Tae says while staring at the ring~ "He proposed already...? Don't you think this is a bit too soon?" He wasn't very surprised at this sudden news, since he was already assume the day was going to come that the two got married. But he was a bit confused as to how it could happen so fast. After all, the two had only been dating for a little over 8 months.

JN: "I don't think it's too soon."

Tae: "Have you even had a chance to plan the wedding?"

Jina held her hand out to the living room towards the women who were sitting on the couch, says~ "Why do you think all my friends are here?"

Tae looked over and noticed some wedding catalogues and decoration magazines scattered on the table. He says~ "Well, ok...I'm assuming you guys do not have a date in mind though, right?"

JN: "We are hoping within the next couple months. We're planned for September."

Tae: "Couple months?! You and Hojin are crazy..."

JN: "The two of us really care about each other, so why prolong it? We want to hurry and make it official."

Tae: "I don't know. It just seems like this is going way too fast to me..."

JN: "You'll understand when you find someone that you really care about."

Tae's mind started drifted to Jungkook when she said that. Jina kept talking, but he pay no attention.

He stared ahead as he was in deep thought about what transpired after class. A pink crept over his cheeks as he was picturing Jungkook's blushing face, the sound of his shaky voice replaying in his mind. It brought back the memory of when they kissed the night at Jungkook's house.

He somewhat understood what Jina meant. After all, things happened pretty fast between him and Jungkook. Disliking each other one day, then the next they were kissing seemingly out of nowhere.

Jina waved her hand in front of Taehyung's eyes, says~ "Are you even listening to me?"

Taehyung blinked and looked over at her. He had no clue what she was saying, but he says anyway~ "Of course I am."

JN: "Alright...well, there is one more thing I should probably tell you. I've been putting it off, but everything is happening so fast and I need to tell you now." She took a deep breath in before she says~ "Hojin and I had been looking for a house to buy all summer, and we have finally found the perfect one."

Taehyung was about to start going off on her for springing this all on him at once, but he restrain himself after a thought popped into his mind. He says~ "Wait...I can work with this."

Jina gave him a confused look as she says~ "Work with what?"

Tae: "Oh, uh it's nothing. Thanks for not waiting any longer to tell me." He was about to head out of the kitchen, but Jina stopped him by touching his shoulder.

JN: "I know you and Jungkook are having a little fight, but as soon as we move in together you will see how nice it is to have a family. You boys will forget all about your differences." She pats his shoulder before she continues~ "Plus...aren't you excited that you're finally going to have a brother??"

Tae almost gagging at the word 'brother.' He says~ "STEP brother. Don't call him my brother...it's creepy."

JN: "How is it creepy?"

Tae thought back at the times him and Jungkook had kissed and touched. He says~ "Just trust me...it is."

As Taehyung was walking out of the kitchen, Jina says~ "Oh! And I'll be picking you and Jungkook up after school tomorrow so you two can pick out a suit for the wedding. I expect you two not to fight!"

Taehyung walked upstairs, the whole time thinking about something as he walked to his room~ "If Jungkook and I live in the same house...he will have to talk to me." He went into his room, laid down on the bed and started thinking about ways he could get Jungkook to like him again. Now that Jungkook would be living in the same house as him, he would have more access to him than Jimin would. Tae continues thinking~ "Now I don't have to worry about Jimin interrupting."

JK: "Wow...I'm so happy for you dad." He says with a forced smile, trying to sound enthusiastic about the news of Hojin and Jina's engagement.

HJ: "I'm so glad you're taking this well. It's going to be great! We will all be a happy family."

JK: "When is the wedding...?"

HJ: "That's the thing...we want to have it before summer ends. We were hoping to get married on the first day of September."

JK: "What? But that's my birthday.."

HJ: "I know. But think about it...two happy celebrations in one day! Isn't that great?? Plus...it was the only day they had the chapel available before summer ends."

JK: "I mean...I guess it's ok."

HJ: "And you're getting older now Jungkook. You don't really want a big party, right? Of course you will still get presents and cake, but you're not a kid anymore."

Jungkook was a bit sad, the thought of not having a party bummed him out. But he didn't want to get in the way of his father's happiness, so he says~ "Yeah it's fine...getting married is much more important than a birthday. I have tons of them...and marriage only happens at most a few time in a person's life."

HJ: "Thanks for understanding. You're a good son." He patted Jungkook's back.

JK: "So...this means we are all going to live together huh?"

HJ: "Yes. In fact, the person is already willing to sell it to us. We can move in as soon as we pay."

Jungkook was even sadder by this news. Having grown up in the house they were living in currently, it hurt him to think that his dad would be selling it to strangers. But once again, he didn't want anything to ruin his father's happiness and decides to just bottle up his feelings.

JK: "Wow, this is...great. I can't wait to see it.."

HJ: "Well, it won't be much longer before you get to. Jina and I are already getting ready to start the necessary steps to get things started."

JK: "You guys must really have your stuff together...most people don't just jump up and do something so life changing this soon. But...ok, more power to you." He stood up.

HJ: "Are you sure you're ok with this Jungkook? Because you can tell me."

JK: "No. I'm fine...I couldn't be better. I just hope you guys know what you're getting into."

As Jungkook was walking upstairs, Hojin say~ "Well, thanks for being so understanding Jungkook! You and Taehyung should start working things out before we decide to move. It would be much better for all of us."

Next Day | school

Jimin and Jungkook were walking up the path towards the school when Jungkook says~ "Well. My dad and Jina are getting married."

JM: "What? No! This is awful!!"

Jungkook looked over at Jimin, surprise by his reaction. he says~ "Wow Jiminie. You sound even more distraught than I am."

JM: "Do you know what this means?!" He stepped in front of Jungkook and placed his hands on his shoulders, he continues~ "You and Taehyung are going to be living together. You guys will be around each other pretty much 24/7!!"

JK: "Yes, I'm aware Jimin."

JM: "Aren't you freaked out? He's probably going to spy on you when you're sleeping and showering!!"

JK: "Taehyung can be a pervert but I doubt he is a creepy pervert."

Jungkook and Jimin continued walking, Jimin gets a bit quieter as he was speaking~ "Just wait...you'll be laying in bed just minding your own business when you feel a presence standing behind you. You slowly turn around...AHH! Taehyung is standing there recording you while you're sleeping." He covered his mouth and gasped dramatic, says as if he were Jungkook~ "OH MY GOD TAEHYUNG WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! I'M NAKED!"

Some students who were walking around looked to Jimin like he was a lunatic. Jungkook widened his eyes, he was wasn't expecting Jimin's sudden outburst. JK says~ "Has anyone told you that you have a wild imagination?"

JM: "My drama teacher always said my imagination was "certainly unique"."

JK: "So was this a fear of yours...or a fantasy?"

Jimin looked over at Jungkook, says bluntly~ "Both."

JK: "You confuse the hell out of me." Jungkook laughed hard before he continues~ "You don't want me to have anything to do with him, yet you imagined him and I in one of the most awkward sexual scenarios that could happen."

JM: "Hey! I never said I was normal. And I mean, I'm not gonna lie. You guys would be cute together if he wasn't such an ass."

JK: "Then why didn't you think of a cute scenario instead of a creepy one?" He chuckled and shook his head, continues~ "Nevermind...let's just end this topic right now."

Jimin says in a peppy tone~ "Okeydokey!"

Jungkook looks around, feeling a bit embarrassed. He noticed students were still giving them weird looks as they walking into the school building. He says~ "Great. Now the whole school thinks we're weirdos."

Lunch

After finishing up talking with the teacher, Taehyung hurried out of the classroom after Jungkook who was walking to the place him and Jimin met up for lunch.

Tae called out to Jungkook~ "Kookie! Wait up!"

Jungkook turned around and seen Taehyung coming up to him, he was waited for him since there was really no reason for him to run. He was a bit surprised that Taehyung called him 'kookie', usually Jimin and his dad were the only one who called him that.

On the other hand, Taehyung was also surprised at himself for calling Jungkook that out loud. It just sort of slipped out. The two waved it from their minds though.

Tzuyu who was standing at the side of the hall talking to her friends, looked over at the two boys. She thinking~ "Kookie..? Where have I heard that?" She stood there thinking about it when she remembered Taehyung's mom mention it.

TY: "Wait...Jungkook is kookie??"

Her friends looked over at her confused, they didn't know what she was talking about.

JK: "What do you want?"

Taehyung and Jungkook walked down the hall side by side, talking~ "I'm assuming you've heard the news."

Jungkook says simply~ "Yep." He still felt a bit uncomfortable talking to Taehyung.

Tae: "Well, my mom wants to take us to look for suits today." Tae let out a groan before he continues~ "I seriously can't believe how much they are rushing this."

JK: "Well, we just have to be supportive of them. Despite what we think."

Tae: "I guess...so you coming?"

JK: "Yeah, I guess I have to."

Tae: "Maybe when we are done...we can grab something to eat?"

JK: "Taehyung..."

Tae: "What? It's just dinner. Nothing else."

JK: "Sounds like a date to me.."

Tae: "It's not. It's just, I heard there is a place that sells awesome burgers...and I just thought you might like to try one from there since I know how much you like cheeseburgers."

Jungkook looked over at him and says~ "Wait...you actually remember that?" Jungkook was referring to a day in 2nd grade when the class shared their favorite food. Jungkook's favorite food at the time were cheeseburgers.

Tae: "Of course I do. You were very passionate about them." He chuckled.

The two were distracted when Jimin called out to Jungkook, motioned him over.

JK: "Well...I'll see you after school then." Jungkook walked over to Jimin, rubbing his arm.

JM: "Why were you and Taehyung talking?"

JK: "We have to go and try on suits. And we might stop and have burgers."

JM: "Burgers? You guys are going out for burgers??"

JK: "I haven't decided yet."

JM: "I don't think you should. You're letting your guard down again Jungkook."

JK: "I am not. It's just burgers."

JM: "Burgers are code name for sex. And sex with Taehyung leads to inevitable heartbreak."

Jungkook looked over at Jimin, says through a laugh~ "Burgers are code name for sex? Are you listening to yourself?? You have officially gone nuts."

JM: "It doesn't take a brain scientist to figure out he is just trying to get into your pants Jungkook. It's probably apart of a plan he has."

Jungkook put his hand on Jimin's shoulder, says~ "Maybe you should give your brain a rest for awhile."

JM: "Don't say I didn't warn you."

As the two walked down the hall, Jungkook smiled to himself slightly, thinking about what Taehyung said. He found it kind of sweet how Taehyung remembering something from so long ago.

After School

JK: "I'll be waiting for you outside."

Tae: "Ok, I'll be out there soon."

After Taehyung was done talking to the teacher, he walked out of the classroom. As he went to stepped out, he jumped back a bit. To his surprise Tzuyu had pop up right in front of him.

Tae: "Oh, um, hi Tzuyu. I see you changed your hair...it's nice."

Tzuyu gives an insincere smile and says~ "Thanks."

Tae: "What do you need?"

TY: "So...how's your girlfriend?"

Tae: "She's fine...why?"

TY: "No reason. So...Kookie was her nickname, was it?"

Taehyung put his hands in his pocket, looked at her strange and says~ "Um...yeah? Why?"

TY: "Oh I don't know...I just find it really strange how your "girlfriend" has the same nickname as Jungkook."

Tae: "You act like cookie isn't a very common nickname."

TY: "True, true...so then, why don't you tell me who exactly your girlfriend is."

Tae: "Um, she doesn't go to this highschool."

TY: "Oh, ok. Then tell me her name...I'll find her on Facebook." She pulled her phone from her pocket.

Tae: "What does this matter to you??"

TY: "I'm just curious is all. First and last name please."

Tae: "I'm not going to have this conversation. I have somewhere I have to go." He went to walk off, Tzuyu following behind.

TY: "Wow you're getting pretty irritated at a simple question."

Tae: "I don't even get why you're asking me this."

TY: "All I'm asking you for is her name. If you have nothing to hide, why don't you just tell me?"

Taehyung said a random name of a girl that he had a crush on a long time ago~ "Lee Ara. There you happy?" He sped up ahead of her towards the entrance.

Coincidentally, the girl Taehyung happened to name was a girl Tzuyu was familiar with. Tzuyu messaged the girl, asked her if she had that nickname. To not much surprise, she didn't.

Tzuyu says to herself~ "Thought so."
