Navya didn't want to go in her past. She didn't just cut the call but switched off her painful memories. "Are you ready Navya?" Nandini asked Navya who went in to get ready. "Yeah! I'm done Nandini" Navya came out of her thoughts and Nandini then asked Cabir and Manik to get ready in her room. "I will be back in a minute" Cabir said as he got a phone call. Manik entered her room to freshen up and get ready. "So this is your room, nice" he commented. "stars, comets, veena, bachpan ke doctor set" he laughed.

"My Appa wanted me to become a doctor, my mom is a music teacher. She taught me to play veena. Now I could finally fulfil my parents' dream. But I wanted to fly and become an astronaut" she said. "Aasman mein udna chahthi thi tum wo bhi asteroid sorry astronaut banke" he controlled his laughter. "I had only option, becoming a doctor, that was my only dream. Dad is an army doctor so he is always away from us and I was fascinated by him and wanted to become like him. Mom is a designer and she had to quit her job when we learnt that she is not keeping well. I was in New York for my masters and then I learnt about her health. Then I thought of staying back with her forever" he said.

"Is that when you left Alya forever?" Nandini wanted to ask but kept silent as she doesn't want to spoil his mood. "Ok get ready and come soon" she said and closed the door. "Nandu, my birthday girl" Nandini saw her chacha. "Itne late aaye ho aap?" she asked. "Yeah, office mein late ho gaya I'm sorry. That's why I said hum kisi catering walo se khaana mangate but" he said and Nandini interrupted. "Koi zarurat nahi, Nyonika aunty aayi thi humara help karne and my friends Navya and Cabir also came" she told and Nyonika came there. "Nyonika ji, namaste" he wished.

"Hello uncle" Cabir and Navya wished him. Manik came out. "Manik beta tum bhi aaye ho" he asked and Manik replied, "Hi chacha" and smiled. They made all the arrangements for the party. Mukti called Abhimanyu. "Yes, your highness, I will pick you up at your home" he said. "How do you know that I called you for this?" she asked. "I know you Mukti" he smiled and cut the call. Mukti is happy to find a friend like Abhimanyu who knows her in and out.

"Ready to go?" Sanju came to Aryaman. "Oh you are all dolled up to go" he commented. "Aur tum abhi tak taiyyar nahi ho" she tried to take off his apron but he stopped her. "Please stop! I'll get ready in 10 minutes" he said and asked her to wait outside. "Warna 11th minute mein, main Andar aa jaungi" she said. He joined his hands to plead her and sent her out forcefully.

Abhimanyu went to Mukti's place. "Hi Abhi" she called him in. "Beautiful" the word slipped from his mouth and he is sure that she heard. "Thank you" she blushed. She went inside. "Mukti and blushing!" he is surprised. She got lemonade for him, he drank and they started. "Raman sir isn't coming?" he asked her. "No, he said he has some work" they drove off and reached the place. "Mukti you go inside, Alya has a problem in navigation, I may need to help her" he said. "Ok cool" she went inside. She saw all the preparations were done and is welcomed by Nandini, her chacha and chachi.

"Hi ma'am, thanks for coming" she said, "Dr. Shrivastav isn't here?" she asked. "Sorry Nandini, dad has some work, he couldn't make it" Mukti said. Aryaman came with Sanjana and Mukti saw them. "Hello ma'am, good evening" he wished. "You're looking gorgeous Dr. Mukti" Sanjana complimented. "You too" Mukti replied with a smile. "And you Abhimanyu! why did you get her out? As a friend you can take your friend but don't forget she is a patient too" she told in a serious tone. "But ma'am, she said she asked for your permission" he said.

"Oh yeah! I thought of apologizing you when I meet you" Sanju held her ears to apologize her. "Its okay but be careful next time" she went off from there. "Ye Mukti jitna sundar hai utna hi strict hai na?" she said to Aryaman. "Phir bhi you chose to screw me up in front of her" he is clearly annoyed. "Acha baba I'm sorry" she held her ears and he couldn't hold back his smile. Abhimanyu came back with Alya and Manik came near them. "Hey Alya, did you drive here?" Manik asked her. "yeah, navigation problem tha but I'm ok" she said. "Kitni baar bola tha maine, ok I will hire a cab at night and you can take your car tomorrow, I will send someone" he said. "But Manik" he cut her off, "and listen be careful with mom and don't take anything to heart if she says something, take care" he said and moved away from in a jiffy. "Hi Alya" Cabir and Navya called her. "You join them" Abhimanyu said. All the guests were almost there.

"Manik, seedha seedha batao, do you still have feeling towards Alya?" Abhimanyu asked. "What made you ask this?" Manik asked him. "Because of the way you behave with her" Abhimanyu said. "You promised Alya to take her home and also to bring in here. You help her with every possible problem, you care for her too and it doesn't mean that you have feelings for her!" Manik wanted to keep it short. "But I had not dropped her home nor brought her here" Abhi clarified. "Is it because we were in love in the past, you are asking me this?" Manik is trying hard not to lose temper. "Manik, I was just asking why are you getting hyper?" Abhi said and Manik realized that he was about to blast Abhi.

"That's all okay but why did you ditch Alya?" Manik asked. "Wo Mukti called me to pick her up, so Alya came alone" he said. "Are you serious Abhi? Mukti and you! Tum bet mein kaafi aage nikal tho nahi jaa raha!" Manik asked. "Look how gorgeous she is!" Abhimanyu showed Mukti who is talking to Nandini. "her hair, that contagious smile, eyes and her saree" Abhimanyu continued while Manik interrupted him, "saree?" he asked. "Ha, peach colored saree" Abhi replied. Manik is confused and thought that Abhimanyu was indeed talking about Mukti while all he could see was only Nandini. He brushed away his thoughts and is clueless about his feelings for Nandini.

Nandini invited everyone near the cake. "Happy Birthday to you" was sung once again as she cut the cake. "Naach gaana ke bina party katham kaise hoga" chachi said and played a song. "Surkh wala soz wala faiz wala love" played. Mr. Murthy had taken her hand for a dance and they danced. Abhimanyu came to Mukti and asked for her hand.

She magically swayed to his tunes and everyone clapped for them. Mukti never knew she could even dance like there's no one around her. Navya and Alya also danced beside them to imitate them but Cabir interfered and took Navya's hand. Alya was standing alone and she turned back to find Manik's hand. She took it and they all danced.

Manik twirled her and she turned back and he saw Nandini. He asked for her hand. She gave in and danced with him. She looked into his eyes and he tightened his grip while she whispered into his ears. "Leave me, everyone is seeing us" she didn't stop danced and he whispered to her, "Sirf hume nahi sab ko dekhenge, others are also dancing" he said. She saw Aryaman and Sanjana dancing beside them.

"Main kuch nahi karunga" he told her and she drew away her face from his. "Hello excuse me, are you thinking about that kiss?" he asked her. "No, not at all" she shrugged. "So you want me to kiss you again because you don't remember that too" he asked taking a chance. "No, I remember everything" she said. And they still danced. Navya pats Nandini on her back and that's when both realized that they have been dancing after the song has ended minutes before.

"Pata nahi tum log music ke bina bhi dance karte ho, good" Cabir commented. Nyonika then gifts the pendant to Nandini. "Wow! Its beautiful" she says. "I always wanted a daughter like you Nandini" she said and kissed her forehead. "Agar Manik aur tum maan jaye tho aaj tu meri bahu hoti" she said. "Ab kisi aur ki biwi ban jayegi Nyonika ji" Nandini and Manik eyed chacha. "Ab tho bolne do Shanno ji, kabhi tho bolna padega" Nyonika said to Nandini's chachi. "Ha par we don't know how to say it to her" chachi whispered and Manik talked to his mom. "Mom, what happened?" she chose not to answer him. "Murthy ji its better you tell her" Nyonika obliged him.

"Nandini, we're sorry beta we were so selfish that we never wanted you to go abroad for your further studies but Nyonika ji convinced us" he told and Nandini is happy to hear him. "Thanks chachu" she hugged him. "Bas tumhara shaadi ho jaye, internship ke baad tum jaa sakti ho New York" her chachi said. "Shaadi?" Nandini asks.

"Ha, humne tere liye ek rishta laya hai Nandini. Ladka New York mein cardio surgeon hai, Manik also know him and he has no one and don't worry chacha chachi bhi tere saath New York jayenge" Nyonika said. Manik is confused and looked at his mom. "Siddharth hai na, bahut acha hai wo, I talked to him and sent Nandini's photo, he said he will talk to you, did he call Manik?" she asked. He understood why his mom insisted to come there even after knowing Alya would come here. "No mom" Manik simply answered. Nandini looked at Manik who smiled at her and she smiled back.

Manik felt a bit uncomfortable and didn't expect his mom hiding this from him. Siddharth is a nice guy and a good friend of Manik when he was in New York. Manik went out. "Manik, I booked the cab" Alya came there to bid bye to him. "Ok be safe Alya" he said forcing a smile. "Siddharth is actually a nice guy na Manik! I mean I don't know him much but you were his room mate for few days so you knew him" Alya said. "Yes, he is" Manik said absent mindedly. "Come I will drop you till the cab" he said and accompanied till then. Manik felt not like going inside again but his mom called him. "Chalein?" she asked him and they left bidding bye to chacha and chachi. He didn't see Nandini. Navya and Cabir have also started.

Manik drove in silence and Nyonika wondered why Siddharth hadn't still called Manik. "Had a good time here" Mukti said to Abhimanyu. "Yeah" he sighed. "Wanna have more?" she asked. "What?" he asked confused. "Stop the car" she said rather ordered. "Kuch hua kya?" Abhi asked. "I said stop the car Dr. Abhimanyu Thakkar" she said a bit polite and he stopped. She got down and he followed her.

"They say na, kisi ke dil ka rasta uske pate se hi hoga, so I thought Chinese cuisine would lighten up your mood" she said pointing to a Chinese food joint. "You wanted to eat and you are blaming it on me and my mood" he said. "C'mon why are friends for Abhimanyu?" she joked and went in. "This place serves the best in Chinese cuisine, dad use to get me here often" she said.

"Oh I never knew you liked Chinese cuisine, tum ne kabhi bataya hi nahi" he asked but she stood there motionless. "Mukti, kya hua?" he shook her. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she pointed to the table nearby. Raman is feeding Ruhi and Ishitha is capturing the father-daughter moment by clicking pictures. Abhimanyu is anxious to take Mukti away from them but it's already late as Mukti went near them. "So ye hai aapke important meeting Dr. Shrivastav ji and Dr. Ishitha" she said. They both are stunned and Ruhi hugged Raman tightly. "I hate you dad oh sorry you don't even deserve to be called that" she cried. "Mukti, calm down please control yourself, this is a public place lets go" Abhi suggested. "They are shamelessly romancing at a public place and why shouldn't I ask him? You killed my mom and you are romancing her, the one who killed my mom. You both cheated on my mom, you both are bloody murderers" she shouted and people crowded around them. Ruhi started crying and Ishitha held her hand. "Ishitha, take Ruhi and sit in the car" Raman sent Ishitha away but Mukti stopped her. Raman slapped Mukti to stop her. "That's it, Dr. Shrivastav, you will also kill me one day, and I can't live in your house. I will leave tomorrow" she cried vulnerably and Abhimanyu took her away. Raman is blank and doesn't know what to answer Ishitha, Ruhi and Mukti.

Cabir dropped Navya home. She went as her mother opened door. Her phone rings but she cuts the call. "Why are you cutting the call Navya?" her mom asked. Navya showed the caller ID and her mother suggested to take the call when it rang again. "Take it Navya, just know why did they call you" she suggested and Navya hesitated to take. "Hello" she said in a low voice.

"Navya, papa met with an accident, please jaldi aa jaa beta hum lifeline hospital mein hi hai" her mom said and Navya rushed to hospital.
