"Good morning Nandini" Navya wished Nandini. "Good morning" Nandini wished. "Kya hua aise udaas Kyu ho?" Navya asked Nandini. "Nandini, tu aaj tho aaogi na phirse kuch bahaane tho nahi banaogi na?" Aryaman interrupted them. "Tum log kal shopping nahi gaye?" Navya asked Nandini. "Nahi usko kahi jaana tha tho hum aaj jaayenge shopping par" Aryaman told her. "OK guys mera ek important case hai Dr. Adithya ke saath, I should leave now, see you at the lunch" Navya took their leave.

"Cabir, this is an important case, ask the family about any medical history" Manik said and Cabir's phone rang. Manik gave a sharp glance and continued speaking but Cabir didn't cut the call. "I said this is so important but I see you still not concentrating on it" Manik said seriously. "Sir, Navya ka call hai, I'll just be back in a minute" Cabir requested but Manik didn't seem to budge. "Aakhir kab tak chalega tum logon ka masti yaha! You guys always do whatever you want, 6 months ho gaya par ab bhi seriousness nahi hai" Manik said disappointed. "Sorry sir" Cabir said cutting the call and his phone rang again immediately. "Sorry sir, I will cut the call" Cabir said as he cut the call and put his phone on silent mode. "Agli baar jab tum kaam pe ho tab phones bhi apne locker mein lagao, at least when you're working with me" Manik said. Cabir put his phone into his pocket and did whatever Manik has said.

"Tho hume ye saare tests karwane padega" Cabir said to Manik. "Yes, get them all done and reports tum carefully check karna, koi gadbad nahi chahiye mujhe" Manik said. Cabir stood there still waiting for Manik to send him for lunch. "What?" Manik asked raising his brows. "Abhi lunch time hua hai sir, bhook lag rahi hai" Cabir said. "Its just 12:30 in the noon, and moreover you were just with me since a half an hour, humesha saath mein lunch khaana hi sab kuch nahi hota, you guys need to adjust your lunch timings according to your shifts" Manik said. "Aapko problem kya hai sir, humare lunch mein, agar main late gaya tho wo log mere liye wait kar rahe hoga, no one wants others to wait for them, isliye hum sab time par lunch mein aate hai, itne stress mein bhi hum log ek dusre ko dekhke stressfree ho jaate hai, I don't know aap kya samajte hai but sorry my friends must be waiting so I'm leaving" Cabir said and Manik left speechless. Cabir took his phone out and saw Navya's message, "I'm in trouble".

Cabir ran from there as he saw the message and Manik followed him seeing Cabir's strange behavior. Cabir ran near the stairs and stopped suddenly. "What happened? Why did you run and why did you stop suddenly?" Manik asked confused. "Aaj Navya ke duty kaha pe hai?" Cabir asked. "I don't know" Manik said, "Why?" he asked curiously. "Kaise pata chalega Navya kaha hai?" Cabir was desperate to know. "Adithya ke cabin mein jaake check kar sakte hai" Manik suggested and they sneaked into his cabin. "Cabir careful unke cabin mein surveillance cameras lagi hui hai" Manik warned. "Par abhi mera concern Navya hai main nahi" Cabir said showing Navya's message to Manik. He stopped Cabir and said that he will go into Adithya's cabin. Manik entered the cabin while Cabir stood out to check whether someone is watching them. "Navya Adithya ke saath hi hai, OT-3" Manik said and they reached OT. "Sir, Andar cleaning chal rahi hai, aap kuch der baad aayenge?" a ward boy said to them. Cabir slapped him hard. "Andar cleaning chal raha hai tho baahar shoes hona chahiye na, OT mein kabse shoes pehen kar cleaning kar rahe hai tum log" Manik and Cabir went in and shocked to see Navya crying and Chandra Shekar sitting beside her.

They looked at each other trying to figure out what had happened. They saw Navya's apron and stethoscope fell on the ground. "Navya, tu yaha kya kar rahi hai?" Cabir asked seeing Navya's eyes which have turned red by now as a proof that she was crying hard since long. Manik put his hand on Cabir's shoulder and they both looked around and saw Dr. Adithya standing in a corner. Manik went near him and got hold of his collar. "Kya kiya tu ne? Navya kyu ro rahi hai?" Manik asked him. "Manik, I'm your colleague and you are not supposed to do this, don't you know your ethics and etiquettes?" Adithya said and Manik lost his temper. "Ethics aur etiquettes ke baare mein tum baat kar rahe ho? Bol tu ne kya kiya?" Manik punched harder on his face. "Manik, ye humara college nahi hai, be in your limits" Manik thrashed him before he spoke further. "Stop it!" Chandra Shekar shouted. Manik and Adithya stopped their fight and Cabir stood there. "Mujhe yaha tamasha nahi chahiye, mujhe sirf apni beti chahiye, jo ab mil gayi hai" he said as tears run down. "Papa" Navya hugged him.

"Sir, kya hua?" Cabir asked him. "Isne Navya ke saath badtameezi ki, man karta hai ki isse yahi maar dena chahiye but aisa kiya tho Navya ka hi badnaam ho jayega, isliye main chup chap yaha se jaa raha hu" he told and Manik slapped Adithya again. "Didn't you change your behavior yet?" he shouted. "No, I didn't ye dono baap beti jhoot bol rahe hai" he accused them. "Then how did her father come here?" Cabir asked Adithya. "Mujhe pata nahi hai" he chose to ignore Cabir. "Navya ne mujhe message kiya ki that she is in trouble isliye hum tum dono ko dhoondthe yaha aa gaye, please Navya tell us what happened?" he requested her.

"Morning main sab se milkar Dr. Adithya ke paas gayi tho unhone mujhe yaha milne ke liye bola. But when I came here, there were no patients here. He said that he needs to talk. He then tried to misbehave with me. I tried to go out but it was locked from outside. He then started touching me inappropriately. He said that I can call anyone and no one will come to my rescue, he gave my phone asked me to call anyone in the hospital. He asked me to call Dean, Mukti, Abhimanyu aur Manik sir. Manik sir ke number tho khud inhone hi dial kiya but it was switched off. Phir inhone mujhe black mail kiya ki agar maine aap logon ko call kiya tho wo mera kuch private video leak karega. Phir maine Cabir ko call kiya par Cabir didn't answer and I messaged him too. Then I messaged papa and he called me." Navya broke out into tears and controlled herself.

"Papa ne mujhpar chillaya ki main unse jhoot bol rahi hu. Maine papa ko bataya ki Dr. Adithya mere saath hai, he put down his phone but luckily call cut nahi hua tho papa humare conversation sun liya and I was waiting for him to come, papa sahi time pe aakar mujhe bacha liya" she said hugging her father. "Aapko kaise pata hai Navya yahi hai?" Cabir asked. "Navya ne mujhe phone mein sab kuch bataya but maine unpar vishwas nahi kiya" he confessed crying. "Kya video hai Navya ka tumhare paas?" Manik shouted on Adithya. "Do you still believe that they are speaking truth? Agar main aise kiya tho unhe phone kyu dhoonga? Why would I be here when she called her father? Ye dono baap beti jhoot bol rahe hai" he said and Cabir punched Adithya this time. "Ye dono ek dusre se baat tak nahi karte aur ye baat hospital mein sabko pata hai, aur hume Navya ke baat maan ne ke liye koi proof nahi chahiye, agar Navya keh diya tho wo sach hi hai" Cabir had beaten him and Manik stopped him. "Aise logon ko hum nahi kanoon hi saza dete hai" Manik said to Cabir. "Navya tum ek complaint do, baaki sab" Cabir said and Chandra Shekar interrupted him, "Nahi chahiye hume koi insaaf, hum nahi denge complaint, aise karne se kya hoga ye hume achi Tarah se pata hai. Aaj se Navya baahar kahi nahi jayegi, aaj tak maine Navya ke papa bankar unke liye kuch nahi kiya, par ab main unhe protect karunga, I will not let her do mistake again" he said and took Navya out. Manik followed them.

"Agar aap complaint nahi kiya tho aise logon ko saza kaise dilayenge hum?" Manik asked. "Socho agar yahi jagah aapki biwi ya behen ho tho kya karenge? Complain karenge? Kya karenge tum dono? Ye sach hai ki Navya ne hi mujhe call karke ye sab ke baare mein bata diya par isse kaun maanega, everybody will talk like Adithya who asked you both that why will he still be there when Navya called and informed me. Manik didn't understood why Adithya let Navya call someone who would come to her rescue but he still tried to molest Navya. Chandra Shekar left from there with Navya. "Isne aise kyu kiya hoga?" Cabir asked Manik. "That's exactly what I'm thinking Cabir" Manik sighed. They walked out of the OT. "Your friends might be waiting for you Cabir, don't tell them anything about it" Manik said. "Yeah I won't" Cabir sighed.

Manik thought of Nandini and searched for her. "Did you see Dr. Nandini?" he asked about her. He wasn't able to find her. "Did she log out?" he thought and went to check the register. "Ye tho abhi log out kiya" he saw and he also logged out.

He saw her standing in the parking lot. "Tu itni jaldi log out kiya aaj! Mujhe bhi bata deti" he said to her. "That goes same to you as well Manik" she said. "No, when I got to know you logged out then I logged out. Tumne koi surprise plan tho nahi kiya?" Manik asked naughtily. "No Manik mujhe kuch kaam hai, I'm going out with Aryaman" she said. "What? Hum dono ne plan kiya tha na main wapas aane ke baad hum date pe jayenge" he said. "Yeah but I have promised Aryaman that I will go for shopping with him" she said. "Tho kal jao na! Please aaj mat jaana" he made a puppy face.

"He had asked me last evening Manik maine kal bhi nahi gayi" she said to him. "Kal jo hua I'm sorry for that, wo ek unexpected incident tha, in fact I want to make it up for last night" he said and caught her by her hand. "But I have promised him and I can't break my promise" she said sternly.

"Nandini, it's just shopping if there's something important I would have asked you to go" he said. "Why should you have to let me go Manik? Why do you want to control me? Main jab chahu tab jaha chahiye waha jaungi, and I don't like you stopping me" she said setting herself free from him.

"I didn't mean it Nandini, it's just that hum itne dino baad mil rahe hai tho" he hesitated to talk. "Tho! I'm not interested to go out with you now Manik, when your friend need you, you will go there and when my friend need me why should I think of you?" she yelled at him.

"I'm so sorry. You go with him today. It seems that you are still in bad mood. It's OK will talk about it later" he said. "No I'm not Manik. I thought about us, when I joined here, I aspired to become a good neurologist but I couldn't even concentrate on it. Main personally and professionally disturbed hu" she said hopelessly. He hugged to console her. She again struggled to set herself free. "I'm tired Manik, I can fight the whole world with you but I can't fight for you with anyone" she said as tears rolled down. "What are you saying Nandini?" he asked sadly. "I want to take a break Manik" she said determined.

Manik wanted to disagree with her but his phone rang. The screen flashed Alya's name. He didn't answer it. "Answer the call Manik" she said and he had cut the call. "Ab ye important nahi hai, how could you think of it Nandini? Break matlab kya hoti hai?" he asked. His phone rang again and she was frustrated. "I can't take it all Manik, mujhe ek normal zindagi chahiye. I can't always think of you and Alya being together. I don't want to ask you again and again whether you are with Alya or not. I hate it when I have to doubt you" she confessed and his phone rang again. "Answer the call Manik, it must be important for her" she said as she wiped her tears. He had cut the call recklessly and then received a message.

"I'm in trouble" he rushed to his car as he saw the message and Nandini stood there hopelessly.
