Raman and Abhimanyu turned to see Ishitha standing before them. "Raman ye sab isko bolne ki zarurat kya tha?" Ishitha yelled. "Because I can't stand the fact that someone thinks so low of our relationship, hum pati patni hai Ishtha, you deserve that respect".

"Mukti, aap ki beti hai na ma'am! Why don't you tell her that?" Abhimanyu asked Ishitha. She paused for a minute. "What should I tell her that I gave birth to her before my marriage with Raman? She hates me so much and thinks that I was the one who broke Raman and Shagun. She calls me a murderer and a slut" Ishitha broke down saying this and Raman consoled her. "Control yourself, Ruhi aa jayegi".

Manik successfully completed Vibha's surgery. He asked Navya to keep Vibha under observation for the coming few hours until she gains her consciousness. "Navya?" he called her again. "Who's with Alya on duty?" he asked hesitantly. "Sir, Cabir is on duty" she said sensing his impatience.

"Yeah I'll talk to him" he said and left in a hurry. Nandini left the hospital as said by Mukti that she is not supposed to work until the issue is sorted. Manik left to be in his cabin. Navya and Cabir came to meet him. "So Dr. Navya and Cabir, how is it going?" he asked without looking at them. "Sir, Vibha is stable and gained consciousness, she said she wants to meet you". "Yeah I will definitely ome to meet her" Manik said. "Alya is under observation sir" Cabir said and Mukti came there. "Dr. Manik?" she called him and continued. "I've heard that your mother has signed as guardian for Alya, so I came to inform that police investigation starts tomorrow. Be there with your mother tomorrow" she informed him. Cabir and Navya who stood there got tensed hearing Mukti. "Yeah, Alya's sister is in abroad so I've made arrangements so that my mom could be a guardian, so she will be there tomorrow" he assured Mukti.

"Something like this never happened here, jab se yeh batch aaya hai kisi na kisi wajhe se mujhe thang karte jaa rahe hai, Dr. Navya and Dr. Cabir, be cautious and don't think that Nandini will be saved tomorrow, she is going to get what she deserves". Mukti left. "Sir, is there any way that you can save Nandini from this?" Navya asked. "Why should I save her by the way?" Manik's question stunned Navya and Cabir. They both left from there. "Nandini shouldn't have done this" said Navya to Cabir. "Kiya bhi tho aise nahi karna chahiye tha" Cabir added. Nandini went home and without talking to anyone she left to her room.

"Nandu, tujhe kya hua? jab se aayi ho tab se kuch bol nahi rahi" her chachi tried to ask Nandini. Meanwhile Nyonika came there. "Chalo Nandini, hum shopping par jaate hai" Nyonika dragged Nandini. "Shanno ji, I thought I should take her out for shopping and mera birthday aa raha hai iss hafte mein tho" she said to Nandini's chachi. "Ha, what a coincidence, even Nandini's birthday is also in this week, you can surely take her out, Nandu tum bhi ek saree lena" she allowed Nandini to go with Nyonika. She thought Nandini will become normal. She went out with Nyonika.

Aryaman, Navya and Cabir were worried for Nandini. "Nandini aisa nahi karna chahiye tha" Navya panicked. "I think hume ek baar Nandini se milna hai, we'll go to her place" Aryaman declared. "Cool shift ke baad challenge" Cabir agreed and Navya had a blank expression. "Oh Madhubala, aise kya dekh rahi ho, tum bhi aaoge na" he asked firmly and she nodded reluctantly. "Nandini, which saree you want to buy, and look here does this suit me?" Nyonika asked trying a saree in a shop.

"Ha aunty, the color looks gorgeous on you and I'm looking for a Kanjivaram saree, but yaha Mumbai mein wo milna mushkil hai. I've already tried many times" she said in a low voice. "Kanjivaram saree?" Nyonika smiled. "Yes, that used to be my favorite when I was a child. I always used to adore it whenever my mom wear it when I was a kid. I miss mumma papa so much" she became silent. "Acha, tum ye wali try karo" she selected a saree for Nandini. "No aunty, I'm not in a mood for shopping, please can we do this some other day" she waited for Nyonika's reply. "Manik bhi yahi kehta hai, wo jo kuch bhi kaha" she acted miserable to gain Nandini's attention. "Aunty, Manik sir ne jo kuch bhi bola I don't think he meant the same" Nandini supported Manik. "See when you can console me, why don't you do it to yourself Nandini" she tried to explain Nandini.

"Aise situation mein tum iss tarah weak ho gaye tho it would mean that you are accepting that you're at fault" she caressed Nandini's hair. "But what could I do?" Nandini asked her. Nyonika's phone just rung and saw that it was Manik who is calling her. She cuts the call. "Chalo ghar chalte hai I will drop you home"

Aryaman, Navya and Cabir reached Nandini's place and finds that she went out. "Kuch baat hai Cabir? Nandini was also looking dull when she came home. Why did she come home early she said she has night duty tonight" her chachi asked worriedly. "Uski shift jaldi khatam hua tho wo jaldi aa gayi bas, hum normally use milne aaya hai aunty" Cabir lied confidently but chachi could make out that there is something wrong. "Navya tu sach bata, kya hua?" they had to say everything to her. "Kal police aayenge enquiry ke liye" Aryaman finished. They heard the door sound and saw Nandini hearing them.

"Police?" Nandini is shocked. "Tu tension mat le Nandu, sab theek ho jayega" Navya tried to console her. "Haa, iss baat ka koi proof bhi nahi hai, whatever happened is happened" Aryaman said. "So you all believe that I actually pushed Alya!" she said with a weak tone. "Nandini!" Cabir tried to talk but Nandini interrupted him. "Tum sab jao yaha se, please leave" she said and went to her room. They all left having no other option. Chachi brought dinner for Nandini.

"Kuch khaa lena Nandu, aisa hai tho tum kamzor padh jaogi, meri Nandu strong hai na!" she tried to feed Nandini. "Chachi no one believes me, not even my friends" she said to her chachi. "Cabir said that we have no proof also, how will you prove Nandu" she got an idea. "Chachi waha koi CCTV cameras tho nahi tha but Alya ka mobile camera on tha, when she entered the common room her mobile camera was on and when she fell down, I saw that her phone fell aside but haven't seen it after that" she got flashes of the memories about the incident. She remembered that Alya's phone fell down and expected it to lay there.

"Chachi mujhe jaana hoga abhi" she said and got ready for hospital. "Tu akeli kaise jayegi hospital, wait I will come with you." "No chachi, I will come as soon as possible". Nandini took a cab to the hospital and reached there. It was almost 10 pm in the night when she reached there. She went in the common room and searched everywhere for the phone. She was more cautious that Mukti shouldn't see her. But luck wasn't in her favor that day and Mukti walked in to the common room. Nandini hid herself behind the cupboard. Mukti called a nurse and asked about the junior doctors. She told them that everyone left. Mukti left from there annoyed.

Manik went to meet Vibha. "Manik, I was waiting for you since long time, where were you?" she asked. "I was little busy, now you say, kya chal raha hai life mein?" he asked smiling. "Khaana peena sona aur kuch nahi" she said laughing. "Why are you still hiding it?" he asked straight forward. "Hiding? About what?". "Tum hospital mein ho, surgery hua but no one came to see you, what about your husband? Kaha tha wo"

"Koi nahi ayega mere liye" she said. "I was married to a stubborn fool Manik. He always had a doubt on me having an affair with everyone he knows. Because of him, I had to leave my practice. I decided to divorce him after much patience, but see where I'm I? I was diagnosed with this tumor when I applied for insurance" she said. "But I'm not weak Manik, I will rise again" she said confidently. "I will cry no more now, this is my new life, YOLO, you only live once" she said. "Tell me, how are you love birds doing? Where is Alya?" she asked.

"Vibha, we broke up" he said directly. "You broke up with Alya?" she is shocked. "Yes, that's a long story. We were never meant to be. Alya is injured and now she is being treated" he said. "Now that you're back with a bang, but you still need rest, we'll talk later" he smiled seeing her and left from there. Nandini worried about the phone. She searched again and found the phone just outside the room. She took the phone smiling and turned back to see Manik.

"Tum yaha?" he asked surprisingly looking at his watch. She stood quiet. She turned to leave but he stopped her holding her hand. Her heart beat increased as he held her hand in which she held Alya's hand. Manik saw Nandini panicking and remembered how she behaved in the medical camp. "Nandini, are you okay?" he asked. She freed herself and ran from there. He followed her and found her waiting for a cab. He offered to drop her home but she didn't answer.

"Let's keep everything aside, come, I will drop you home" she thought he will not leave her and got in his car. All the way, they spoke absolutely nothing and he dropped her home. She didn't even thanked him and turned away to go home. "How rude!" saying this, Manik got out of his car and held her again by her shoulders. His proximity made her shiver and they remembered their morning kiss. "Sorry" was the only word that could skip her mouth involuntarily.

Manik left her all of a sudden and left from there. He is little surprised about her strange behavior with him. He didn't know what spell she had cast on him that even after all this, all he could remember was only the first kiss they shared. Oh wait, why did they actually kiss at the first place. Were they attracted to each other? Maybe Manik thought about his crazy hormones. Now his neurons reminded him of his mother who is super angry with him. That day was equally eventful for Manik so as for Nandini. But he always knew how to pacify his mom.

"Mom, bhook lag rahi hai? Please make some pasta" he asked his mom with a lazy puppy face. "Mein kyu, tum khud bana lena" she taunted. "Maa please that was necessary at that moment, I didn't want to hurt you really" he said again. "So wo sab Mazak tha?" she asked sarcastically. "Whatever is your punishment, I'm ready" he bowed in front of her. "Manik, I'm not angry, I'm worried about you. About you being with Alya again. Please tell me what's going on?" she demanded an explanation. "As of now I can't tell you anything but I can promise that I won't repeat my mistakes ever. I won't let you down again. Alya was a closed page in my book mom, I was just trying to help her as a friend, that's it" he said sounding confident. "But.." Nyonika tried to talk but he interrupted, "Pehle mere pasta and no more discussions about Alya, I promise I don't love her anymore" she left to make pasta for him.

"I love you mom" he shouted to her. She got pasta for him to eat. "Aaj maine shopping gayi, Nandini ke saath" she told him. "Nandini ke saath!" he exclaimed. "Ha, I bought a saree for me. It's my birthday week do you remember? And you know what it's Nandini's birthday week too. She came to buy Kanjivaram saree that too black, but how can we find it here in Mumbai. Poor girl, she was already in bad mood" she went on speaking. Manik finished eating and went to bed.

Nandini checked the phone and found its screen broken. She still tried to retrieve the information but she couldn't. She is highly disappointed. "If Manik didn't saw me, I would have got it repaired also, ye humesha mujhe kya hota hai, I feel weak before him and I don't know why"

Next morning, Mukti says Dr. Shrivastav that police will interrogate Nandini. Nandini comes to the hospital and signs in. She secretly goes out of the hospital without anyone's notice. She gets the phone repaired and the data is retrieved. Police comes to hospital and Manik sees them on the way to his cabin. "Doctor, May I know where is Dr. Mukti, unhone hume ek complaint diya?" they asked him. "Go straight and take first left, you will find her cabin" they thank him and leave. Manik thinks of Nandini and then there she is, in front of him.

"Where were you? Police came just now" he informed. "Yes I just saw now, it all happened just like you expected" she taunted him. "Nandini mind you! we'll see who would come to save you today!" he smirked.

"Alya will come to save me, don't worry" she said smiling.
