Nandini was absolutely clueless what Manik was saying. Nyonika and Shrikant were curious to know what Manik has in store for them. Mr. and Mrs. Murthy were puzzled as in how Manik would know that they have had a discussion before they approved to be the prospective groom for Nandini. "Nandini, listen to me very keenly, ye 1 saal ki pehle ki baat hai, I was a consultant at King George Hospital too, I used to go very often then. Last year, a girl in her twenties brought someone to the hospital who was hit by a car. He was in a pool of blood, the girl said he is her husband. Believe me, none of us could believe what she told because that man is about 40 years old, we continued the treatment. He was in coma for a week and the girl came everyday to hospital, never she did cry. I talked to her, she said she will bear the charges" Nandini had something on her mind constantly.

"And I paid the bill after a week, that doctor told me that he was okay" Nandini said. Everyone was confused as what they are talking. "And I was the doctor who told you" Manik said. Nandini couldn't remember the doctor she talked to as he wore a mask. "That was the first time I met you Nandini, tum final year medical student thi, I came to a seminar to your college too, uske baad bhi kai baar dekha tumne. I've started liking you then. I know tum mujhe jaanti nahi thi but I had constantly followed you, maine tumhare baare mein sab kuch jaan na chahtha tha" he said. "I knew that you never saw me, maine try kiya tha but I was scared" he continued. "Phir mujhe pata chala ki chacha chachi wanted you to get married, chacha ne jo matrimony site pe tumhe enroll kiya, that was because of me. Out of all the girls, my mom selected you and chachu selected me, ye dono ko ab abhi lagta hoga ki ye hume milane ki koshish kar rahe hai" Manik looked at them.

"Chacha, chachi, mom I want to apologize all of you because I was the one who tricked you. Sab kuch sahi chal raha tha, but Nandini tumne mujhe seedha reject kar diya, wahi hua jiske wajhe se main dar gaya tha, I was scared of your rejection. I was already broken Nandini, because of Alya, usne mujhe career ke liye chod ke chali gayi, mere saath mere maa, papa ko bhi bahut taqleef hua, isliye maine socha iss baar agar shaadi hui tho uski pasand ki honi chahiye. Mom ne tumhe pasand kiya, she liked you. Tum dono ki birthday ek hai and that was an added advantage" Nyonika remembered how Manik didn't object much when she asked him to go along with her to see the girl. "Par Nandini, tumne bhi wahi kiya, career ke liye mujhe reject kiya. I thought tum mere saath hogi agar tum ussi hospital mein internship karogi jaha main work kar raha hu. Mukti ke against jaake maine tumhare selection kiya" Manik said.

"Mujhe nahi pata tha Nandini tum kis situations ki baat kar rahi ho jab ki wo saare situations humare liye create kiye gaye hai, I'm sorry for all that Nandini, I never wanted to say all this but aaj mujhe batana pada, kya ab bhi tumhe lagta hai ki main tumse pyaar nahi karta hu?" Manik asked her. Nandini is elated to listening to Manik and doesn't know how to react. All this felt like a dream to her. And never in her craziest dreams she expected Manik, whom she loved had a secret crush on her. His confession justified the way he portrayed himself as secret admirer. This wasn't enough and what he does next was just a beautiful sight to watch. Manik went on his knees to propose her.

"Ms. Nandini Murthy, I want to be with you when you sneak out for ice cream at mid-nights, I want to be with you when you don't understand whether to do an injection or give a tablet to a kid, I want to be with you when you want to be with yourself. I want to be with you in your happiness and anger. I promise main tumhara mood swings bhi handle kar lunga. I LOVE YOU NANDINI" he said. "Main abhi bhi wahi hu Nandini jaha 1 saal Pehle tha, itni paas hokar bhi tumse bahut dhoor" Manik waited for her response. His mobile rang and flashed the hospital name on its display screen. "Hello" Manik answered the call. "Main abhi aa raha hu" he told before cutting the call. "Nandini..." she interrupted before he spoke.

"I know there must be an emergency, you should go" she told him. "Thank you" he said wholeheartedly. He apologized others as he had to leave. Manik left in a hurry and Nandini thought that it might be an emergency. Manik was blank after the call. He didn't believe what the receptionist said and wished that should not be true. "Sir, Dr. Alya is fell unconscious in the common room, lagta hai unhone suicide kar liya", that was all he heard on the phone. He rushed to hospital and saw a nurse waiting for him at the entrance, whom he called as she is on duty. "Main aap hi ka intezaar kar rahi hu doctor" she said. "Kaisi hai Alya? kaha hai?" he asked as he rushed inside. Receptionist was standing near the ward where Alya is. "Ek ward boy ne dekh liya doctor jab Dr. Alya andar behosh thi. There wasn't any duty doctor then, records mein check kiya tho aap hi ka number mila mujhe, maine turanth aapko call kiya" she said.

He looked at Alya who just lied on the bed without consciousness. "I think she is out of danger doctor, maine salt water pilaya" nurse told him. "Jaldi se, ye tablets mangwana and after that, we need a complete stomach wash for her" Manik said giving her prescription. Nurse was about to leave with receptionist but he stopped them. "Suniye, ye baat kisiko mat batana junior doctors ya, Dr. Mukti ko, I will take her to her home and please get the ambulance ready too" he requested them. They nodded yes and did as Manik told them. Manik took Alya to her home in the ambulance. He asked her maid to help him. She made everything as Manik told her.

It was another morning for Aryaman but it will not be the same for him after that day. He had a sound sleep after the party night. He took shower and got ready. Cabir called him as he knew that day is going to be tough for him. "Hospital aa rahe ho kya?" Cabir asked. "No, I took a leave today" Aryaman said as he got ready. "I was with you all day and when did you ask Mukti ma'am for a leave?" Cabir asked. "I dropped a message to her in the morning today" he laughed. "Kya karne wale ho Aryaman?" Cabir sympathized with him. "Bhul gaya kya, aaj Sanju aur Rakesh ki shaadi hai, mujhe jaana hai" he told. "You will not do anything like that Aryaman" Cabir sounded serious. "Ha chahe tho tum bhi aana but you cant stop me" Aryaman have cut the call. He went to Registrar of Marriage office where Sanju and Rakesh are set to get married.

He went there even before they arrived. Sanju wore a golden yellow saree with minimal makeup and saw Aryaman as she got down from the car. "Hi Sanju, Shaadi Mubarak ho" he said with a broad smile. Sanju is taken aback seeing him. "Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?" Rakesh fumed on seeing him. "Arre bhai, ye government office hai, this isn't your private place or your hospital, I can be here and no one has a right to ask me" Aryaman smirked at him. "Chalo hum jaate hai" Rakesh said to Sanju as they left. They entered into the office and registrar wished them. "Sir, witness sign karne wale bhi aaya hai kya?" he asked Rakesh. "Yeah, wo log bhi aa rahe hai" he told him. "Ok sir, I will make the arrangements soon, you can keep your garlands here" he told as he left. "Oh shit, hum mala le aana hi bhul gaya" Sanju said to Rakesh.

"Aakhir friends hai kiske liye Sanju, I already got them" Aryaman said as he placed the garlands on the table. The officer returned after a minute. "Sir, agar jaldi ho jaye tho acha hai, witnesses aa gaye?" he asked. "Kya baat hai, witnesses nahi hai tho main sign kar lu?" Aryaman asked the officer. "Tum kaun ho?" he asked Aryaman. "I'm the bride's friend, hum ladki wale hai" Aryaman said. "Ye kaafi hai sir, aur aapke taraf se bhi ek aadmi ho tho chalega" he said to Rakesh. "No need of him, mere parents aa rahe hai" Rakesh said angrily. Sanju looked at him and asked him to call his parents. Within no time, his parents were there and Aryaman cordially invited and served them tea. "Tum kya apni naukri chodke yaha part time peon ke kaam bhi kar rahe ho?" Rakesh insulted him.

"Itna tho mera farz banta hai, yahi wo log hai jisne meri Sanju ka khayal rakha itne din" Aryaman said. Rakesh is instigated by him. "Sanju tumhari nahi hai" he made it clear to him. "Yeah, I meant my friend Sanju and they also deserve this, finally they get to see their bahu after all" he said. "Yes sir, that's a good idea, tab tak main saare kaam nipta dunga" he said as his parents signed the marriage consent form as witness. "Sir, ladki ki taraf se bhi koi hona chahiye witness" the officer said. "My parents are here na, do it as you want" Rakesh wanted to end the matter soon. "Sir please ye rules hai hi aise, madam ki bhi 2 witness honi chahiye" he said. "Mujhe lagta hai aap sab ki ek family picture hona chahiye abhi" Aryaman suggested. "Nahi, I will arrange someone as a witness" he tried calling but no one has picked up his call and he was getting late. "Ok Aryaman, tum hi sign kar lo" Aryaman readily signed as a witness and called up Cabir immediately. "Cabir, Sanju ki shaadi mein ek aur witness kam pad gaya jaldi aao" he cut the call after he spoke to him.

"Rakesh ji, aap Cabir ko jaante hai na, wo bhi Sanju ka doctor reh chuka tha" Aryaman said to him. "Wo abhi aa raha hai 2 minute mein yaha hoga" Aryaman said as he waited for Cabir. "Sir, tab tak aap sign kijiye" Rakesh was asked to sign and he did. Cabir came there and wished Rakesh. "Shaadi aur bacha Mubarak hai Rakesh sir, I've got sweets even" Cabir said. "Bacha! tum kya bol rahe ho Cabir" Aryaman said with sarcasm. "Aryaman, I didn't come alone, main Rakesh ji ke liye uski biwi aur bacha lekar aaya, kaha hai wo!" Cabir went out and came inside with a lady and a baby boy. Sanju is clueless and don't know what is going on. "Rakesh ji, pehchana isse! At least identify your own son" Cabir said. "Kya hua? Kal raat hi tho milke aaya na inn dono se, abhi bhul gaye" Aryaman said.

"What nonsense? I don't know who they are?" Rakesh said angrily. "We know you but Aryaman and Cabir bhi kam nahi hai, subah subah uthke iske ghar gaya tumhare baare mein sab kuch bataya, iss bacha ka DNA test bhi karwaya, aapke against police complaint bhi file kiya and un logon ko saare proofs de kar unhe yaha le bhi aaye, dekho hum har kaam time pe karte hai" Cabir said. "Your time is up, Rakesh ji" Aryaman said. "Kitna trust kiya tum par, tum yaha kisi aur se shaadi ke liye maan gaye" his wife asked him. "Sirf ye nahi, Lucknow main bhi ek ladki thi, aur wo iss madam ki friend hi hai, Neha Mehta, hum uske bhi statement le liya, fikar not" Aryaman said.

Rakesh's parents didn't utter a word. "Aryaman lagta hai in dono ko sab kuch pata hai" Cabir said. "Ha, iske help ki saath hi tho kiya isne ye sab khaand, Sanju ki galti ye hai ki wo ye logo par viswas kiya" Aryaman turned to Sanju. "Inspector, please aap inhe le jayiye" Cabir asked. His wife slapped him hard. "Wow! what a shot?" Cabir clapped. "Sanju, tumhe bhi ye karne ka mann hai kya?" Cabir asked but Sanju broke down crying. Aryaman hold her and consoled her. "I didn't know that Rakesh mera saath aisa karega, I'm sorry for not trusting you Aryaman" she cried her heart out. Rakesh and his parents were arrested by police. Sanju had a heart attack while Cabir and Aryaman took her to hospital. "Cabir, Mukti ma'am ko inform karo abhi" he said.

"I'm sorry Aryaman, hume Sanju ke liye donor chahiye hoga, she has no time left" Mukti said to which Aryaman was worried.
