Khushi left the Gupta house with her head held high but deep down she was hurt about what Payal said.

And she only felt sorry for Payal because very soon she will be dragged into Akash's stupidity.

Her reverie was broken by the honk of a car of her Uber driver.

She then entered the car and closed her eyes remembering the revelation at the temple.

Flashback begins.

Khushi stood up and marched up to Arnav and started hitting his chest.

"Why did you do this to me Arnavji..... Why!? " Khushi cried and Arnav grabbed her arms and looked straight into her eyes and yelled.

"It's because I love you dammit. "

Khushi was shocked at the revelation and both stared at each other for a whole minute.

"I was scared you will leave me like you said to Payal, your mother and aunt. " Arnav said in a soft voice and Khushi was shocked he heard his conversation with Payal, Garima and Madhumati and she began to panic.

"Believe me Arnavji..... I never knew Shyam was Anjali's husband. " Khushi cried with her hands folded.

"I believe you Khushi..... I hear his confession of his love for you when you were on the terrace and how you defended Anjali. " Arnav revealed and Khushi was again shocked because this is the first time he has heard Arnav address Anjali as Anjali and not di. "In fact I found about Shyam two days after you hugged me and revealed you broke your engagement...... That day I was so happy that you did but also angry at him not knowing he was my brother in law..... A few minutes after that I received this text message." So I asked Aman to find out who he was and lo and behold it was Shyam.... I didn't want to believe it but then Aman had no reason to lie.... I wanted to march home and kill him but I thought of Anjali and decided we needed more evidence to expose him ..... So I pretended not to know until Aman and Mr Roy brought me all the evidence this evening. " Arnav concluded.

"Am sorry...... I tried to tell Anjaliji but her nuptial necklace broke and she almost had a panic attack which scared me..... That's why I kept quiet and I swear to you I didn't meet Shyam at the terrace on my own...... I was looking for you when I saw a message on the mirror asking me to meet you on the terrace and I believed it thinking it was you. " Khushi said and Arnav wiped her wet cheeks with his thumbs.

"I also saw the message and thought it was you that how I got to the terrace and saw and heard everything...... I also saw how broken you were and you rushed out of there to Payal's dressing room and i followed you..... And that's where I heard you telling Payal to tell Akash and the family the truth but Garima and buaji taunted you and you said you will leave forever after the wedding...... I panicked because I realized over the previous weeks that I love you...... At the very moment I also got a text from Aman to meet him at my study because he had something to show me...... And it was the sad reality of my life. " Arnav said and Khushi looked up confused by what he meant by sad reality of his life.

"Armavji..... What do you mean? " Khushi asked and Arnav shook his head and moved away from Khushi.

She turned Aman and asked.

"Aman......What did you find? "

"We found out that the Raizadas weren't who the claims to be..... Anjali is the daughter of Anant Malik and his lover and they both daughter and father were responsible for a life threatening accident Arnav met over four year ago. " Khushi gasped in shock  that the forever angelic and sweet Anjali is capable of attempted murder and then it now made sense to Khushi why Arnav called her Anjali and not di. " The story goes like this..... Anant was a womanizer and an alcoholic because of his mother's over pampering....... But his brother Arnav's father was different..... He was very kind, caring and hardworking...... Arvind and Ratna who happens to be Arnav's parents have been married for four years without any child.....  A woman came to Sheesh Mahal pregnant and demanding for money or else she will expose Anant Malik of getting her pregnant and leaving her...... To avoid any scandal Arvind made a deal with the woman to give her money in exchange for her silent and she giving the baby to Ratna and him and she being the gold digger she was agreed..... When the incident occurred Ratna was out of town and when she came back Arvind told her and she agreed with her husband to raise the child as theirs and so they came up with a plan to make Ratna pretend she was pregnant and when the woman gives birth it will seem like Ratna was the one who gave birth..... This was known only by Anant, Arvind, Subhadra Malik, the grandmother of Arnav and Ratna.......Ratna refused to meet the woman because she was disgusted about how she was willing to trade her daughter for money...... She gave birth to a girl who happens to be Anjali and Arvind and Ratna loved her like their own...... Fours years later Arnav was born and they were all happy until Arnav's mother took her life on the wedding day of Anjali and at that time Arnav was just fourteen years old and all because of a misunderstanding. " Aman revealed and Khushi asked in shock.

"What do you mean by a misunderstanding? "

"It was all a misunderstanding...... You see the woman who gave up Anjali has spent all the large amount of money Arvind gave her and was back for more but Anant didn't have it because his business collapsed and he was now dependent on his brother who refused to help him...... So to take revenge for refusing to give him money....... He planned with the lady to frame Arvind as the one who impregnated her and Arvind was so shocked to react because it was a perfectly framed lie and Ratna who never meet the woman believed her and run away and shoot herself in the head...... Arvind who loved her so much blamed himself for her death because his inability to prove himself innocent..... So he also took his life that very day. " Khushi gasped in shock hearing how Arnav lost both his parent because of his uncle's greed. "Taking advantage of that Anant made everyone believe his brother was indeed a womanizer and everyone believed him after all dead men tell no tales..... That day Anjali's marriage was called off and after the burial of Arvind and Ratna...... Anant kicked them out..... Not caring Anjali was his daughter"

"And Nani took them in after that. " Khushi concluded because she knew about some of the story.

"But how did you find out all this? " Khushi asked.

"The detective we hired to follow Shyam made a shocking discovery....... Anjali had found out that her father was Anant five years ago and he somehow convinced her Arvind and Ratna snatched her from him and out of anger she joined forces with Anant to kill Arnav and take his properties...... So they hired a hitman to finish Arnav off but it failed because Arnav survived and out of anger Anant killed the hit man..... The hitman suspecting this gave his friend all the evidence against Anant and Anjali without their knowledge before he was killed...... And that friend happens to be Shyam Manohar Jha.... Shyam then blackmailed them and made a deal with them...... And the deal was that Anjali will marry Shyam and both having no other choice agreed..... And that's why Anjali never wanted a background check done on Shyam..... His so called lawyer career was all fake..... And we were able to find all this out after we felt suspicious of Shyam's relationship with Anant and we kidnapped Anant and injected him with a truth serum and he told us all the hidden truth which includes their second attempt on Arnav's life but they stopped because when Arnav had his accident...... The stocks of AR went down and they company almost went bankrupt." Aman revealed.

Mr Roy moved closer to Khushi and continued.

"And that's not all my dear. " Khushi who was crying by now looked up to Mr Roy. "Akash also betrayed him by stealing company designs and selling it to rival companies.... He is a chameleon....... I suspect he has always beeen jealous of Arnav and wanted h to fail but Arnav always bounced back" Mr Roy concluded and showed Khushi the documents of Akash's frauds which was also discovered that very day.

Khushi rushed up to Arnav and looked him in the eyes and hugged him and both cried in each other's arms.

"They all betrayed me Khushi...... I love them and was willing to do anything for them but all of them only love my money and not me..... It's only you, Aman and Mr Roy who love me....... I hate that father and daughter duo....... They made me hate my Papa....... Am a horrible son Khushi....... Am a horrible man. " Arnav cried and Khushi broke the hug.

"Cry all you want Arnavji....... An not going to stop you." Khushi said while looking into his eyes.

Arnav then wiped his tears and held Khushi's hand and turned to Aman and Mr Roy.

"It's time for all of them to pay for what they did to me...... But I will need your help. " Arnav said and Aman asked him to count him in and so did Mr Roy and Khushi.

Flashback ends.

Khushi opened her eyes to see the car entering the house and she saw Aman's car and immediately knew he wasn't lone.

She paid for her fare and entered the house only to find Arnav, Aman and Mr Roy in the hallway and they all looked up and smiled at her.

She moved closer and sat beside Arnav.

"It's good that Mr Roy is here..... And Arnavji..... This is for you. " Khushi said and handed a file and sketch books to a confused Arnav.

Arnav opened the sketch book first to find beautiful designs both modern and Indian wears. He was amazed by it and knew even he couldn't match up to Khushi who was just and amateur.

He then placed it on the center table and opened the other file and it was a bank statement receipt and bonds and shares worth millions of dollars.
And he looked up to Khushi in shock and confusion.

"You lost everything because of me....... So I want to give you my inheritance which I got a few days back....... These sketches can be used to start a new company if you want to and please don't say no..... You are my husband and everything I own belongs to you as well. " Khushi said to a shocked Arnav and then turned to Mr Roy. "Mr Roy....... Please can you make I and Arnav joint owners of my inheritance? "

Mr Roy snatched the file from the hands of a shocked Arnav and was surprised to see it content and smiled.

"I can change the documents to make you and Arnav  joint owners but it's not needed. " Mr Roy said breaking Arnav's reverie and making Khushi frown.

Arnav turned to Khushi and held her hand and looked straight into her eyes.

"Khushi..... Do you trust me so much that you are willing to give me your inheritance? " Arnav asked and Khushi nodded with a smile and Arnav smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Thank you so much but it's not needed Khushi as Mr Roy said. " Khushi frown when Arnav said that and was about to retort when Arnav hushed her up. " Thanks for trusting me Khushi but this money is your and I didn't lost everything like you thought. " This confused Khushi.

"But Akash made you sign all of your properties to his name. " Khushi said and Arnav smiled.

"Arnav may have signed everything to but if Akash uses any of the money without Arnav's signature on it he is committing fraud and that's exactly what we want him to do...... There is a clause in the change of ownership of Arnav's properties and assets with the bank he keeps his money with which states that if Arnav ever transfers his money and assets to someone else then they have to be notified by the person and Arnav himself and that will be the legitimacy of the transfer..... It was done to protect Arnav from blackmail..... The bank will approve any transaction Akash wants to trap him....... And Akash won't know he will be committing fraud and it's the perfect plan to trap him and make him go to jail for a very long time...... " Mr Roy revealed making Khushi sighed in relief . "So my dear...... You don't have to worry about Arnav because he is well protected...... But then I have to take this document and have it processed to protect you as well. " Roy concluded and Khushi nodded with a smile.

"Well now we have to get ready for the press conference..... And unfortunately for Akash, this is his first step to his failure. " Aman said and smirked devilishly.

And Arnav stood up with Khushi both went to their room and dressed up and afterwards left to AR with Aman and Mr Roy.

Delhi Hospital.

In one of the private wards layed a man in his mind twenties with heart and pulse monitors and respirators attached to his body.

This head and was wrapped in thick layers of bandages and arms and legs in a cast.

A woman with tears cascading down her cheeks moved closer to him and kissed his forehead with love. It has been his way for her for the past six months.

"Please wake up Abhi..... I miss you so much...... You have no idea how much I miss your smile and the sound of your voice and laughter......" She cried but turned serious in anger and hate for the culprit responsible for her Abhi's condition. "He will surely pay for what he did to you that I promise..... And my marriage to him is the first step to my revenge. "

The woman is revealed to be none other than Payal Gupta.

She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to find the lady who helped her save her Abhi and revealed the one behind his condition. And she is none other than Natasha the ex girlfriend of Akash.

"He will pay very dearly for what he did to us and no one will save him from our wrath. " Natasha said in pain and anger remembering what Akash did to her.

"Last night's call is just the beginning of his nightmare because he couldn't sleep after you called him up...... And it's just the beginning of his nightmares because I won't rest until he is completely destroyed." Payal exclaimed in anger and looked back at Abhishek revealing she was the one who heard the conversation.

"Be prepared Akash because now I have an ally who is eager to destroy you like I am and it's none other than the woman your are obsessed with and happens to be your wife. " Natasha thought and looked at Payal feeling sorry for her.
