It was a beautiful summer evening, as I open  exit my house to Hardik standing there dressed in casual clothes not to fancy but it looked good on him.

His smile was so adorable that I found myself melting right there in front of my house.

"Hey love take a picture okay or keep me with you cause in that way you will get to see me everyday."
He walk forward with the stupid grin on his face extending his hand forward for me to take while I match his smirk.

"Who knows the future hardik maybe I will just marry you tomorrow."
His flustered face made me laugh.

He chuckled and open the car door for me .

"Does Shubman know?"
I ask once he enter the car.

"Yeh humari date hai isme Shubman kya karega know and anyways voh ishan ke saath busy hogi tum chodo uss apna experience batao about your series, Captain."
He raised his eyebrows and then again focused on the road .

And then I started talking non stop till we reach our destination which was in a rooftop of one of the tallest building.

"Is that it ?"
I asked amazed from the building in front of us.

Hardik take my hand in his and raised it pointing to the rooftop where tiny lights can be seen from how far it was.
"No it's that"

As we finally reach the rooftop the decoration and set up was amazing. It was actually the opposite of what I thought.

There were soft sheets spread in the floor with pillows and a table containing food and drinks keep in the corner . Fairy lights shining giving a comfy vibe and a projector in front of us.

My heart swelled with love for the man standing beside me with a soft smile on his face and I hugged him tightly making him laugh .

"I knew that you need some rest with some entertainment so I made this arrangement for you only.
I push my face away from his neck to look at him and he move a strand of my hair from my face.
"Soumya I know you tujhe yeh thoda fast forward lagega par you know jab se tu aayi hai you have made my life a lot better from before and there hasn't been a single when I didn't thought that how it would be better if you stay with me forever. Now I am not asking you to marry me instantly cause I know you to need some time and I am willing to give it to you but for the time course Will you be my best friend, my partner in crime , my comfort, my safe place ....... Will you be my girlfriend?"

He looked so calm and peaceful as I look in his eyes and only saw love for me . In that moment I know that no matter what happens he will stay with me in every step of life.

I nodded my head unable to speak a word as tears fill our eyes and he grasp me in his arms .

"You wouldn't regret it later ,right"
I ask

"Nah just don't become a chudail after sometime other than that I can manage."

I hit him in his chest and then we both starting laughing at our silly talks.

We continued to chat, sharing stories about our respective cricketing journeys. I was struck by how much we had in common, from the early morning training sessions to the thrill of playing in front of a packed stadium.

As the night wore on , we decided to watch a movie to which I insisted on the horror genre.

The night changes from hardik laughing to him screaming like a crazy at the surprise apperance of ghosts and me laughing hysterically to us sleeping peacefully beside each laying in the floor of my living room after a memorable night.
