Her eyes used to always be full of light, 

Yet now they are as dark as night.

Her once joyous laugh, 

Has been exchanged for many tears. 

Some of the things that used to make her laugh, 

Have somehow transformed into her fears. 

 She needs the person that she misses, 

So that from him she gets those promised kisses.
