"Cool breeze, these floral scents, not to forget this delicious food, you and me! Isn't it what we call a perfect date night?" Manik said. "Video call pe tum floral scent bhi smell kar sakte ho kya?" she asked him. "These are the same scents I ordered there, in the end we are enjoying each others company, isn't that we wanted! To spend time with each other" Manik said but Nandini isn't all well with his virtual date idea but kept calm as he liked it that way.

"So, when are you planning to come here?" she asked. "Already missing me? By this time, tomorrow I will be in the flight to see you" he said. "Like you get down and come straight to me!" she said sarcastically. "Of course, main ghar jaunga mom mere liye wait kar rahi hogi" he said proving her right. "Yeah aunty must be waiting" she said. "Main tumhare liye aa nahi sakta par tum mere ghar aa sakti ho na?" he asked her. "No I won't come" she said. "Mujhe jo bolna hai bol diya baaki tumhari marzi" he said it as a warning.

"I love you" he said as it brought smile on her face. "Sorry I was too carried away with all other things" she said. "But how did you manage to arrange all this ?" she asked him. "Umm... Chachi ne help kiya, I should thank her" he said. "I know and I will, my chachi is the best" she boasted. "Aur main?" Manik seemed to pop out of the screen. "Tum! Kaun tum?" she said looking at the other side. "Acha main kaun?" he asked wide eyed.

"Let's get an answer for this, who I'm to you? Boy friend?" he asked wanting to hear from her. "Tum sirf mere boy friend nahi ho Manik, more than that, someone whom I can trust blindly. Jab tum mere paas ho toh mujhe ehsaas nahi thi but now I can feel how strongly I'm addicted to you. Tumhare alawa mujhe koi aur itna effect nahi kar sakta hai" she said.

"I'll be always there for you Nandini" he assured. "Par pata nahi kyu mujhe humesha tumhe khone ka dar hai!" she thought to herself and Manik's screen had suddenly got invisible. She tried to check and he was confused as he couldn't see her. "Ye connection ko bhi abhi problem hona hai kya?" Manik cursed the poor internet connection and came out of his room. He saw hotel staff roaming there. He thought of complaining about the poor wi-fi and stopped one of them. "Excuse me" he said. "Kahi mujhe doctor nahi mila" they talked among themselves ignoring Manik. "I'm a doctor" Manik said when he heard them. "Sir, there's an emergency in the hotel, could you please come with us" they asked him and Manik went with them in hurry. Nandini kept trying to reach Manik but he didn't carried his mobile with him. She waited for him and didn't know what to do. "Nandu" chachi knocked on the door.

Nandini opened the door. "Haaye call ho gaya?" she asked shocked. "Nahi chachi wo kuch internet issue hoga shayad call cut ho gaya" she said. "Phir se try karo aur ek baar" chachi adviced. "Try tho kiya par Manik phone nahi utha raha hai" she said sadly. "Tum udaas mat ho Nandini kuch ho gaya hoga" she cheered up Nandini and asked her to rest. Nandini thought of Manik and slept unknowingly. Manik came back to his room and thought of calling Nandini. "Shayad so rahi hogi, message kar leta hu" he thought and messaged that there was an emergency in the hotel that needed his presence.

"Maine kaha tha na kyu baar baar mere ghar aa rahe ho" Chandra Shekar snapped at the guy who came again for his tuition. Navya came there to see what made him shout. "Kya hua papa?" she asked him. "Ye mere paas medical entrance ka coaching lene aaya hai" he told Navya. She looked at the guy from top to bottom. "Ye aur medical entrance test! Ab iss umar mein?" Navya commented. "Aisa nahi bolna hai ma'am, I'm very interested in becoming a doctor" he said. "Papa nahi isko aap nahi padayenge" she told.

"Main bhi ab tak yahi sochta tha par tu ne bol diya tho main pakka isse padaunga" he said and the guy seemed happy. "Chalo tum kal se aana tuition par" Chandra Shekar said. "Tumhara naam kya hai?" he asked. "Naam... Shekawat Singh" he told. "Kal se tum aa jana" he told and glanced angrily at Navya. Navya looked at him, "Shekawat aur Singh dono hi surnames hai na, aapka naam kya hai?" she asked him.

"My father's surname is Singh and momma ka Shekawat tho dono milake naamkaran kar diya mere" he said. "Punjabi ho na aap, kaha se hai Punjab ya Haryana?" she asked. "Punjab se" he replied. "Tho Mr. Shekawat Singh, aapke moonch nikal aa rahe hai zara sambhalna, OK Cabir!" she told adjusting his fake moustache.

"Tumne mujhe kaise pehchana?" Cabir asked her as he was disguised as a Punjabi man. "Tumhe kya laga turban, moustache aur beard laga ke tum badal jaoge?" she asked and he dragged her out. "Ye sab kya hai?" she asked him. "Please don't talk until I complete, first of all I'm so sorry for talking like that and secondly tum chahthe ho na tumhare papa pehle jaise ho jaye tho yahi ek tareeka hai unko busy rakhne ke liye mujhe padaane ke liye wo khud prepare hoga na" Cabir said.

"Ha wo bhi hai" Navya said as she thought. "So tum agli baar se mere plans karaab mat karna" Cabir kind of warned her. "Ab bhi maine hi help kiya tumhe, agar main mana nahi karti tho papa wouldn't have accepted you" she said. "Tho tum mujhe pehle hi pehchaan liya?" Cabir asked. "Yes" she smiled. "Maine socha tum gaawar ho par utna hai nahi, smart huh!" he said and she hit him playfully.

"Tum sab inhi ke friends hai na?" Sanju asked Nandini and Navya over the video call. "Ye doubt ab kyu aaya?" Nandini asked. "Tumhare friend ke shaadi hone wala hai aur tum log aise baith gaye jaise aap logon ko kuch farak hi nahi hai" she blamed them. "Itna gussa? Sanju ye theek nahi hai, agar gussa hi karna hai tho apne hone wale patidev se karo" Cabir said showing Aryaman in the video call.

"Bas shaadi ka date fix karwaya tumhare friend ne, na shopping kiya na koi arrangements ho raha hai" she complained. "Aur tum bilkul baahar nahi jaogi, abhi abhi surgery hui hai, you should rest" Aryaman suggested and others agreed. "Doctor se shaadi karne ke side effects hai ye sab! Tho main kya karungi? Bina lehenga aur makeup ki shaadi karu" she pouted.

"Drama queen apni naatak bandh karna, jo tumhe chahiye main wo sab leke aaunga" Aryaman said. "But tumhe kaise pata hoga ek ladki ke liye kya kya chahiye hoga shaadi ke din? Ek kaam karo Nandini aur Navya ko saath leke jao" Sanju suggested. Cabir looked at Navya and said "Yaar tum uske papa ko jaante ho na, she might not come" he said and Navya looked at him. "Then Nandini you should definitely help me" Aryaman said.

"Manik tho kal aayega na, how would I manage to be with Manik if I'm with Aryaman!" Nandini was thinking and Aryaman called her. "Itna kya soch rahi ho?" he said. "I don't know what all girls wear in the North Indian wedding, main tho South Indian hu na, humare yaha wedding mein saree hota hai and it's lehenga for you" she tried to make an excuse which was obviously turned down. She knew she had no other option than to accept Aryaman's request.

"Mom, don't tell this to Nandini, main usko surprise karunga" Manik said to his mom. "Kya surprise Manik, wo bechari tumhare liye wait kar rahi hai" Nyonika said to Manik. "Maa, I know that she's waiting but she doesn't know that I'm coming today not tomorrow" Manik made her agree with him. "Nandini, can't wait to see you soon" he said to himself when he cut the call.

Nyonika thinks that she should surprise both Manik and Nandini as he come home. She immediately calls Nandini. "Hi Nandini" she spoke. "Hi aunty" Nandini wished her. "Manik, ghar par nahi hai tho tum kya ye aunty ko bhul jaogi?" she said acting angry. "Nahi aunty aisi koi baat nahi" Nandini said in her defense.

"Aisa nahi hai tho aaj shaam ko ghar aa jao beta, we will just have a coffee together" Nyonika said and Nandini thinks about Aryaman and Sanju. "Trust me Nandini, I can be the better coffee partner when Manik is not around" she said and Nandini agrees to go. She meets Aryaman to say that she can't make it to go out with him.

"Kya yaar Nandini, tum humesha Nyonika aunty ke ghar jaogi na, why do you want to go today?" he asked her. "Kyu matlab, she is alone and Manik is not here with her" Nandini said. "Tum dono ki umar bhi same nahi hai but how come you both are friends?" he asked. "Friends don't need same age Aryaman" she said as she left from there.

Nyonika opened the door when she heard someone knocked it. "Come inside, I was waiting for you" she invited Nandini inside. "Kyu aunty, aapko mujhse kuch kaam hai?" she asked. "Nahi tho kuch kaam nahi hai bas apni bahu ko dekhna chahthi thi" she said smiling widely. "Ab Manik bhi aayega aur ye dono surprise ho jayenge" she thought and smiled at herself. "Aunty, kuch hua? Aap aise smile kyu kar rahi hai? Nandini asked as she is little confused with Nyonika's strange behavior.

"Kuch nahi Nandini, I called you to make French fries with you" she said. "French fries?" Nandini is now totally confused and had no idea what Nyonika was doing. "Ha jab Manik chota tha, wo roz school se aake French fries khaane ki zid karta tha, it's his favorite" Nyonika lied. "But aunty, now Manik is all grown up and he won't be crying for these fries anymore and moreover he is not even here so we can make them tomorrow" Nandini tried to say but Nyonika dragged her into the kitchen and showed her the potatoes. She heard the door bell, "I'll just come Nandini, tab tak tum ye fries oil mein deep fry karo, tum bilkul yaha se baahar mat aana" she said and Nandini nodded.

Nyonika is too excited but all her enthusiasm went in vane when she saw Alya in front of her. "Tum yaha! Ab?" she asked. "Aunty aap hi ne kaha na kal Manik aayega tho aaj hi wo reports leke jaana, so I'm here to collect the case reports" Alya said and Nyonika remembered why she came there. Manik had asked Alya to collect reports from his room and Nyonika asked Alya to come and collect reports before Manik coming home. "Phas gayi ab Manik aaya tho main kya karungi?" Nyonika thought and Alya came inside. Alya sat on the sofa.

"Idhar nahi, tum Manik ke room mein jao aur reports leke jao" Nyonika said. Alya said OK and went to his room. Nyonika got back to Nandini. "Who is it aunty?" she asked. "Laundry shop wala" she said without a second thought. She again heard the door bell and went out. "Pakka Manik hi hoga" she thought before opening the door but saw some other guy who came to deliver the veggies she ordered online. She was disappointed and turned back. Her voice went numb as she saw Manik in front of her. "Mom I'm here" Manik said hugging her.

"Tum andar kaise aa gaye?" she asked. "Stop asking silly questions mom, door was open when I came and it's me who closed the door" he said. Nyonika thought Alya opened the door and she was gone. "Thank God, Lagta hai wo chali gayi chappal bhi nahi dikh raha hai" she thought. "Mom kya hua?" he asked her. "Kuch nahi tere liye ek surprise hai, go and get freshened up fast" she said sending Manik to his rolm.

"Nandini ab tum fries leke Manik ke room mein jao main abhi aaungi" she said. "But Manik ke room?" Nandini asked confused. "Ha pehle tum jao" she sent Nandini. "Ab dono ek dusre ko dekhke surprise ho jayenge" she smiled at herself and went out to check on them.

"SURPRISE" she almost shouted and the plate in Nandini's hand fell down as she saw Alya and Manik together.
