My Dearest Aria,

You know I would never forget about you in college. Do you think I would use stamps and write letters daily to just anyone? Definitely not! You're the most amazing, incredible person I've ever met and I can't believe that I actually get to call you mine.

I am excited for college, though. It's going to be so different and cool to be on my own, you know? It's like no one will be there to tell me what time to come home, no parents to enforce chores, nothing like that. I won't be a pig, but I won't be a neat freak, you know? If you ever come to visit me, I'll just have to clean up the dorm real nice.

But I have a funny story! I was going to tell you on the phone the other night but you were tired and I didn't want to tell you if you were falling asleep. SO, my cousin Cray, who you met when you visited, decided it would be a great idea to try and get into a club with a fake I.D. the other night. Naturally he got caught, and instead of telling the cops to call his mom, he told them to call me! So I had to fake this super high pitched voice on the phone and tell the cops that "my son" was definitely responsible and that this was something that he would be punished for at home. They were really chill cops and just let him go with a warning, but it was crazy! He tried to get into three more clubs after that and only got caught at the last one. It doesn't sound as funny written out like this, but trust me, it was awesome!

And I agree about the Emily thing. She's been kinda weird lately and seems a little off, like she's been a little clingy. Don't worry, you're not crazy at all! I'm trying to back off a little bit with her and talking to her, I mean she is one of my best friends, but I don't want her to get the wrong idea—she knows we're dating and I don't think she would be stupid enough to try anything. She knows you would fly down here and beat her up immediately!

So, I hope that everything is going well in Virginia! It's super cool that Sydney's still at JMU with Connor, I know how much you love her! I wish I had siblings, but I mean it's chill being an only child. I'll have to come visit sometime and the four of us can double date!

Also, don't forget—I'll keep writing to you, even if you don't want me to! Remember, nothing can come inbetween us, I promise!
