Chapter 71 ~
Obsessed with my wife

Throwing away the watch Ragini sighed in relief but in minutes, she had a panic attack once again freaking out the brothers.

"Ragini will you tell me what is wrong!?" Shivaay asked calming her.
"I lost my husband and you lost your wife Shivaay!" She said weeping very badly.

Shivaay and his brothers were hell shocked to hear what she just told.
"What do you mean Ragini?!" Shivaay asked back intimidated by her statement.
"Shivaay Anika is not safe. Veer is dangerous for her!" Ragini said continuing, "He is obsessed with Anika Shivaay!"

"What!" ShivOmRu hollered in unison.
"Veer is my husband and I was a puppet of his all these days!" She said continuing, "Please save Anika Shivaay! I don't know what he will do to her."
"Ragini why didn't you tell this to me before!?" Shivaay asked her, his heart feeling weak.

"Because I was under his control, that watch had a camera that surveils each and every moment of mine and if I told you any truth, he would have killed my parents." she said still sounding nervous.
"A while back, he called me saying that he didn't need me anymore and that he left my parents free! That means he is planning to do something with Anika." she continued.

"OmRu take care of our family! I'm leaving to San Francisco immediately" Shivaay said when OmRu say, "Bhai please let us come too!"
"No, if no one is at home who will take of our family?! You guys should be here for our family's sake. Take care of Ragini as well." he spoke when they nodded back in response.

San Francisco,

Anika was preparing for her meeting when Veer entered her room.
"Done?" Veer asked when Anika spoke, "Almost! I will be leaving now Veer. You are coming with me right? Both of us would have the same meeting anyway!"
"No no Anu! My meeting is scheduled for tomorrow." he said when she nodded back in response.

Shivaay did call Anika but her phone was in silence to his dismay. He was very much tensed about his wife who was in the hands of a dangerous man.

After an hour or two, Anika reached the main office of Levi's and left to attend her meeting while Veer was eagerly waiting outside the office for her to come back so that he could execute his evil plan.

It was already eight hours from then and Anika didn't come back much to his irritation. He called her when she picked up, "Anu? Isn't the meeting over yet!?" He asked in a frustrated voice when she told "Veer I'm afraid I have to stay back today! They have given me a room to rest! You don't worry we can meet up tomorrow at office."
"What!" Veer exclaimed in anger when Anika cut the call not wanting to listen anymore.

"Ms.Anika! Are you alright!?" Stevens asked her when he found her lost in thoughts.
"Yes of course Mr.Stevens! I'm fine thank you." Anika said back still thinking, "Stevens told me he hadn't offered Veer any deal in this company! Then why did Veer lie? And why is he waiting right outside the office when he told he won't come with me." she thought looking through the window where she had a clear view of Veer kicking the car door in frustration.

Finishing her meeting, Anika left the office without being noticed by Veer who was busy over his phone. She felt suspicious about his behavior, so avoided him. Once she reached back to her room, she checked her phone to find almost a hundred missed calls from Shivaay.

Anika panicked seeing the number of missed calls and when she tried calling back, it was unreachable. She mentally cursed herself for not picking her husband's calls.

It was almost night and Anika couldn't reach anyone as her phone blacked out. She wasn't feeling good at all when there was a knock at the door. She was not ready to open the door as she thought it would be Veer. She was still standing rooted at her position when the knock was even louder this time.

Suddenly she heard a commotion outside when she heard a very familiar voice. She opened the door instantly and flung her arms around the owner of that voice.

Reciprocating the hug back even more tightly, the owner of the voice said, "Anika! Thank God you are safe."
"Shivaay!" Anika called out still not feeling good.

"Anika it's okay!" Shivaay pacified her when she broke the hug saying, "Shivaay, I thought it was Veer! Suddenly I feel so creepy about him. That michmichi feeling!" She completed shrugging her shoulders off when he chuckled hearing that word of hers.

"Thank you, he's my husband!" Anika said to the staff member and he left the place while Shivaay beamed in happiness. Shivaay then revealed the truth Ragini told him when Anika casually said, "Oh! That's okay, I will have to avoid him then!"
"That's not okay!" Shivaay said back, continuing "How can he be obsessed with my wife!? I hate that Veer." he huffed in anger.

Anika pinching his cheeks spoke, "Mr.Jealous Singh Oberoi! I think we have to leave this place before Veer finds us."
"Okay we will but I'm not jealous Anika!" He complained when she said, "Fine! The great Shivaay Singh Oberoi is not jealous, instead he is jalkukda!" She finished leaving him confused.

They checked out of the hotel room very soon and shifted to another hotel when Anika said a bit worried, "I still have to be here for another day!"
"That's okay! Don't worry Anika." Shivaay assured her when she nodded back in positive.

It was really late that night, Anika was sleeping peacefully when she heard a sound all of a sudden. She opened her eyes to see dim light at one corner and a dark figure walking here and there.

"Shivaay wake up! Look there" Anika exclaimed trying to wake him up when she...
