another chance at love

vanished before my wide eyes

i'd thought .. her single

she left .. said ta-ta

smiled wickedly .. I was lost

all over .. again

looking in the mirror

I pondered love .. love affects

warmth of a woman

love .. one feels .. one thinks

a life of love .. for many

emptiness for some

taking a shower

pieces of glitter peeled off

water .. stung my back
