Indhu's POV

I wake up at 6, like I usually do. I don't have to go to work today, as I put a leave this week. Surya is still sleeping on the floor. He is slightly shivering, so I take the blanket and cover him with it.

I walk into the bathroom, and find two new brushes. I use one, and leave the other unopened for him. Walking to the closet, I take out a white and blue dress(See dress at the top). After taking a shower, I put my hair into a fish braid and walk out of the room. I walk into the kitchen, and find my mom and Surya's aunt there.

"Ey Indhu. Lechava. Alludugaru lechara?" Mom says to me.

"Hey Indhu. You are awake. Did son-in-law wake up?" mom says to me.

"Hi ma. Hi aunty. Ledamma, ayina inka levaledu." I say.

"Hi ma. Hi aunty. No mom, he didn't wake up yet." I say.

"Sare. Coffeetho readyga undu." she tells me.

"Ok. Be ready with a cup of coffee." she tells me.

I nod and start making coffee. I make two cups, one for me and one for Surya. I drink my cup of coffee, and take the other one upstairs. When I walk into the bedroom, I see Surya wearing his shirt and getting ready to go somewhere.

"Ekkadaki velthunnaru?" I ask him, even though I shouldn't be asking him.

"Where are you going?" I ask him, even though I shouldn't be asking him.

"Oka caseki sambandinchi konchem important information vachindi. Vellali." he replies, combing his hair.

"We got some important information related to a case. I have to go." he replies, combing his hair.

"Oh." I say. "Uh, coffee teesukondi." I say, handing it to him.

"Oh." I say. "Uh, here, take the coffee." I say, handing it to him.

"Thanks."

I smile and he takes a sip.

"Abba! Adirindhi." he says.

"Super!" he says.

I blush a little at the compliment.

He finishes his coffee and grabs his shoes and socks. I take the empty cup of coffee from him and follow him downstairs.

"Rey Surya. Ekkadiki velthunnavura?" Surya's aunt asks him.

"Hey Surya. Where are you going?" Surya's aunt asks him.

"Adi, oka important call vachindi athayya. Vellali." he tells her, wearing his socks and shoes.

"I got an important call aunt. I have to go." he tells her, wearing his socks and shoes.

"Ee roju intiki vellali ani anunnaru kada." his aunt says to him.

"You two planned on moving to your house right." his aunt says to him.

"Avunu kada. Indhu, nuvvu nee bags anni saduko. Nenu evening vachi pick chesukuntanu." he says to me.

"Oh yea. Indhu, pack you bags. I will pick you up in the evening." he says to me.

I nod, and he leaves. After breakfast, I go up to my room and pack my cloths and make-up. Soon, the time's 4 P.M. I get a text message from Surya.

Surya: on my way. be there in 5 mins

Me: ok

I walk downstairs with my bags. I only have one suitcase and my handbag, so i didn't ask for help. Right when I get down the last step, Surya walks into the house.

"Randi alludu garu." my dad greets him.

"Come son-on-law." my dad greets him.

"Hi mamayya. Adi, Indhuni teeskelladaniki vachanu..." he says, looking at me.

"Hi uncle. Um, I came to take Indhu..." he says, looking at me.

"Indhu, veldama?" he asks me.

"Indhu, lets go?" he asks me.

I just nod, and he has his driver take my bags outside and put them in the car. I walk out with Surya, my parents behind me. My friends are also there.

"Bye Indhu." my mom says, hugging me.

We are all crying, me, mom, dad. All of us. I spot Taman at at the door of the house. Tears streaming down my face, I walk back up the few stairs and hug him. Taman and I are very close.

"Bye annayya(brother)." I say, crying and holding on to him tightly.

"Indhu." he says, pulling away. I look up at him. "Emaina kuda, vachesey. Sarena?"

"Indhu." he says, pulling away. I look up at him. "If anything happens, come back. Ok?"

I nod, unable to talk.

"Love you ra." he says, kissing my forehead.

"I love you annayya(Brother)." I reply.

He leads me to the car.

"Vellu." he says, placing my hand in Surya's. "Okkagani okka adapilla. Gaarabam chesi perigindi. choosuko." he says to Surya.

"Go." he says, placing my hand in Surya's. "Our one and only girl. She was pampered growing up. Take care." he says to Surya.

Surya nods. "Puvvullo pettukoni choosukunta bava."

Surya nods. "I will treat her with flowers brother-on-law."

Surya and I get into the car. I open the window and look out, waving to my friends, family, and the home that I've known for the past 26 years of my life.

I keep looking out and waving until my house is just a speck in the distance. After pulling my head back in, I rest it on the seat, tears filling my eyes.

After a few minutes, the driver takes a right turn and pulls into a pretty, medium-sized house. It isn't huge like a mansion, but it is nice. We get down, and Surya opens the door. We walk in, the driver carrying my bags. Surya leads me upstairs.

"Motham nalugu rooms unnayyi." he says to me. "Neeku edi kavalo choodu."

"There is a total of four rooms" he says to me. "Choose which ever one you want."

I nod, and he shows me all four rooms. My favorite is the one with the light blue walls, and I think he knows this too. My bags are already in that room, and after, he leads me to his room, which is a little farther away from my room. He falls onto the bed, tired. We talk for a few minutes, when he starts yawning. I look at the time, and see that its only 4:45.

"Kaasepu padukondi. Nenu coffee pedtha." I say.

"Take a nap. I'll go make coffee." I say.

He nods and thanks me. I walk out of the room, closing the door. Walking into the kitchen, I look around for the coffee powder and the sugar. After preparing coffee, I take a cup of it upstairs. I walk into his room, but he isn't on the bed.

Probably in the bathroom. I think. I set the coffee on the small table in the room, and look at some of the pictures on the wall. There are baby pictures of him, which are so adorable.

"Don't you know to knock before coming in?" a voice makes me jump slightly. I turn to find Surya staring at me. He walks towards me, and I walk back. My back hits the wall, and my heart races. He puts his hands on the wall, caging me in.

Is he gonna force me? I think, scared.

"So?" he asks, dangerously close to me.

"S-s-sorry. C-coffee i-idham ani v-va-vacha." I stutter, scared.

"S-s-sorry. I-i wanted to g-give you coffee." I stutter, scared.

"Bhayam vestonda?" he whispers.

"Are you scared?" he whispers.

I nod. "Please. E-em cheyyadu." I whisper, close to tears.

I nod. "Please. D-don't do anything." I whisper, close to tears.

He removes one hand from the wall and slowly moves it downwards. I squeeze my eyes shut, very scared. I don't feel anything for a few minutes. Slowly, I open my eyes to see Surya in front of me, his hands on his hips, smiling. I look down.

"Bhayam vesinda?" he asks, smiling.

"Were you scared?" he asks, smiling.

Slowly, I nod.

"Nenu em cheyyanu le. Bhayapadaku." he says.

"I won't do anything. Don't worry." he says.

I nod again. He walks towards me, and I try moving back more out of fear. He gives me a water bottle.

"Idigo."

"Here."

"Th-thanks." I say, drinking some of the water. He smiles.

"No problem."
