The current problem with Adrianna Briar and Zachariah Bennett was that they were magnets.

A shared childhood, years of unresolved complications, and several nights of mistaken hook ups had led to a messy definition of strangers.

They were, simply put, the farthest thing from strangers. But it seemed too odd to consider each other familiar; not now, after the disaster of their history.

So maybe it was a mistake when Adrianna woke up tangled with him one morning. And maybe she should've ran when he grinned at her, boyish and alluring. But the most irredeemable decision came from when she said it:
