Skylar decided to go see David to get some answers she was only an hour away and she could already feel her anxiety getting the best of her.

She soon arrived so she parked and went to knock on the front door.

David answered and looked confused as ever. "Skylar what are you doing here" he asked her.

Skylar didn't know what to say so she just blurted the words out without even asking like she meant to.
"You're my dad" Skylar said more like a question than a statement. "Come in" David said confirming everything, so she did.

"Have a seat I'm sure there's a lot of questions you may have, and I be happy to answer them" David said taking a seat across from her. "How long have you known" Skylar asked him.

"Since the day you were born" David said. "And you didn't fight for me" Skylar asked angry. "It is not like that" David said trying to ease the situation.

"It is exactly like that you wouldn't fight for me your own flesh and blood but Constance my sister who isn't biologically yours you would for her you even adopted her" Skylar said.

"I know it seems that way but that's not it" David said. "Then enlighten me" Skylar said.

"Your mother and I we had a drunken night together; I was angry she was angry then one thing led to another and the next thing I know is she is naked in my bed" David told Skyler.

"What else" Skylar said still pretty upset. "We both felt guilty so we told your dad he was angry for a while but then we made up then a week later your mother was pregnant your mother told me that you were mine but that she couldn't risk her relationship with your dad, so she told him it was his" David said.

"And you still didn't fight for me" Skylar asked him. "I wanted to I did but after seeing you with your dad I couldn't" David said.

"Wait you saw me when" Skyler asked. "When you were 7", David said. "And you didn't once think I was okay living with a lie" Skylar said angry.

"I didn't want to take you from your home I thought I was doing the best thing for you" David said.

"The best thing the best thing so me being rushed to the hospital when I was three cause mom wouldn't pay even a bit of attention to me when I got ran over by a car was the best thing dad was at work he didn't know Mason was in school mom lied and made up some excuse of how she thought dad was with me that's the best thing" Skylar said before David tried to speak she spoke again.

"Or the time I was 10 and hid under my bed when dad wasn't home cause mom was off her mind then I was 15 and she tried to get my brother to kill himself" Skylar said.

"I didn't know if I knew I would have" David started to say but Skylar interrupted him.

"You would what dad always found out what she did he may have thought she would change and when he found out kicked her out but at least he fought for me cause mom threatened him for custody just so she could get some money that's all she cared about was money cause he was a famous judge before he gave it up and where were you here raising someone else's kid when you had one that was biologically yours living a lie" Skylar told him and he stayed quiet.

"Did Emily ever know" Skylar asked. "Yes, she's the one who convinced me to let you live your life that was until you came here" David told her.

"So, you both lied to me knowing my mother was awful" Skylar said.

"We thought she would change, and I couldn't do anything after your dad legally adopted you" David said. "Adopted me" Skylar asked.

"It was the only way to get your mother away from you all he didn't tell you", David asked, and Skylar shook her head.

"Well, that explains a lot but still I needed to know the truth and both of you, you, dad, Emily, mom, you all lied to me" Skylar spoke.

"If I could I take it all back I, would I just know how happy you were with him" David explained to her. "I would have been happier with my actual dad and not some lie" Skylar told him, and he sighed.

"What can I do to make things better" David asked and Skylar sighed. "Give me some time this is all still new, and I still need to tell Constance and Aiden" Skylar said, and he nodded.

"I should go I have a long trip" Skylar told him, and he nodded. "Okay have a safe trip" he said, and Skylar nodded before leaving.
