Chapter 39 ~ Divorce?

Days passed, Khushi shifted to Mumbai as her family insisted to. Gauri left back to Bangalore promising Om that she would find his girl very soon. All the while Om and Gauri became quite close not missing to talk to each other daily.

Saumya finished her research at Rudra's college and left without informing him. They finished their final semester and finally Rudra joined the Oberoi industries as a trainee. Saumya in her campus placements at college got a job offer from Oberoi industries as well.

Shivaay and Anika were completely sailing in their own worlds of business. After the Paris trip, their reputation grew higher.

One fine day, in ShivIka's room.

"Billuji I got a business deal from Levi's" said Anika not knowing how to react after the confirmation she got.
"Wow Anika! Congratulations." exclaimed Shivaay in exuberance.
"But I need to shift to San Fransisco for the deal. Maybe for 1-2 years" said Anika sounding a bit upset.

"I don't want you to stop because of this relationship Anika. We will break this up soon. I will take care of the procedure." said Shivaay controlling his emotions.
"This was all just a deal right?" asked Anika expecting answers.
"Yes it was." said Shivaay trying to act indifferent.

"But what about our families? Will they be able to bear all this?" asked Anika not understanding her thoughts but feeling pain in her heart.
"We'll manage Anika!" Saying he just left from there not even looking at her.

In Bangalore, Om was excited to meet Gauri when she told she found the girl who sang that album.

At the hotel,"Om are you ready?" asked Gauri impatiently waiting in his room while he was brushing his hair.
"Yes Gauri. Just a minute!" said Om.
"You are telling the same dialogue from the past thirty minutes." groaned Gauri.

Om faced Gauri then while she stared at him raising her eyebrows.
"Am I presentable Gauri?" asked Om anxiously.
"You look amazing in free hair. I mean she would love you in free hair!" Gauri covered up.

"How do you know that?" asked Om a bit curious.

"I just know it Om! Let's go." saying Gauri pulled him with her and left.

Unknowingly, Anika's precious tears were rolling down her cheeks.

"What's happening to me? Am I crying!? I should not because this was all just a deal. And it will be. But why am I feeling bad?" questioned Anika to herself.

There in the office, Shivaay broke everything in his cabin hurting himself, his hand bleeding due to a fresh cut.

"Why! What's wrong with me!? Everything was just a deal. Then why? I should be happy that I will be able to concentrate more on my career and so would she. We would become successful." He thought to himself.

It was evening by then when the Chowdharys reached the Oberoi mansion.

"Anu, your bhai is..." Pranavi was about to continue when Anika interrupted.

"Getting married to Khushi Singhania in three weeks." said Anika without taking a break.

"That's my princess! She knows everything about me." said Arnav with much pride later receiving so many teasings and congratulations from the Oberoi family.

"Kalyani Ma, We are only two and Singhania family is very big. Only you are there for us, so..." Pranavi was still continuing when "We will take care Pranavi. Don't worry! Arnav is my grandson too" spoke Kalyani patting her cheek.

Just then Shivaay entered the hall and Pratap told him about Arnav.

"Congratulations Arnav!" said Shivaay happy for him but one side he still felt pain thinking of his relationship.

Just then Anika noticed hurt in his hand. She ran from there confusing everyone and came back with a first aid box.

"Billuji sit down!" said Anika sternly.
"But why Anika?" asked Shivaay not understanding her. She made him sit and slowly started to bandage his hurt palm.

"Why did you hurt yourself billuji?! I can't see you in pain." saying tears rolled down her cheeks.
"And I can't see you crying Anika!" saying Shivaay wiped her tears gently.

"Is it paining?" asked Anika cleaning his wound.
"Not more than that." said Shivaay looking deeply into her eyes.

They were still looking at each other when they were disturbed by the entire family.

"Awww! Kitna pyaar hai in dono ke beech. (How much love between the two.)" said the families in unison.

Shivaay and Anika didn't understand what was there between them but they couldn't accept it was love. Their families were so happy seeing ShivIka beautifully establishing their relationship but little did they know what was going to happen.
