Their life after 4 years....

"Dear, you should be careful with that walk of yours. " my mother warned from the kitchen as she saw me walking to the sofa.

"I have already experience this, maa. The thing is this little guy in here is too heavy for me. " I giggled for my words as I caress my big 7 months belly and sat on the sofa.

Here we are, at our small gathering in my own house which Nathan bought recently.

It's a bungalow with free spaces of 1 acre around the house. It's just green around us and we bought this house especially for upcoming children to have a healthy living  around nature.

Oh, yes, we still doing good in job and after four years, I'm having a long leave right now for my pregnancy again.

There's a little baby in me after Maya right now and so as you guys guessing, Maya is already 4. She grew up so fast in our presence and I felt too worried to see her growing beautifully everyday into a wise girl. 

Yet, we are here waiting for our little boy to come in few months of due and I'm happy to carry a son as my family will be so cute with a girl and a boy sooner.

"Mumma, Jojo pinched me. " Maya whined as she ran towards me with her pouty face.

"Baby, he is just playing. " I cooed her as I kiss her small tiny nose.

"Your always taking his side. " she huffed and moved away from me with her arms crossing over her chest.

Then, as I made no move, she took off with that same pouty lips. For once, I could say that she's just like me in attitudes and behaviours too.

"Maya. " I called out her name softly but she never come over again.

"...your mumma isn't bad. Jonathan is just like you and who is he to you? " I heard my mother chiming as she walks in with angry Maya on her hip.

"He is...my boyfriend. " Maya squealed in her arms as she said that.

This is what happening lately, Maya kept on mentioning Jonathan as her boyfriend and I did wonder about who might taught her that. Thus, her father get really mad sometimes when she says that to him.

"So then, you shouldn't blame him like this...don't you? " my mother cooed and she nodded. She put her down and Maya ran as fast as lightening to a direction while yelling Jonathan's name.

"Why is she calling him? " Nathan questioned in a daddy mode and kissed me on the cheek as he walked in from behind

"She wanted to get him back. " I said in joy as I pump my hand on air winningly.

"She's just 4 and your already shipping them? " Nathan asked while sitting beside me, not without kissing my belly.

"Yes. " I said in that happy tone and he glared me. He doesn't like his daughter going behind boys like this and Max is the exact like him. Max, our 5 year old dog will scared them off while growling at boys if anyone came near her. This is why I never let him wander around when Jonathan's around.

"Mumma...mumma? " Maya ran to me as she climbed on the sofa with her pouty face again.

"Yes, baby. " I make her sat beside me.

"Jojo doesn't want to talk to me. " she explained while pointing to a direction where Jonathan located, I guess.

She squeezed her eyes with her little fingers while tears welled up her eye lids. She started to call him Jojo when he started to call her Yaya, I don't know what's with that nicknames but they are cute in a way.

"Maya, you shouldn't cry for him. " Nathan said sternly and I rolled my eyes at him. He picked her up and sat her on his lap while cooeeing his crying daughter.

"Hey, guys. " Harold entered the house with a smile while greeting everyone.

"See...your son made my daughter cry. " Nathan explained as he cradled Maya. My little baby didn't still stop crying but kept on whining at her father's gesture.

"They do match well. " Harold commented while laughing, earning a death glare from Nathan. He approached his wife as he walked to her direction.

"Come to granny, little pie. " my mother in law soonly joined us and picked Maya on her arms.

Maya relaxed a bit and looked around.

"Why is my little pie crying? " my mother in law questioned and Maya hugged her neck firmly.

"Jojo...don't want me. " she said while sobbing time to time.

My mother in law and my own mother greeted each other as they sat together.

Henna came with sad Jonathan walking beside her along.

"Just leave hi- " Nathan said but I cut him off in middle to make him stop or else she will cry more, seeing her father's warning.

"Henna...see, this two fight again like usual. " I said as she sat opposite me on the sofa.

Jonathan looked pouty too and his eyes never leaving Maya, who is sobbing aimlessly.

"They two are so unbearable. Jonathan, isn't she's your best girl friend? " Henna questioned him and he just nodded while still eyeing Maya.

"What the he- " Nathan started with a scowl and I cut him off again as I squeezed his hand a little. His eyes shot to mine yet I never met his shocking gaze.

"Yes, Jojo...see, she's crying like a baby now just because you don't want to talk to her. " I explained with a pouty face while eyeing my daughter's continuous sobs.

"I'm not a baby. " Maya exclaimed sternly, refusing about what I say and her arms came across her chest. She stepped away from her granny and stood still on the sofa. Sometimes she do behave like her father.

"Yes, you are. " I said as I rolled my eyes and she did the same back.

"What is happening here? " Nathan quickly came in with a confusion look.

"You are telling that my daughter is his girlfriend and...you are already shipping them? " Nathan pointed at Henna and then at me while evoking our action.

I just shook my head with a snort.

"Maya, come here right now...you don't need him or any other boys. You have papa, little love. " Nathan cooed as he opened his arms widely. She quickly smiled big and stepped down the sofa slowly to get to her father.

"Yaya, I'm sorry. " Jonathan apologized with a puppy face as he walk to her, right before she could run to her father.

"It's okay, Jojo. " Maya said sweetly and they engulfed each other.

For a girl of 4, Maya did towered the 5 year old boy and I'm sure that after 10 years, Jonathan will be the one towering her.

"Oh, great. " Nathan muttered under his breath while snorting in disgrace and crossed his arms across the chest.

I laughed, seeing his reaction.

Soon something any of us didn't expected happened, Jonathan lean in to my daughter's lip childishly and Maya after understanding his gesture, she gave him a quick peck on his puckering lips.

"Holy sh- " Nathan stared the scene in horror and it doubled my laughter. He groaned while cursing louder but I cut him this time too.

"It's just a peck, Nathan. Relax, okay. " I said as I controlled my laughter while patting his lap gently.

"She literally just gave him her first kiss, Ishita. " Nathan spoke as he pointed them. Maya is happily clapping her hands after pecking Jonathan and she ran back to her father.

"She's just 4, Nathan. She wouldn't even remember this when she grow up, unless you told her by yourself. " I complained.

"Papa...why? " Maya asked and she poke every part on his face as she eyed his disappointed look.

This man is acting so immature right now and he is refusing to hold her. I knew that he is just pulling her leg and Nathan won't stand too long to see her like this because she would start to cry if he refuses to pay her attention.

"Come on, Nathan. They are just kids. " Harold exclaimed as he picked up Jonathan in his arms. That little boy was smiling so cutely while staring us.

"Who knows, that we might end up being the laws for each other...right? " Henna joined in and I laughed at her remark. They are targeting my husband and they are scoring damn well.

"You guys know what, I'm going to start the barbeque early. " he speaks out while running his fingers along his hair then stood up and picked Maya on his arms.

He gave her a kiss on the cheek and Maya began smiling again at her father's loving gesture.

"Man, your being so old. " Harold teased, putting Jonathan down.

"I'm just being a dad. " he replied with a smirk and walked past me.

"Me? " I asked with my lips puckering out as I held onto his free hand.

"You will just stay here with them, okay. I will come around again after preparing everything and we need this papa and daughter time alone, you know. " he playfully said, making me to roll my eyes and he bent down to kiss my head gently.

Then, his hand slowly reached for my belly to caress there a little.

"Give mumma company until papa comes back, alright my little champ? " he cooed at my belly and I giggled.

The barbeque party began and I smiled while acknowledging all this love around me. Can anyone be more lucky than I'm?

I'm glad that Nathan and I stayed for each other, knowing that there's a future written for us. Just like now.

I'm happy to have this man and I love him very much.

Nathan's snort took over my thoughts and I giggled seeing my possessive husband, eyeing those two little love birds running around our gardens.

I'm totally shipping them, aren't I?

I grabbed his cheek and kissed it quickly to drag his attention from them. His eyes came to me and he saw me just as he used to 5 years ago.

Our love took control after the marriage only and this is what we call as Love that comes after Marriage.
