Why did she do it?
Everyone asks. No one has an answer.
It's too late to ask her.
No one cared before. Why now?
But I might have an answer:
She was tired.
Not the type of tired you can sleep off,
But tired of the pain.
Tired of loneliness.
Tired of being unseen,
Tired of having no one care.
However, now she's gone.
What she didn't know was:
I knew how much she hurt.
I knew how lonely she was,
But was pushed away every time I tried approaching her.
I saw her.
What makes me regret that I didn't try harder
To approach her, was that she left,
Not knowing that I cared.
