The entire family members were standing there with their heads bowed down while Mowgli was looking scared as the person who showers his endless love on him was moving to and fro in the hall with blood shot red eyes, his jaw was clenched which was clearly depicting the intensity of his frustration. His muscles tensed up as he was trying to compose himself. His eyes were shooting daggers on family members. One look into his horrific eyes was enough for scaring his 9 years old son.

Shweta embraced Mowgli in her arms in order to compose her shattered grandchild. Mowgli was trying to gain his composure back but he shivered in fear after listening the yelling of his father which was not less than a poison for him.

Neil - Why the hell you guys send Avni alone ? You would have called me but no. What if she leaves me again ? ( yelled at top of his voice ) No ....no... no she can't leave me. Now she won't leave me. ( his eyes filled with tears )

Before anyone can argue, Avni came back draped in red coloured saree, looking ravishing. She was holding some shopping bags and was humming a melody but the second she entered the living room, fear engulfed her as she saw Neil standing there with rage filled eyes and the entire family's expressions were enough for telling her what's coming up next.

She gulped down a hard lump formed in her throat and stood infront of everyone. Mowgli came towards her and hugged her tightly. Avni immediately held him in her motherly warmth for composing her scared son who always fears his father's rage just the way she fears over possessive nature of Neil but at the same time she respects the love he have for her. She blames herself for converting him into an over possessive lover who fears to loose her again.

Mowgli broke the hug and Avni kissed his forehead in order to ensure him that everything is alright. She looked at Neil who was glaring her and knew what's coming in her way.

Neil held her hand and dragged her towards their room. Family members were screaming his name and were asking him to spare her but he didn't cared about their yellings as he wanted to make Avni realise that she have committed a big blunder by going out alone.

As soon as he pushed her inside the room, he closed the door and held her shoulders tightly. Avni was shivering under his grip. She so wanted to protest about the same but the guilt was eating her from inside, she knew that her decision have made him like this, he is changed and she is the reason behind this change.

Neil - Why you went out alone ? ( sternly )

No response

Neil - Why you didn't informed me ? ( his anger was rising )

No response

Neil - Why you left the tracker and your mobile at home ? ( sternly )

Avni lowered her gaze as her eyes turned glassy, her lips were quivering as he shot his back to back questions.

Neil - Answer me dammit. ( yelled at top of his voice )

He pushed her back with full force and she eventually lost her balance and was about to fall down but Neil held her hand at correct time and immediately pulled her towards himself, she crashed on his hard chest while his eyes softened seeing her glassy orbs.

He held her tightly and was checking if she got hurt.

Neil - ( cupped her face ) Are you fine ?

Avni nodded negatively while tears were flowing freely from her eyes.

Neil - Have I hurt you ? ( his eyes welled up ). Where ? ( he was checking her body for locating any injury )

Avni held his hand and placed it on the right side of her chest.
( Avni's heart is located on right side )

Avni - Here. ( pointing at her heart )

Neil's eyes were shedding tears of pain that he was suffering. Their separation have an adverse effect on his mind and now he can't afford to loose her once again.

Avni - What have you become Neil ? ( whispers ) Please forgive me for whatever I have done to you and punish me at once so that we both can live a happy peaceful life full of love where insecurities won't bother anyone. Please. ( tears flowing freely from her eyes )

Neil - No no no .... ( yelled ) you are saying this cos you want to leave me again. Right ? ( blood shot eyes )

Avni nodded negatively.

Neil - From now onwards you won't go outside alone. ( sternly ) I will accompany you wherever you will go.

Avni - But ...

Neil - No ifs and buts. ( shouted ) I don't want to loose you again. I don't want any trouble to envelope you again. You have to follow my rules. Is that clear ?

Avni didn't responded.

Neil - Is that clear ? ( yelled )

Avni nods positively.

Neil - I am having some work and I will return after 2 hours, till then I want you to stay in this room. ( sternly )

Saying this he went out and locked the door from outside, Avni banged the door as hard as she can.

Avni - Neil ... Neil open the door ... Neil ( yelled his name )

But Neil was gone, she slid against the door and sat on the floor with her face buried in her palms, she was crying her heart out. She wasn't a weak girl but seeing Neil's new persona she have become a kind of helpless. She is trying her best to make him understand her love but he is not ready to listen to her point of view. He is badly affected after their separation and now when he got her back, he wanted to captivate her in his arms so tightly so that she can't even think of leaving him but he don't know that excessive closeness equals to suffocation.

Avni is suffocating more and more with each passing day still she is standing beside him so that he can change his way of thinking,his sufferings didn't increase, she wants to heal him and his wounds but he isn't letting her in.

He is trying to keep her close but isn't realising that he is pushing her away.

She went near bed and clutched their pic lying on the side table and held it close to her heart. She sat on the floor and cried thinking about their memories and eventually slept.

After 2 hours, Neil came back and straight away went to the kitchen. Shweta saw him and decided to talk to him.

Shweta - Neil.... ( Neil cuts her off )

Neil - Mom you all have your dinner, I will cook poha for Avni. We will have dinner in our room.

Shweta - Neil listen to me...

Neil - No mom, this time I won't loose my Avni. I won't allow her to go away. So please.

Shweta didn't knew what to say as even she can't bare her son's condition.

After cooking poha for him and Avni, he went to their room and unlocked the door. The room was dark so he concluded that Avni have slept. He placed the tray aside and switched on the lights. The sight in front of him shattered his heart into several pieces. He felt pang in his heart after seeing the love of his life sleeping on the floor while clutching their photograph. He closed the door and went towards her.

He went towards her and caressed her tear stained face, he felt like crying after seeing her condition. After feeling his touch, Avni opened her eyes and saw him staring her and his eyes were having guilt for hurting her yet again.

She sat infront of him and cupped his face lovingly, no words were needed for depicting their inner turmoil. She claimed his lips into hers in order to assure him that she belongs to him, she is always there for him and most important she won't leave him alone.

The kiss was soft and full of emotions, afflict which was galloping them was reflecting in the union of their lips. Submerging themselves within each other, melting into the tender touches, they were feeling divine, they were feeling complete. Her hands were pulling his dense hairs while her lips were not leaving any inch of his mouth, his hands were roaming all across her body while he was dominating her with his love. They are each other's elixirs who complete each other with their magic. A magic that can only be felt by them.

After what felt like ages, they broke the kiss and looked into each other's orbs with utmost love and care.

Neil kept his head in her lap while she patted his head lovingly.

Neil - I am so sorry. ( crying ) I am sorry for hurting you but.... but I .... I can't loose you now ... when you left me I was so broken ... I got you back after 10 years and now I want you beside me till eternity..... ( broken voice )

Avni - You are still broken Neil. ( weak voice )

Neil looked into her eyes and immediately hugged her waist while she was caressing his back.

Hugging her, burying himself into her skin is all what he need for soothing his increased heartbeats and his insecurities that are nothing less than a nightmare for him.

He looked at her with utmost love, his arms still swaddled around her waist while his chin pressed against her chest. He was trying to find her love for him in her eyes. He was afraid that she would hate him for behaving rudely with her but she was showering her endless love and concern on him which was enough for bringing a smile on his face. Avni smiled after seeing his smile and kissed his forehead affectionately. He closed his eyes in order to feel the brushing of her lips over his skin.

He pulled her blouse a little down revealing her bullet mark and he just kept on staring it, again a terror clutched inside his mind and he was getting all the flashes of past when she was declared dead. His heart clenched with the mere thought of losing her again.

He shook his head vigorously in order to remove all the bad thoughts that were conquering his mind. Avni saw his struggle and kissed his temples lovingly for removing all those nasty thoughts that are killing his inner peace.

He kissed her bullet mark again and again so that she won't feel any pain while she was running her hands in his hairs so that he can calm down.

Avni - These are childhood wounds Neil. You have already healed them. ( smiling within tears )

Neil stopped kissing the bullet mark and looked at the scar on her right arm, which was showing how severely her skin was burn when she set fire in Vidyut's house. He held her arm and was kissing the scar while she looked at him helplessly.

Avni - You are not responsible for this. You have healed this pain as well. ( caressing his hairs )

Neil looked at her with hopeful orbs, his lips wobble like a baby illustrating that he will cry as the pain was increasing.

Neil - I healed it, you are saying truth. Right ? ( broken voice )

Avni grasps him in her arms and cradle him like a baby. He just felt himself burying into her and let himself melt into her embrace.

Avni - You have filled my life with happiness and yes you have healed me. ( she kissed his cheek )

Avni- ( in mind ) But you need to be healed and I will surely do that Neil. I won't let you suffer more. I won't, it's a promise.

Neil broke the hug and wiped her tears while she wiped his tears.

Avni - You are my everything. ( smiles )

Neil - Really ? ( hopeful eyes )

Avni nods.

Neil showered numerous kisses on her face in order to tell her how much she means to him. She is his world and he can't survive without her. She is his soulmate. When she went away she took his soul and peace away from him and now she have given him all the reasons to live his life. He loves her unconditionally and don't want any other separation in his life.

Neil - Now, I will keep you with me. You won't be able to leave me. I will die if you will leave me.

Avni was silent as she knew how vulnerable he is at this moment and she can't argue with him regarding his insecurities cos she know that his healing procedure is very long and it require alot of love and care from her side and she is ready to give him all her affection so that she can get her old Neil back.

She wanted to make him smile so she thought to divert the topic.

Avni - Neil, I am feeling hungry. ( pouts )

Neil - I have cooked poha for you. ( smiles )

Avni - Really. ( excited )

Neil nods positively. He made her sit on the bed and sat beside her while holding the plate in his hand.

He fed her from his hands while she made him eat lovingly. After dinner, Avni held his hands in hers.

Avni - You know Neil, insecurities always kill the love present in the relationship. If you will remain insecure about everything then you won't be able to live a happy life. ( calmly )

Neil - No Avni, you have to follow my rules cos I want to keep you safe.

With that he got up from the bed and went towards the cupboard. He brought a pair of handcuffs while Avni gasped as she knew what's coming next. Before she can react, Neil handcuffed her one hand with his.

Neil - Now we both can sleep and you won't run away.

Avni - Neil this is not right.

He made her lay down on the bed, wrapped his one arm around her waist and buried his face in her chest.

Neil - This is the best option Avni... best option.

Soon sleep engulfed him while sleep was far away from her eyes as she knew how broken is he.

She is trying her best to make him understand and somewhere she is successful in her efforts, still they have a long way to go.

10 years have changed everything but she won't give up in retracing her path towards her old, cheerful Neil.
