Chapter 22
It's time.
Time for those sorry fools to pay for what they did.
The Vampire and Werewolf Kingdoms will fall and they will all bow down to me.
"Drake! Get in here!" The scrawny human ran in and the sight of him pissed me off. His stringy hair, beads of sweat built up on his filthy skin, his shaky gaze that never met mine, and his long, nimble fingers that curled into his palms as if of their own accord. I snarled and his hunched over figured jumped, startled.
"Di-did y-y-you need s-s-s-somethin-thing, Sir?" He seemed to curl into himself with each stupid stutter that fell from his chapped lips.
"Call the witch in and post guards right outside my door. I don't trust her for a second."
"Yes, S-sir." He scuttled outside my room and the witch soon entered. She smirked and flipped her annoyingly blonde hair over her shoulder.
"Sit. I don't have time for your games. I know you are part mutt and part witch. I also know you hate them as much as I do and plus, you owe me."
"What do you want me to do?"
"Simple. I need you to..."

Moonbeam's POV
I opened the door to find Eric, panting and sweating, carrying Jake who was bloodied and injured.
Immediately, I began ordering people to get help or clear a room. I took Jake from Eric and had some pack members rush Eric to the room they prepared. He was limping and he had a few cuts. However, those were the only things I could gather from a glance.
I carried Jake to the same room as Eric and put him on a twin-sized bed on the opposite side of the room from where Eric laid. I left the room when the new Vampire doctor finally arrived. I stopped him before he could pass me and brought us nose to nose.
"If you do anything besides help them recover, I will personally remove your internal organs with my bare hands and shove them down your throat. Got it?" He nodded furiously and I let go of him. Everyone cleared a path for me as I stomped down the hallways looking for my mate.
'Ryker, where are you?' I mind-linked after turning up with nothing.
'I'm on a run. I smell some blood and I'm following the scent. Are you alright?'
'Yes, I'm alright...but my brothers aren't. Eric and Jake showed up to the castle injured, badly. I don't know where Tyler is but if you find his scent could you let me know?'
'Of course Darling. I'll be back as soon as I figure out who's blood I'm smelling.'
'Okay, thank you. Be safe and hurry back.'
I cut off the mind-link and went upstairs to the room that my brothers were being held in. I pushed the door open softly and closed it behind me as quietly as I could.
"What's the deal Doc?" He turned towards me, ripping off his elastic gloves and rubbed his temples.
"Well, their injuries are not consistent with a Vampire, Werewolf or any direct contact." I growled and took a step towards the doctor.
"Don't feed me bull. I've had it up to here with that shit so you either tell me what could have happened or you leave...now."
"Okay. Yes. Well, it seems your brothers were ambushed but they weren't in physical combat with anyone. Their injuries were received by being thrown against large, sturdy objects. For example, trees, buildings, the ground or anything that doesn't break easily. How they were thrown...I'm not quite sure." I nodded and walked to Eric's bed where he was starting to wake up.
"Hey Eric. How are you doing bro?" He groaned and squinted at me.
"Really? I've just been ambushed by witches and you decide to question me the second I begin to show signs of life?" I smiled softly at him and shook my head.
"You're right. Go back to sleep. You need to rest."
"Thank you! Finally! Now, don't bother me. I may have come to see you but now that I have...I'm going back to bed." I chuckled as his snores filled the dimly lit room.
'I guess I'll just have to go inside their minds and see what happened for myself.'
"Help me recollect and recover this information, please." The blue mist started to roll in and it crawled up the legs of the beds. It solidified around Eric and Jake's heads and I closed my eyes.
They were running in their wolf form. They were beautiful and it was easy to tell from a glance that they were very powerful. Tyler's fur was a bleach blonde white, Eric's was chestnut brown and Jake's was a dirty brown. They were goofing off, bumping each other and barking at one another. Their tongues lolled out of their mouths while their ears were flopped to the side.
All of a sudden, Tyler was thrown into the air and out of sight by an invisible force. That same force threw Jake against a near by tree, the rough texture and stray branches scraping him up. Eric growled and got in a defensive stance over Jake.
Eric was thrown against a tree opposite from Jake and then lifted into the air. He was then slammed into the ground, over and over again, his head smashed against the leaves on the ground and blood began to pour. His hearing became fuzzy as did his sight. A figure walked out from behind a tree but the only thing I could make from Eric's blurry vision was that it was a woman with blonde hair.
She knelt down next to Eric's crumbled figure and even with her close proximity, I still couldn't identify her.
"You tell your darling sister that we are coming, for her, her kingdoms, her family and her mate."
I immediately pulled out of his memories and ran to find the pack. I grabbed Adis and placed both my hands on his shoulders.
"Prepare our pack, round up the Vampire warriors, call up the Werewolf kingdom to send all their warriors and meet me in the office. Make sure you get Luke. I want him at the meeting as well. You have two hours. " I was about to leave but he stopped me.
"May I ask why, Luna?" I looked into his eyes and I'm sure he could see my grief, anguish and concern.
"War has found us and they have initiated it by kidnapping my mate, Your Alpha, Ryker."

Well, it's safe to say that the action has begun.
Now, I think I'll be uploading more since it's summer and all.
Happy reading and stuff.
