Allahuma Salli Ala Mohammadin Wala Aali Mohammadin Kama Sallai Tala Ibrahima Wala Aali Ibrahima Innaka Hameedum Majeed 🌌🌌🌌

" Lan Tanalul Birra Hatta Tunfiqu Mimma Yuhibbun " ( 2:92 - Al Quran )

This ayat holds great importance as Allah says here that you CANNOT attain righteousness until you give what you like the most, in Allah's way/ for Allah.

That doesn't refer to Zakat, as it is due unto you. It's an obligation you're fulfilling. Nothing in the essence of Ehsan ( virtue higher than a good deed ).

If you give sadaqah that is an Ehsan. But that should not be something like you're giving your old worn out clothes, which are torn from many places and you think oh it's not my type I should just give it to the poor they deserve, and in this way it will also be considered as sadqah. NO! This is not sadqah, you may think it is but it is not.

Sadqah is giving from what you love, from what is dear to, which can be anything like money, jewelry, clothes or whatever holds your interest.

Prophet S.A.W.W has said that Allah will not forgive a person who is Bakheel. (Narrated)

Try giving in such a way that if your right hand gives, your left hand doesn't get the news of it.

Hazrat Abu Bakr R.A is famously known for his love of Allah, that he didn't think twice about spending his wealth in Allah's cause and when asked what is left for your family, he replied Allah and His prophet!

Similarly Hazrat Usman and Hazrat Umar R.A are also known for such acts of sacrifices.

Sacrifice comes in many forms, Hazrat Ibraheem and Hazrat Ismail Alaihi Salam are one great example of this phenomena. Just a dream, ordering Nabi to sacrifice his son!!! Can we imagine? Can anyone imagine? NO! Sacrificing our wealth or something else can however be given some thought too, but sacrificing one's own begotten child? With own hands? Ya Allah :''( And since that day Allah has made it as Sunnah that we perform every year by Almighty's grace, Alhamdulillah. May Allah accept our deeds and grant us to do it with pure hearts and intentions and not to seek attention or for showing off...
