No Longer Little Girl
Pigtails and fluffy dress,
Pretty bow on her hair.
To disobey her parents,
She wouldn't dare.
Pretty pink polish
On her little nails.
Everything seemed easy,
Didn't really have many cares.
But then suddenly,
She got older.
She changed so much,
She was so much bolder.
Didn't wear dresses,
Traded them for jeans.
No more pigtails,
'Cause now she was seventeen.
