Your pov:

After a bit of talking max and i fell asleep in the hospital bed together.

I was happy again. Truly happy.

All felt right again.

And this is all i need.

Adam's pov:

I fell asleep on the chair outside (y/n)'s hospital room.

I wake up and walk inside and see her and max asleep together.

She looked better but you could still tell she was ill.

The doctor says she will be fine she just needs to take it easy for a while.
That means no super hero stuff for a bit.
But i dont care as long as shes ok im fine.
Im still really upset at myself for not knowing she was depressed.

My own sister. When shes sad im sad when shes in pain so am i how did i not know she was depressed!?

I see max wake up.

"Can i talk to you?" I asked.

He nodded and laid (y/n) down without waking her and came out with me in the hall i closed her door.

"How long have you known about your powers?"

"I never even knew i had powers i swear."

"Well have you told her?"

"Not yet."

"Well youre gonna have to, youre not gonna make my sister feel bad for having powers and then not tell her that you have some of your own." I walk away,

Max's pov:

I dont even know how to accept that i have powers,

I dont even know how to accept that powers are a thing!!

Everyone had always asked the golden question.

If you had one superpower what would it be?

My answer was fly or have lazer vision.

But i dont even know what my powers do! All i know is that they saved me!

This all soo much to take in at once.

I lay back down with (y/n).

At least im sure of one thing.

I love (y/n) and i dont plan on letting go of her again.

A few hours later....

Youre pov:

I was eating a burger and some fries that max got e from the cafeteria its not as bad as i thought it would be.
Max is sitting by my bed. Watching tv,

The news:
After a metahuman attack the metaduo havent been spotted the big question is where are our heroes now?"

I felt really bad about all this now.

Adam and the doctor came in.

"Hey sis." He gave me a hug. I hugged back.

"Hey bro."

"I see youre eating again." The doctor says.

"Yea its actually pretty good." I say smiling.

"So have you told her?" Adam asked looking at max.

"I was gonna tell her after she finished eating adam take it easy she just woke up." Mas says calmly

"Yea she wouldnt be in here if she never dated you in the first place!!"  Adam yelled,

"Guys please stop fighting!" I mildly yell.

My heart monitor went a bit faster.

"Easy fellas we dont want to stress her out." The doctor says,

"Tell me what?" I asked.

"(Y/n) i recently discovered i have powers." Max says taking my hand.

I smile. "Whaaaaaaaa?"

"Yea i have powers."

"Cool! What can you do?"

"Well we took a few test while you were asleep and he can control time. Well not time itself but objects in time." The doctor says

"That would explain how he stopped the boulder." Adam says.

"As his powers grow he will be able to move things like (y/n) but with his hands, he we be able to make things simultaneously combust, and here is one you have to be reallu seriously have to be careful about.....time travel." The doctor says

"What?!" Max says

"Thats cool." Adam says smiling.

"Cool cool, soo listen doctor k. I really dont like hospitals so am i free to go home?" I asked

He sighs. "Yes you are but you have to have someone to supervise you." He says.

"Kay im staying with maxy!" I say excited.

Max smiles.

Adam frowns.

"I think you should stay with me and alesa its more of a stress free zone there," adam says,

"Guys can i talk to adam alone please?" I asked kindly.

I give max a quick kiss and he and the doctor leave.

"Adam you dont have to protect me." I say smiling.

"We talked about this in the car when i drove you home that night remember?"

"I know adam you feel bad about the past, but now we are 25 you cant protect from everything youre not dad adam. I know he broke up with me and i took a heavy toll from the break up.  But now things have changed hes realized his wrong. And hes made up for it. Ive forgiven him and so should you."

"But what of he breaks up with you again?"

"Then as my brother its your job to help me through it. At that point you have reason to protect me from max." I say smiling. "But right now everything is great."
