big hug.
"I missed you so much!" I told her.
"Awww I missed you too!"
"Hate to break this up, but hi I'm Betsy"
"Hi! I'm Steph, nice to meet you!"
The two hit it off right away.
"So Lil' are you excited to play Katherine again?"
"Of course! But I'm more excited to see Ben"
"Of course you are." Is it possible to give someone a sarcastic look? Cause that's the look Steph gave Betsy.
To kill time, we went shopping at a near by mall.
"Sooooo." I leaned towards Steph.
"Anyone special in your life?"
"Maybe." I almost choked on my drink!
"Spill." Betsy and I closed in on her.
"Wel-" she was interrupted by my ringtone.
"Shit! It's Ben! Should I answer?"
"NO!" The girls said in unison.
"But won't he be upset?"
"Probably, but it'll all be worth it tonight!"
"Thats true" I shoved my phone into my backpack and didn't think much about it. Little did I know, Ben would.

Ben's POV
After my third attempt to call her today, I hear her voicemail.
Where could she be?
"Did she answer?" Josh asked  while simultaneously looking for snacks.
"No" I huffed, "she hasn't answered any of my texts or calls."
"I'm sure she has a reason."
"Yeah, shes probably with that guy from the Frozen Lab."
"Oooooo jealousy. What's his name?"
"Um, Okieriete I think."
"No way! The guy from Hamilton?!"
"The guy from Hamilton?"
"He plays Hercules Mulligan in Hamilton!"
That's what I'm up against. A guy from Hamilton.
Fuck.

Lilly's POV
It's almost time for the show!
I'm in Katherine's costume, ready to go on.
Thankfully I was able to rehearse with everyone before Ben got to the stage.
I was called at 12:00,
He was called at 3:00.
It worked out perfectly!
Hopefully he doesn't suspect anything, but I feel bad that I've been ducking his calls.
Just in case, I post a quick picture from last night. Last night, after Betsy and I finished our laundry, the Frozen cast went out for dinner and I had a blast!
I'm definitely gonna miss them, but I can't wait to perform on Broadway with some of them!The picture I posted was with Betsy, Oak and my favorite mini me, Mattea Conforti.
Steph was helping me get ready in secret, meanwhile Betsy somehow snagged a front row seat at the last minute. I really wonder how she did that. Well, I'll have to ask her after the show. Suddenly, thee was a knock on the dressing room door.
"Hey, it's Ben, uh, Steph can we talk?"
Shit
"Yeah sure, I'll meet you in your dressing room, I just have to finish getting in my costume."
"Okay, see you in a bit."
The feet I saw underneath the door, disappeared prompting me to let out a sigh of relief. Steph was already in her costume, just in case something like this happened.
"Alright, I'll be right back, you know the drill."
I nodded. "Can you just tell me what he wanted when you come back? He kinda sounded upset."
"Of course." And just like that she left.

Ben's POV
I heard a gentle knock on Josh and I's dressing room door.
"Hey, you said you wanted to talk?"
"Yeah,  it's about Lilly. You two are close, right?"
"Right"
"And you talk a lot, right?"
"Right. Is this going anywhere?"
"I'm going somewhere with this I swear." My tone intensified.
"Alright,alright. Keep going."
"Has she ever mentioned a guy named Oak to you?"
She was a bit hesitant.
Each second that was filled with silence, filled me with relief.                                                                                                      
"Um I don't think so. Wait how does she know him?"
"From the Frozen Lab."
"Oh, wait! She has mentioned him before!"
Fuck
"Wait, why? Is somebody jealous?"
"Me? Jealous? Whaaaaaatttttt? Why is it obvious?"
Steph laughed, "a little."
Just then our wonderful stagemanager (I'm making them up) Becca walked in, "Places!"
"I should probably fix my makeup, but don't worry Ben, Lilly loves you. And only you."
I gave her a small smile, and watched her leave.
I know Lilly loves me, but I'm still scared.
Well, I need to get in places since I'm on as Crutchie tonight.

Lilly's POV
Becca just called places, and Stephanie quickly gets out of her costume.
"So what'd he talk to you about?"
"where I keep my bacon. Apparently Josh was particularly annoying today."
"Sounds like Josh."
"So I'll be sitting in the front row, and the cast is just about to start our little opening ritual. Are you gonna surprise Ben there?"
"Yeah, I think I will." I smiled.
"Break a leg Lil!"
"Thanks Steph! See you after the show!"
I quickly rushed to the stage where the whole cast was in a huddle.
"Hey Josh, where's Steph?"
Josh saw me and before he said anything I answered, "Oh she's sitting in the front row, waiting for the show to start."
"Lilly!"
"Miss me?"
Ben ran towards me and lifted me into a big hug.
"I missed you so much!"
"I know you did, now go into the places, I'll kiss you later." I winked and beckoned to Dan who was waiting on the metal thingy.
"Damn. I love you." Ben called as he walked up the steps.
"Love you too!" I walked to my spot in the wings,ready to start the show.

I finally updated! Yay!
Sorry for the delay in updates, school is stressful and my schools musical is starting! We're doing Newsies and that's gonna be a blast!
