Ponk's POV

I tried to bandage Tubbo up, but my hands refused to cooperate. My best friend...Karl died...

This must be a bad dream, right? I'll soon wake up and everything will be okay!

Tubbo was still unconscious. Sam was gone along side Punz, who was silent, bringing him to the prison

Foolish... Foolish was having a hard time right now

He stayed in the room where Karl's dead body was at

All I could do was make sure Tubbo was still breathing

Foolish's POV

"Karl... Karl?" I wimpered as I held his body in my arms, sitting down on the bloody ground

"Please wake up... Please?"

"Crying and begging won't do you any good, Foolish"

I turned around to see XD.

"Please... Heal him up" I begged, gripping on Karl

"... He's facing the consequence"

"What consequence?! Our family member is dead! You are suppose to protect us!" I yelled at him

"Don't you dare yell at me!" He spat back

"So...Can you heal him back?" I mumbled, hoping that he can

"..."

"... I'll take that as a yes..."

"...I can fix him, but I have a few offers"

I accepted very quickly. If anything meant saving my brother I would do it

"Break up with Sam and Ponk" XD explained

My heart shattered, it felt like I was gonna die of a heart attack with all the pain I was going through

I reluctantly nodded, but asked, "May I spend one more week with them?..."

XD stayed silent, but nodded, "One week that's it, if you go against your word, I will make sure they have no memory of you"

I gulped, "I..."

"I what?"

"I... Promise" I sigh

"Good" XD chuckled

As XD was gonna do their thing, something came over me. I grabbed Karl's body and went to the far side of the room

"I...Feel something is off from you" I mumbled

"May I ask what?"

"You don't seem shocked, when we were younger you would create a scene when we got scratched or something like that..."

Something isn't right

"You never let us get harmed past and present... Unless" I stared at XD

"You... Planned this did you?"

XD stayed silent as they were approaching us, "Hand over Karl, Foolish"

"No...No! You made sure Tubbo got harmed and Karl dead! You knew what you were planning!" I yelled, tears forming in my eyes

XD looked down to the ground before looking back, "It was the only way..."

"ONLY WAY FOR WHAT?!"

"...To make sure the time line is following the right path"

"... You selfish f!cker" I scoffed in disgust

"I will not focus on my family if it meant saving lives of others, I have focused too much on you guys" XD explained

"So family isn't important to you?..."  I say in disbelief

"It was...I mean it still is-" XD sighed in frustration, "Why do you guys even exist if all you guys do is cause trouble..."

I guess XD was suppose to mumble to himself of that last part because he looked almost frightened

"We're not asking for you to fix our problems every single time, you do that to yourself!" I looked at him and continued, "We never asked to be born, you brought us here"

"Just...Give me the boy " XD held out both of his hands

My grip tightens around Karl, "Not a chance"

"Do not make me repeat myself" XD snarled ready to snatch Karl away from me

"I don't want the deal no more, I can heal him myself" It hit me, "I used to be the God of Death, I can revive him, I can try to-"

XD started to laugh, "Foolish, you sweet fool, that's how you got your name...You always think that everything has a solution to it"

I felt weak suddenly and dropped to the ground. Karl thankfully didn't get harmed as much

"Hand him over"

My actions, I couldn't control them no longer.

I got up and almost handed him to XD, but then he disappeared

XD's POV

"What the..."

I looked behind me and felt hatred going through my vains, "You..."

"What the heck are you even doing here?!"

"It's good to see you as well, brother "
