*Steven gets out of bed and goes to the door seeing its lapis he opens it and let's her in* Steven: Oh hi lapis. Lapis: Beach summer fun buddy! I told you I'd come back sometimes....just been super busy and stuff the usual. Steven: Yeah same here, gem stuff keeps me pretty busy and all. Lapis: Um...I hate to ask this but....do you have Jasper's gem? Steven: Uh yeah we have it bubbles and stored away so she won't escape and can't reform why? Lapis: Oh okay, that's why I was asking is all. I don't want her to come back... You saw what kind of things she's capable of doing.

Steven: yeah..but *yawn* the crystal gems stopped her and now she won't be able to do anything bad ever again. Lapis: Are you feeling okay, your doing this weird thing where your mouth opens really wide... Steven: That's called yawning, we humans do it all the time when we're tired. Then when we get really tired we lie down and go to sleep. Lapis: it sounds like fun but I don't know how....can you show me how to "Sleep"? Steven: its really easy....all you have to do is lie down somewhere comfortable... *steven lies in bed* close your eyes. *closes eyes* and in just a few minutes or so you a...s..lee..p. *Steven snores* Lapis: Oh. That does seem pretty simple when you see it performed at least once. Great job steven.

*lapis pokes him gently and he snores* lapis: well I guess I better try and "sleep" as he calls it. *lapis does what steven did and falls asleep....as time goes by Steven's gem glows protecting a dream about him meeting his mother Rose.* Rose: *gasps* Is this him? Is this my darling little boy?! Steven: M- mom....I'm so glad to see you Rose: I'm very glad to see you too Steven. I saw what's been going on out there and I'm very proud of you. Your doing such a great job keeping the earth safe and protecting the people you know and love.

Steven: *blushes thinking about Connie* The others told me so much about you but I'm not sure it it's true or not. Rose: Well what they've told you is true. I am part of you and I can see and hear all that you can... your becoming such a great hero Steven and a gem warrior. Steven: Well its all thanks to you helping me... that's why I'm so great. Rose: Indeed. I've seen that you changed so much.
