It felt like an eternity as Jungkook stood there waiting for Taehyung to make his move. He was getting kind of scared, starting to believe he wasn't going to do it. If Taehyung didn't do it, it was going to devastate him. Especially now after what happen between them. He figured if he liked Taehyung enough to do that for him, Taehyung should be able to do this for him , no hesitations.

The hallways seemed to quieting down as Jungkook and Taehyung were standing there. They weren't quite sure if everyone had indeed gone silent, or if they were just so focused on each other that it was simple an illusion.

Either way, Taehyung leaned in a bit further while trying to psyche himself up in his thoughts~ "Come on. I can do this, I can do this. I like Jungkook, don't I?"

But as he was just about to finally work up enough courage, he noticed something in the corner of his eye. He glanced over and seen some students were whispering to each other, which caused the nervous feeling in his stomach to instantly growing worse. He didn't even have to know what they were saying to know what they were thinking.

Seeing them made him wonder if everyone else was whispering about them too. As he looked around he noticed a big crowd of people had stopped and were watching them intently.

Tae whispered nervously~ "J-Jungkook...look at how many people has gathered.."

Jungkook placed his hand on Tae's face, forcing him to look back at him. He originally wasn't going to say anything to him or try and force anything, but he was getting desperate as he seen Tae started to back away. He didn't want Tae to back out, because he knew if he did, it would be a dead giveaway that he didn't care enough about their relationship to put his own "reputation" aside. And Jungkook wasn't sure if he was going to be able to handle that.

Jungkook says quietly~ "Ignore them...please. You want to be with me don't you..?"

Tae: "Y-yes. But.."

Jungkook looked into Tae's eyes that were filled with worry, he says quietly~ "Then forget about everyone else. Kiss me like you would if no one was watching."

Tae redirected his gaze into Jungkook's eyes, It had never been so hard to kiss Jungkook before. Not even the first time he kissed him. But now that all these people were watching, it made it almost impossible for him to do anything. He was filled with so much anxiety, it practically immobilize him.

Jungkook gave him a reassuring nod to let him know it was going to be ok. The nod somehow made Taehyung feel at ease, break him out of his frozen state.

He moved in closer, the gap between their lips slowly diminishing. Jungkook's heart started racing as their lips were now no more than a few inches apart. Deep down, he was a bit nervous about kissing in front of other people as well, but that was only because he wasn't used to all this attention on him.

Thoughts about what their relationship was going to be like after this kiss rushed through Jungkook's head in those few moments Tae was inching close to his lips. But, his thoughts were cut off when he hears a familiar voice call out~

HS: "Taehyung? Jungkook?"

The two boys looked over in their direction. Hoseok, Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi had finally made it out of the cafeteria. The 3 (excluded Yoongi) had confused expressions on their face when they noticed the crowd of people who have formed, and not to mention the awkward closeness of Jungkook and Taehyung.

All the confidence Tae had built up instantly plummeted back down when he seen them. He looked to his friends, then back to Jungkook...

...

Tae says loud enough for the students standing around to hear~ "...you...have food on you lip." Tae reached up and wiped Jungkook's lip off with his thumb, then slowly took a step back. Jungkook's hand slid down the side of Tae's cheek as he stepped away from him.

Tae rubbed the back of his neck, feeling like the biggest jerk in the world. He just couldn't push himself to do it. Not when his friends were standing right there.

Not even looking at Jungkook because he didn't want to see the pained look on his face that was sure to be there, Tae turned around and walked down the hall towards class. The feeling of guilt was progressively getting worse each time he took a step away from Jungkook.

Meanwhile, the students, including the rest of the guys, who had just been watching them were flocking to class as the second bell rang. Jungkook stood there in the hall,silent, as everyone was running by him. To think he and Taehyung had just taken a big step in their relationship, and now not even 40 minutes later, they took a huge step back.

Jungkook walked slowly towards class, not sure how he should feel towards this situation. He of course was saddened and angry by the fact Taehyung couldn't look past the criticism he might receive for kissing him, but at the same time, he was wondering if he should be more
understanding.

Then Jungkook begins to thinking~ "...no. Why should I be understanding towards him? He couldn't even do one thing for me. I did something he really wanted... so why couldn't he have done this for me?"

Jungkook took a deep breath before he reached the classroom door, knowing he was going to be scolded for being late. Plus he was just stressed out that he had to sit by Taehyung for the rest of the class. He wasn't looking forward to the next 4 hours that were sure to be very uncomfortable.

As he walked in, the teacher looks over towards him. She tips her glasses down and says~ "There you are. What are you doing late to class?"

JK: "I apologize..." He gave her a sorrowful bow, he continues~ "...I was feeling sick."

The teacher walked over to him and placed her hand on his head, to feeling his temperature. She says~ "Hm, you don't seem warm to me. What's wrong?"

JK: "I uh. I had some chest pains.."

Taehyung's elbow was propped on the table, his head resting on his hand. After hearing what Jungkook said, he covered his eyes with his hand while letting out a long, heavy sigh.

The teacher patted his back, she says~ "Well, why don't you go sit down. I'll excuse your tardiness this time. Just make sure and keep an eye on those chest pains."

Jungkook gave her another bow and says~ "I will. Thank you so much."

Jungkook walked back over at the desk, slowly pulled the chair out and sat down. He glanced over and noticed Taehyung's eyes were still covered up by his hands. He could tell by looking at him that Taehyung was pretty upset with himself.

As much as Jungkook wanted to reach over and give him a hug and tell him he forgave him, he couldn't. He didn't forgive him and plus, he didn't want Tae to think he was easy when it came to forgiving like he always had been before.

The two sat there the entire class in complete silence, not once glanced over at each other. The vibes were much different than the ones this morning. The goofing around and overall happy vibes were replaced with awkward, and uncomfortable ones.

The tension was even worse than that of the first day of school.
...
After School

Hoseok came, followed by the others, up to Jungkook and Taehyung's desk. He says~ "Whoaaaa. You two looked like you were about to kiss in the hallway. What was that all about??"

The guys watched as Jungkook shoving stuff into his bag.
Meanwhile, Taehyung was doing the opposite and putting everything away slowly. The guys noticed their demeanor, so Jin speaks up and says~ "Uh. Are you two ok?"

Without saying a word, Jungkook tossed his bag over his shoulder and walked out of class hurriedly. The guys looked back at Taehyung, wondering what the heck was going on.

HS: "Is there something we should know...?"

Tae stood up, says bluntly~ "It's none of your business." The guys followed behind Taehyung as he walked out of the classroom, they weren't about to let him walk off without giving them an explanation for his and Jungkook's sudden change of behavior towards each other.

Hoseok put his hand on his shoulder and says~ "Dude, you didn't answer my question about you and Jungkook."

Tae: "I would never kiss Jungkook. And you guys are crazy if you would even think that was what was going to happen..."

NJ: "To be fair man...it completely looked like you two were going to start making out. I mean, what do you expect us to think when you two are like 3 inch away from each other."

Tae: "He had food on his lip, and I was looking at it."

Jin: "It looked to me like you were looking at Jungkook as if he were the food."

Tae: "Just because I maybe get a little close to him, or apparently look at him a certain way? Since when did that automatically mean I was gay?"

HS' "We didn't say you were gay. We were just curious as to what was going on...that's all."

Tae: "Trust me, the only people I am interested in are girls...and besides, what can guys offer me anyways? Their dicks? No thanks."

Hoseok patted his back, says~ "We know you aren't gay. We're sorry we even said anything, ok? You know us...we're really nosey."

Yoongi came jogging up to them, he says~ "Wow. You won't believe what just happened...I think Jungkook and Jimin are actually arguing for once."

Taehyung looked over, interested. He says~ "Arguing...? Did you happen to hear what it was about?"

YG: "Nah. I just happened to see them as I walked out of class. Jungkook didn't look happy at all."

Jin: "Ooh, that's why Jungkook looked upset when he left class. Something must have happened between him and Jimin."

Taehyung felt a bit relieved the focus was off of him now. The guys all walked down the hall, towards the school exit. Even though he felt relieved the guys weren't questioning him anymore, Taehyung was still feeling upset at himself for what happened. Or in this case, what didn't happen.

Yoongi looked over and noticed Taehyung looked like he was in deep thought as they walked out of the school. After seeing what happened in the hallway and now Tae's somber demeanor, he quickly put two and two together. Something must have been going on between him and Jungkook. He leans over and whispers while the other guys were busy talking~ "Hey are you alright?"

Tae nodded slowly, but didn't look over or say anything. Yoongi says~ "Yeah right...tell me what's going on."

Tae: "It's not important.."

YG: "Something happened between you and Jungkook, didn't it?"

Tae didn't say anything, but his silence spoke volumes. Yoongi says~ "Why don't we go grab something to eat and we can talk about it?"

Tae: "I don't want to bother you with my stress."

YG: "You aren't bothering me, for god's sake. You still are allowing me to be your friend after what I did to you. I know I can't ever fix that but let me at least listen to your issue."

Taehyung was happy to see Yoongi was attempting to fix their friendship. For that reason alone he agreed. The two split up from the other guys and made their way to a cafe not too far away from the school.

After the two ordered and were waiting for their food to arrive, Yoongi says~ "So, tell me what going on with you and Jungkook. He looked pretty upset when he left class today."

Taehyung let out a sigh and rested his hand on his head. He felt ok sharing it with Yoongi because he already knew about their relationship, and he was confident he wasn't going to say anything to the others after what happened.

Tae: "He wanted me to kiss him in front all those people...to prove I cared about him."

Yoongi knew how much Taehyung cared about other people's opinions of him,, so he could already tell where this was going.

YG: "Let me guess. You were a pussy and didn't?"

Taehyung looked up at Yoongi from the table says~ "I'm not a pussy..."

YG: "I'm sorry to say but...yeah you are."

Tae: "We barely started High school...I don't want to start of my first year being known as a gay freak. Remember that one guy in 7th who was caught kissing another guy? He was beat up! And I don't know if you noticed, but lots of people who we went to middle school with came here too. Word would go around so fast if I had kissed Jungkook.."

YG: "I mean, I guess I understand where you're coming from. But still...If I were gay like you I would happily take criticism and maybe even a couple punches if it meant I got to possibly sleep with Jungkook for the rest of my life."

Tae looked back up at him, Yoongi continues~ "Just think about it. If you did that for him, I'm sure you would get ass every night. Or day."

Tae bit his lip as he started thinking back at what Jungkook had done for him. A pink slowly creeping over his cheeks as he was imagined it.

Yoongi snapped his fingers in front of Tae's face when he noticed Tae had drifted off into another world. He says~ "Earth to Taehyung."

Tae snapped out of it and looked back over at Yoongi, says~ "I'm not worried...Jungkook will forgive me like he always does. In a couple days he will be on his knees again."

Yoongi lifted his eyebrow, says quietly so one one around heard~ "His knees? He gave you a blow job??"

Taehyung's somberness turned into confidence as he was now convinced himself Jungkook would forgive him. He says in a confident, almost smug, tone~ ~"Yep...who would have known I could get someone like Jungkook to turn naughty."

YG: "Lucky bastard...is that why you were late to lunch?"

Taehyung crossed his arms behind his head and leaned back against the chair~ "Mhhmm."

YG: "Was he good??"

Taehyung says with a smirk~ "Good is an understatement."

YG: "Wow, awesome...so, you seem pretty confident you two are going to work things out."

Tae: "Of course I am. I mean...yes, I was worried at first, but trust me...he likes me too much to drop me for good."

YG: "So tell me the truth...do you actually like him? Or are you just planning on dropping him after you see what it's like to have sex with him..?"

Tae: "Of course I like Jungkook. He's cute." The waitress came over and sat the food on the table. Tae began stuffing his face as soon as she walked away.

YG: "So, cute huh..? You have nothing to add to that?"

Tae says with a mouthful of noodles~ "...and nice."

YG: "Cute and nice? But aren't you supposed to find specific things about a person that you like about them? Cute and nice is ok...but usually you are supposed to find something unique about the person."

Tae: "You know I'm not the type to talk about that...I have other reasons ok? I just don't like to talk all mushy like that.."

YG: "What do you suppose Jungkook likes about you?"

Tae: "Him and I haven't sat down and talked about it...but I know one thing he likes. He used to get so turned on when I was rough with him in middle school."

YG: "You're going to bully your boyfriend?"

Tae: "No, I wouldn't ever be mean to Jungkook again. But, I think maybe he would like to be...put in his place." He took a bite of his food and smirked.

Yoongi shook his head, says~ "Sometimes I wonder how your mind works."

Jimin and Jungkook were sitting on the porch at Jungkook's house. The two had just had a long conversation about what happened at school.

JM: "Well, I'm really sorry I disregard everything you said. But I honestly wasn't trying to make Taehyung feel like an idiot or anything...I was just trying to make you realize he didn't know the simple things about you. Before you did something you regret with him."

Jungkook looked down and twiddled his fingers.

JM: "You already did...didn't you? Please don't tell me you let him take your virginity."

JK: "I already told you we didn't do that."

JM: "Then what did you do?"

JK: "We talked.."

JM: "And..?"

JK: "Kissed.."

JM: "And..?"

JK: "It wasn't anything that bad.."

JM: "Come on Jungkook. Just tell me."

JK: "I..."

Jimin stared at him intently, waiting for him to finish. Jungkook continues~ "You know..." He pointed to his mouth, he was too embarrassed to say it.

Jimin stared at him blankly, says~ "You french kissed each other?"

Jungkook face palmed himself, says~ "No." He pressed his tongue against the side of his cheek and gave a subtle hand gesture near his mouth.

Jimin's eyes widened. He smack Jungkook's arm and says loud, causing people who were walking by to jump~ "JEON JUNGKOOK!" Jimin couldn't believe his ears, or eyes in this case.

Jungkook rubbed his arm in the place Jimin had hit him, he says~ "Ow...! What was that for??"

Jimin whispers~ "What happened to my innocent little Jungkookie? You aren't supposed to be doing that kind of stuff right now. You're only 16!"

JK: "Practically 17 Jimin...my birthday is only 2 months away."

JM: "Still, that doesn't make any difference. You shouldn't be acting so...adult."

Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck, says~ "Well...I wanted to do it for him."

JM: "But why? He doesn't even deserve your lips on his cheek, let alone his-"

JK: "Because I didn't want him to leave me and find someone else. So I figure if I at least did that for him, he would be satisfied until we...you know...took the next step."

JM: "Leave you? So you two are in an actual relationship now?"

Jungkook threw his head back and let out a groan~ "I don't know! I think we were getting to that point but then you had to come in and ruined everything."

JM: "He didn't even know your birthday for god's sake Jungkook. And besides, even if you two were in a relationship...doing that to him just so he doesn't get bored with you? I don't like that you had to feel that way. You can't be that desperate for him.."

Jungkook covered his eyes, says~ "I'm not...I just get weird around him."

JM: "It's too bad I don't have anti-Taehyung spray that I could spray on you."

Jungkook let out heavy sigh and brought his knees up, held onto them. Jimin rubbed his back, comforting him.

JM: "You're not a bad person for doing what you did. You just...are easily persuaded."

JK: "But, he didn't ask me...we were just kissing and then I did it."

JM: "Maybe he didn't ask you directly, but he seduced you into doing it."

JK: "Well either way, I did it.."

The two sat there in silence, Jimin still rubbing his back. The two sat there for a few minutes before Jimin eventually speaks up~ "It just surprise me to see you acting this way. I mean, I remember when you were a wee Kookie..you always said you would never kiss anyone because you thought it was "yucky"." He chuckled softly.

Even though Jungkook was a bit sad, he couldn't help but to let out a slight chuckles as well. The two sat there and let out a sigh at the same time.

JK: "It's too bad things aren't like that anymore. I miss being little kids."

JM: "No worries.."

JK: "No regrets.."

JM: "...no Taehyung."

The two looked over at each other, Jimin had a slight grin on his face. Jungkook nudged him with his elbow.
...

The two were sitting there,, staring out at the sky when they heard talking coming from across the street.
~
YG: "Yeah, you can stay the night if you want. My parents aren't home and you can throw your uniform in the wash.".

Tae: "Thanks.."

The two glanced over to Jungkook's house and noticed Jimin and Jungkook were sitting on the porch. The four all stopped everything the were doing and stared at each other for a few moments.

As Jungkook was staring at Taehyung, he slowly felt his anxiety creeped back up. He scrambled up to his feet and says~ "I-I forgot to brush my teeth."

Jimin gave Taehyung a glare before he follow Jungkook into the house.
~
YG: "So, are you still as confident as you were before? He ran prettyy quickly."

Tae: "Just watch, he'll run just as quickly back into my arms. I give it a day. Two days max."
