Nandini's jaw dropped seeing his name. Navya is about to leave from there and Nandini stops her, "Navya please don't go". Navya awkwardly smile at Nandini and speaks in a whisper tone "kya hua Nandini, I have my duty and suddenly ho kya gaya tumhe?"

Before Nandini could say anything Navya bid bye to her. Manik clears his throat to get her attention who looked like a lost puppy when Navya left her alone. "Why did you say no?" Manik asked in a husky tone.

"Sir, I didn't know that you were Dr. Manik Malhotra, agar mujhe pata hota tho" Manik showed his hand signing her to stop, Nandini is confused as why he is interrupting her. "Ms. Shanaya, why did you say no to your treatment? You know na you have a tumor" Nandini hits herself with the case report for mistaking his question for her.

"Say it", Manik, this time spoke in an authoritative tone. "Dr. Nandini Murthy, will you just keep hitting yourself with the file or will you also read the medical history of the patient" he looked at her while she hung her head low. She quickly opened the file and read, "Patient name Ashika, age 42 and has a medical history of mild heart attacks".

"Good, so tumhe 24 years ki Shanaya aur 42 year old ki Ashika mein farak dikhta nahi hai, ek case report bhi sahi nahi hai, kyu aate ho yaha, I want her medical history now!" Manik roared and she shook in fear. Later she realized that she got the case report which Navya was holding in a hurry after lunch. She goes out to fetch Shanaya's reports and sees Navya.

"Nandini galti se hum dono ka reports exchange ho gaya" Navya returned the reports. She noticed Nandini being dull. "Nandini, are you fine? You look so upset, why were you stopping me when I was going out" Nandini couldn't hold back her tears when Navya asked her. "Why are you crying? Stop Nandini, we can sit and talk". Navya tried to calm her down and got water for her. Nandini takes a sip and then speaks, "he shouted on me for exchanging the reports". Navya looked at Nandini like she is a zombie. "You were crying just because he shouted, I was scared" Nandini then spoke defending herself "Navya ye wahi tha I told you na about meeting a guy, he was the one" now it is Navya's turn to open her eyes wide.

"And you said to me that he was not the one" she asked innocently. "Huh! He is not the one for me but he is the one whom I saw today, bye" Nandini took the report from her and rushed to the ward.

"So agar tumhare timepass ho gaya tho thoda apne valuable time hume bhi de dijiye" Manik snatched the report from her and read it himself. "Sir she needs to get operated before its too late" Nandini said when he looked at the reports. "So tumne preparations kiya hi hoga surgery ke liye, get the OT ready, quick". Manik is about to leave the ward when Nandini stopped him in haste.

"Sir, there's a problem, Shanaya isn't ready for getting operated". "Okay just take some time arrange it in an hour", Manik said casually.

"Sir that's not possible she isn't ready until she sees Vansh" Nandini said. That was all Nandini could speak and Manik dragged her out of the ward and took her to the adjacent room. "Aap kya kar rahe hai sir!", Nandini jerked off his hand.

"Are you dumb or what? Why you keep saying that she isn't ready for treatment, tumhe sunke wo aur bhi zid karegi not all patients are alike, I don't understand what is your problem. Just because you have a mouth doesn't mean that you should talk all the time, just keep your mouth shut or else I would have to use my own ways to shut you up!" it sounded more like a warning to her. He left from there and Nandini stood still trying to figure out what he said.

"Ayyappa, why are you doing this to me? Why me! Stupid me! I should have atleast listen to his name in the morning, my bad! Koi baat nahi, I will apologize Manik sir for being rude, I'm sure wo maan jayega, yes I will" she talked to herself.

"Nandini, you have this weird habit of talking to yourself, that too alone" Cabir listened while she was self talking. "No Cabir, I" she stopped as she found no words to say him.

"Okay, you are not okay now, come I will make up your mind in just few minutes, wanna try me?" Cabir extended his hand. "Aisa kya magic dikhaoge" Nandini asked curiously.

"Magic hi tho hai cone with me", Cabir took her hand and moved forward. "Hum kaha jaa rahe hai?", Nandini stumbled as she walked. "You talk as much as I do Nandini, don't you! Agar meri ek sagi behen hoti tho wo tumhare jaisi hogi, I'm sure" Nandini smiles at his comment.

"Here we are" Cabir takes her to the pediatric ward where the pre mature babies are kept in incubator. "Wow Cabir, they are all so cute and adorable" she giggled looking at them.

"Hai na I kept my word see your mood is all set!" he boasted and Nandini hit him playfully on his back. "Ouch" he fake cried. "Arre appreciation tho milegi na Nandini Murthy ki mood set kiya tumne", "In that case thank you ma'am, Cabir always at your service".

"OK Cabir I should go now, bye and thanks for making me smile again", Nandini leaves from there and Cabir is about to leave when he sees a baby crying. He opened the door and takes the baby in his hands. A lady doctor comes there and stops him.

"Hey who are you? Where are you taking the baby?" she shouts on him while the parents also come there who accuse him of stealing baby.
"Sir see I'm not stealing baby, baby ro raha tha there's something wrong with the baby it's not normal" Cabir tried to explain but the doctor isn't ready to listen.

"Tum hote kaun ho ye sab batane?" she demanded an explanation from him. Cabir shows his ID card and says that he is a new intern. "You are just an intern and I don't want to listen anything" she takes the baby from Cabir.

"What's going on here? Is there any problem!" Manik who happens to listen them came there. "Sir, this guy was taking baby without my notice and he is arguing with me" she complained about Cabir to Manik.

"Look, Mr. " Manik speaks turning to Cabir. "Cabir sir, new intern".

"Look Dr. Cabir why are you here? Why did you take the baby?" Manik asked Cabir.

"Sir, I was just here to see the babies and I happened to see the baby crying there's something wrong, aur ye doctor she is accusing me of stealing the baby" Cabir tried to explain.

"Doctor please aap baby ko dekhiye", the baby's parent asked Manik. He took the baby in his hand and sees that baby has a problem in breathing and that's the reason why there's a difference in her muffled voice. "Oh yeah! Get oxygen masks quickly take the baby" Manik ordered the lady Doctor Who is incharge of the pediatric ward to arrange for new oxygen masks.

The baby's parent thank Manik and Cabir for responding at right time. "Sorry sir I went overboard as he was going against the rules and took baby himself" the lady doctor apologized Manik.

"Doctor, no rules are important than a life, we made rules for a smooth functioning not to mess up, please take care of the baby" the lady doctor leaves and Manik shakes hands with Cabir. "Thank you and you've responded at right time but remember rules are not meant to be broken, I hope you will strictly follow rules from now on, considering your first mistake I'm just warning you" Cabir smiles at Manik while he looks confused at Cabir.

"What made you smile Dr. Cabir?" Manik asked puzzled. "Sir maine aapke baare mein bahut kuch suna tha but whatever I heard that was very less. I'm so honored to meet you" Manik could see that Cabir meant every word of what he said. Manik also reciprocated the same and leave from there.

Mukti studies Vansh's reports which Aryaman submitted. "Ma'am, Dr. Shrivastav is calling you", a nurse informs Mukti. Mukti says that she will come in a minute. She comes out and Navya comes there to inform that Vansh is critical. Mukti rushed to see him along with Navya.

"Ma'am usko fits aane laga suddenly" Navya said. Mukti stops him by putting keys in his hands. Navya and Mukti breath when he is fine. Mukti thinks that the treatment should not be delayed further. She goes to meet Manik.

"Dr. Malhotra", she stands outside the cabin and Manik asked her to come in.

"Dr. Mukti, I know aap yaha Vansh ke baare mein baat karne aaye hai!" he extended Shanaya's report to her.

"Is there any progress?" Mukti asked Manik. "Not any as of now, but I think hume aage kuch karna hoga" Manik said looking away from her.

"Yes, you're right, but what do you think if she doesn't want to get treated until she talks to Vansh, how dumb is that! This love makes everyone blind" Mukti is clearly annoyed.

"Love iss duniya mein parents se alaawa kisi ka pyaar sacha hota hi nahi" Manik looked directly at Mukti.

"Not all parents love their kids" Mukti gets up, "I think we can't think alike so we will deal this with our own ways" she said.

"Yes I thought the same, thank you Dr. Mukti", with that Mukti left. She goes to Vansh's mom and gets her signature on no objection letter for Vansh and Shanaya.

"Mera beta theek hona chahiye" she shouts on Mukti. "See, aapke chillane se kuch nahi hoga, if you can, make your son ready for treatment, what is his problem?" Mukti said firmly.

"Please doctor mera ek hi beta hai unhe bacha Lo, please", she pleaded Mukti. She goes to meet Vansh.

"Vansh, aapke mom ke condition serious hai" she informs him. "What! Meri maa ab tak theek hai na, kya hua mere mom ko?"

"She was internally bleeding and we could not figure it out so aapko blood donate karna padega as only you match her blood group in your family", she lies to Vansh about his mom's condition. Vansh said that he will donate blood for his mom.

"For that you should be treated first", Aryaman said as he was already informed by Mukti to do so. "Aryaman, I think he isn't that dumb to lose his mom", Mukti looked at Vansh while talking.

"Yes I will do everything for my mom, I just want her to be fine, she raised me alone and sacrificed everything for me, doctor please save her", Mukti gives him an injection and Vansh dozed off within few moments.

"Shanaya, now that Vansh has agreed for his treatment, you should agree too" Nandini tries to make Shanaya agree with her. "Doctor please", Shanaya is cut down by Manik.

"He doesn't need you anymore Shanaya, move on, uska treatment bhi ho gaya aur wo healthy and happy will be discharged in a day, tumhara kya" Shanaya cried listening to Manik. Nandini thinks that Manik was rude enough to make Shanaya cry.

"Uska surgery ho gaya bhi, he will not care about his handicapped girlfriend anymore, who wants a girlfriend on wheelchair anyway?" Manik earned a tight slap and Nandini is shocked to see that it was Vansh on wheelchair.

Aryaman got Vansh to Shanaya saying that his mom wants to see him. "How dare you to call her handicapped! Doctor hoke tum aise baat kaise kar sakte ho! Doctor is worshipped as God but you! I know how to save my Shanaya, I will not back off and I will take care of her however she is. I loved her not her appearance" Vansh spoke in a rude tone. Navya and Nandini just stood in a corner while Mukti stood beside Vansh and Aryaman.

"So you finally remembered that you had a girlfriend! Would you be able to answer yourself if she could never walk. It's already too late, tum jaise logo ko someone has to make you understand that you really love her, just because I called her handicapped you've slapped me! Why couldn't you make your mom understand that you love her, just accept that you love her" Manik showed her reports to Vansh.

Vansh has tears in his eyes seeing his love on the hospital bed and signs Aryaman to take him near Shanaya's bed. He hugs her and asks Shanaya to agree for treatment. "Nandini OT ready karwao" Mukti ordered Nandini who quickly leave the room. Mukti shakes hand with Manik and thank him.

Dr. Shrivastava saw them, "Good job Doctors" Manik has a warm smile on his face and excuse himself as he had to attend a surgery.

"Mukti, I need to talk to you" he said walking towards her. "Yes sir", she followed him to his cabin.

"I'm proud that you and Manik have dealt the situation very wisely and I expect the same further", he appreciated her.

"Thank you sir, anything else to say!"

"Nothing Mukti I just wanted to ask something", Mukti is least interested to listen to him.

"Would you like to join me for dinner?" he asked her while Mukti stood her back facing him. She instantly turns around to face him.

"Please Mukti don't say no, I request you" he asked in a pleading tone.

"I will wait for you until your shift gets over, 8 pm sharp, I will be ready, please Mukti mana mat karo", he waits for her answer.

"OK I will, but no need of waiting for me, I will come on my own"
