Abhimanyu stood up as he saw Mukti. "What bet?" Mukti asked him. "Mukti, listen to me I didn't" Abhimanyu was cut off by her. "Mujhe kuch nahi sun na hai, just tell me the truth" she asked. "Me and Manik, we had a bet. He asked me if I can make you say that you love me" Abhimanyu said embarrassed. Mukti looked at Manik. "How could you both do this?" Mukti said in temper.

"Mukti, wo bet galat tha, but Abhi ne kuch galat nahi kiya, he didn't ever misbehave with you nor he will do anything further" Manik continued, "Mukti, just give him a chance, listen to what he wanted to say if you believe in yourself because you trusted him" Manik said and left. He asked Abhimanyu to be true to himself. "Mukti, I can explain" he wanted to apologize Mukti for his bet.

"What will you explain Abhimanyu? How you acted like a friend to me or how you pretended being nice to my family? Kya sunu!" Mukti felt cheated. "No Mukti I tried to impress you but never cheated on you nor I acted with you, maine jo kuch bhi kiya it was all because of our friendship. Consequences had pushed me to do all that, out of everyone you chose me to be your friend and Raman sir bhi mujhe trust kiya. I cannot make you and Raman sir to believe me, I was genuine Mukti. Last night I heard you talking to your parents so I decided to leave from your place" Abhimanyu said. "But whatever happened between us is not a lie" he is waiting for her answer. She is about to leave but he held her strong.

"Please Mukti, mujhe chod ke mat jaana, I Love You" Abhi said teary-eyed. She didn't know how to react. What will she chose his love or his lie. Mukti left from there. She thought of him. It was hard for her to believe that Abhimanyu had actually done that. "Your friendship was a lie how could you think of your life with him?" her mind said. "Mukti, he never cheated on you, he didn't lie, give him a chance" her heart told her.

Nandini and Navya went to canteen. "Aisa pehli baar hua hai na?" Navya said to her. "Ha, kabhi mujhe mana kiya hi nahi usne" Nandini said. "What are you talking about?" Navya asked Nandini. "Wahi Manik ne mujhe uske saath work karne ke liye mana kiya tha na!" Nandini said and Navya smiled. "Mukti ma'am kabhi kisiki sunti hi nahi hai, but today when Manik sir asked her to allot a different duty to you, she readily agreed. I was talking about Mukti ma'am, kitni badal gayi hai wo" Navya said. "Ha, who bhi hai" Nandini said. "But tumhe tho sirf Manik sir ki khayal aata hai na" Navya asked her in a teasing way. "Its no use talking about him anyway Navya, he cant do whatever he want with me, kabhi friendly and caring, kabhi uska monster attitude" she said, "he promised me that he will never annoy me hereafter, maybe that's why usne mujhe mana kiya hoga" Nandini said. "Mujhe ek baat samaj nahi aata hai Nandini, what do you want from him? Are you feeling bad that he is rude to you or that he isn't caring for you? There's a big difference" Navya said and Nandini thought about it.

"Think, and when you know the answer, you will know what he means to you?" Navya said. "Leave it Navya, tum batao, you know what is right and what is not, you are polite, well mannered and soft spoken, koi bhi tum mein ek fault bhi nahi nikal sakte hai, you are matured and too innocent to fight with Cabir who is just falsely accusing you that you made me drunk that night! Why are you not talking to Cabir, I know he is at fault, he shouldn't have blamed you but tum usse baat kar sakti ho na" Nandini asked. Navya thought for a minute. "No Nandini, sometimes its better not to talk, and galti meri hi thi Cabir ki nahi" Navya wanted to jerk off the topic but Nandini didn't seem to leave it. "Kyu? Aisa kya hua? Tumhe yaad nahi tha na? Did Cabir told you what happened?" Nandini asked. Navya nodded in yes. "What did he say?" Nandini is curious to know but Navya isn't ready.

"Please Navya kuch bolo, I wont tell anyone" Nandini pleaded her. Navya finally gave in. "Nandini, I don't actually remember anything but Cabir told me that I have kissed.....him that day" Navya hesitated and Nandini was shocked listening to her. "KISS?" Nandini opened her eyes wide. "Nandini maine jaan boochke aisa nahi kiya par" Navya tried to explain Navya. "Navya, don't panic. I can understand what's going on in your mind but don't worry, I know you, uss waqt tum hosh mein nahi thi, even I was not, tabhi tho maine Manik se wo sab stupid baatein ki" now it was Navya's turn to ask Nandini. "Manik sir se kya kaha tu ne?" she asked her. "I told him that I feel special when he is around me and told him that I liked his company and asked him to be friend forever but the next day, he crossed all his limits Navya, it wasn't my fault at all" Nandini said. "Do you mean to say that you like him Nandini?" Navya asked. "No, not exactly, not more than all of you guys" Nandini comforted Navya. "Ok, mujhe jaana hai Nandini" Navya left from there.

She went to say a lady in her late 40's. "Hi ma'am, I'm your doctor Navya" she introduced herself. "Hi doctor" she said but looked out of the window constantly. "Koi hai waha" she asked looking through the window. "Mera beta" she told her and Navya goes out to see but couldn't see anyone. "Waha koi nahi hai" Navya said. "My son, he is not like others, he is 25 years old but his brain isn't, he is just a child for me" Navya understood that he is mentally challenged. "Agar mujhe kuch hua tho, I don't know how he will survive" she cried. "Please don't worry aap ko kuch nahi hoga" Navya said. "Alya, shall we go for lunch" Aryaman asked Alya who is sitting alone in the common room. "Tum mujhse puch rahe ho?" Alya is quite surprised.

"Tumse lad lad ke thak gaya hu, energy ke liye lunch karke phirse ladenge hum" he said. "Sure, that sounds like a good idea" Alya said and they smiled. "Acha, I know I should apologize you, I'm sorry" Aryaman said. "No, you don't have to, even I'm at fault" she said and they sat in the canteen. "Where are others?" Alya asked. "Don't know, Cabir and Nandini should have come by now" Aryaman said looking at his watch. "Yeh main kya dekh raha hu! Alya and Aryaman together for lunch" Manik said and sat with them. "Are you sure, tum dono lunch mein ek dusre ko nahi khaoge na?" he joked. "Of course koi shak" Alya glared at Manik. "I wish tum dono mujhe na khaa jaye" Manik said. Cabir and Nandini came there. Manik was about to leave but Alya stopped him.

"Kaha jaa rahe ho?" Alya said stopping him. "Tum sab aaye ho na, you guys have lunch" Manik said. "We don't mine aap bhi humare saath lunch kijiye" Aryaman said and Cabir also asked him to sit. Nandini looked at him. "You make fun of me and you thought you can just go like that" Alya said to him. "No, you cant do that to me, I'm your senior doctor, have some respect ok" he said. "No, we're off duty now. Guys see this picture" she said showing her phone and laughing. Cabir grabbed her phone. "Ye tho Manik ka first year ka picture hai, tab tho wo bahut hi cute tha na Cabir" she said laughing and teased Manik. "Bilkul model lag rahe hai sir aap" Cabir said. "My bad! Ye photo tumhara haath hi lagna hai kya?" Manik said and Cabir passed it to Aryaman who laughed too. Manik quickly grabbed the phone when Aryaman was about to show it to Nandini. "Alya, its quite embarrassing, please" Manik requested her. "Arre Nandini ko bhi dekhne do" Alya asked him. "No" Manik said loudly and Nandini looked into his eyes. "Mujhe mera mazaak nahi udaana hai" he said. "Look how cute you were Manik" she laughed again.

"This is why mujhe tumhara saath nahi baithna hai, bye" Manik left from there and Nandini looked on to him. "Lagta hai wo zyada hi embarrass ho gaya hoga" Nandini said to Alya. "No, aisa kuch nahi hoga, Manik doesn't take all the silly things to heart" Alya said. "Navya, kaha hai Nandini?" Aryaman asked. "She is busy right now, she said that she will eat later" Nandini replied. They had lunch and Nandini said to Cabir that she will look after the patients till evening and asked him to check the prescriptions. Alya went back to her duty. "Navya aur tum abhi bhi baat nahi kar rahe ho na?" Aryaman asked Cabir. "Hmm yeah" Cabir said. "I thought hum sab mein tum dono hi kaafi matured hai, me, Nandini and Alya, hum bas ek doosre se jagadthe rehte the, but aisa kya hua tum dono ko?" Aryaman asked. "No Aryaman please don't ask me" he said but Aryaman isn't ready to give up. "You want me to share all my problems with you, par tum ek baat bhi nahi bologe, it's great, I will leave now, tumhe mujhe zarurat kabhi hoga hi nahi" Aryaman was about to leave. "Kiss" Cabir said embarrassed.

"What?" Aryaman asked shocked. "Isse zyada main kuch aur nahi bol paunga" Cabir said and Aryaman got a phone call. "Cabir, mujhe ek important kaam hai, tum please mere kaam karo na, Mukti ma'am ko bhi manage kar lena please" Aryaman asked Cabir. "Uss Lady Bheem ko main kaise manage karu" Cabir asked him. "She won't allow me to take an off Cabir, I've already taken enough leaves for the month, please Cabir" Aryaman pleaded.

"Ye sab Sanju ke liye hai na" Cabir asked. Aryaman didn't answer but Cabir knew him. "OK, I'll manage you go" Aryaman vanished within no time. "Cabir, main kabse tumhe dhoond rahi hu, where were you? Prescriptions check kiya tumne?" Nandini asked as she saw Cabir. "Prescriptions can wait Nandini, I have some other work" Cabir said.

"But ye tho Aryaman ki case hai na, wo kaha hai?" Nandini asked him. "Wo yaha nahi hai and ha ye baat kisiko mat batana, he went out" Cabir whispered to her. "Kyu? Wo kaha gaya?" Nandini asked. "Ladki ki chakkar" Cabir said sarcastically. "Ladki? Kaun hai wo ladki! Usne mujhe nahi bataya" Nandini asked with curiosity. "Sanju" Nandini is quite surprised to hear. "But why?" Nandini asked with a confused face. "Sanju is going to be engaged to Rakesh and Aryaman thinks Rakesh is cheating on Sanju with some other girl, he wants to save her from the fake relationship" Cabir told her and informed that he will work on Aryaman's behalf and asked her to cover up for him if Mukti asked about him.

Nandini has finished off her shift and booked a cab to go back home. "Phir se trip cancel hua? Ye cabs ko kya ho gaya aaj kal!" she is pissed off. She heard the car's horn and turned around. "Manik!" she saw the car near her. She went near the car. "Kya hua tum abhi bhi yahi ho" Nandini's expressions had changed when she saw Aryaman in the car. She stood there without talking. "Nahi aani hai mere saath" Aryaman asked her. "Why? don't you want to drop me home at this hour!" she asked and Aryaman smiled. "You took an off and went out na" she asked him. "No, I didn't took an off but Cabir had to make a proxy for me" Aryaman said.

"We all knew each other but sometimes I feel do we really know each other, we don't know what's happening in each one of our lives" Nandini said looking at him.
