Mukti was satisfied with his answer. Dr. Shrivastav's temper rose as Manik confessed it. Nandini isn't surprised at all as she expected him to say the same. Cabir, Navya and Aryaman remained mere spectators.
"Dr. Nandini, you should give a specific and detailed explanation of what you have done. Hospital will take a serious action against you, agar chahe tho internship bhi cancel kar sakte hai" Raman warned her.

"Please sir" Nandini tried to speak but her words died in her throat. "But sir I think this isn't fair" Abhimanyu said. "It would have been definitely fair if she had done intentionally doctor" Manik finally said.

"She definitely hurt Alya but she didn't push her wantedly that was really unfortunate" he said looking at Nandini who stood there. Mukti didn't talk and Abhimanyu had asked Raman to forgive Nandini. Mukti left from there. Aryaman, Cabir and Navya also left from there. Dr. Shrivastav warned Nandini to not make that mistake again. Manik left followed by Nandini.

Abhimanyu still stood there waiting to talk to Raman. "Even you may go now" Raman said but he stood there silently. "Kya chahiye tumhe?" he asked as he lost his patience. "Sirf ek minute" he said coolly. "Go ahead" Raman said with unease. "I don't know aapke aur Dr. Ishitha ke beech kya hai but I want to tell you something important about her case" he said seriously gaining Raman's attention.

"Ishitha ke case! What do you mean?" Raman asked him. "Dr. Ishitha has been diagnosed with leukemia" Raman's ground crumbled as he heard him. "How did you know?" Raman rose from his chair and this startled Abhimanyu. "It was during the staff general check up, she gave blood samples and she herself knew that she has leukemia, I had seen her reports by mistake but I didn't acknowledge that I know it" he said and continued.

"Mukti ne mujhe bataya ki aap aur Dr. Ishitha..." Raman stopped him. "What did she say? What did she know about Ishitha?" his temper rose as he heard about Ishitha. He broke down into tears. "Sir, please apne aap ko sambhaliye" he consoled him. "I need to talk to Ishitha" Raman said and left the cabin.

Nandini wanted to thank Manik for saving her. She went to his cabin and found him going through a case file. "Excuse me sir, thank you for what you have just done" she said. "Agar thank you kehna hai tho Abhimanyu se hi kaho he told me everything about what Dr. Mukti and Dr. Shrivastav was plotting against you" he said plainly.

"But you were there and you saw that whatever had happened usme meri galti nahi thi" she said confidently but saw his expression changing. "Are you sure tumhari galti nahi thi Nandini? Did you actually forgot that you've hurt Alya?" he said with a tinge of pain in his voice. "Obviously no, I didn't intend to hurt her" she said with equal confidence as him. "So you've never got into fight with Alya! Tell me something what would you have done if you were insulted and literally humiliated like the way Aryaman did for Alya? Would you sit, think and act or just slap the person right away? Alya ko galat faymi hogayi she thought you were the one who did it, she slapped you but when she came to know that it's not you, she apologized but tumne kya kiya! You've ignored her, you've hurt her and you simply say in front of everyone that it wasn't intentional! Tell me would you not lose your cool if it was happened to any of your friends?" Nandini is shocked hearing Manik. She understood that he just saved her from the punishment but didn't actually believe that she is not at fault.

"Remember Nandini, you just don't know everything about Alya, please don't judge her" he said and Nandini replied, "uske baare mein mujhe jaanna bhi nahi hai" she said arrogantly. "I repeat my words, don't judge her, kya jaanti ho tum that she left me in the mandap before the marriage, tumne kya kiya tumne bhi mujhe reject kiya for the same reason usne modelling chose kiya aur tum your career, both of you clearly rejected me to follow your dreams, agar isme uski galti hai tho tumhari bhi hai" Nandini's jaw dropped as he compared her with Alya.

"I request or rather beg you to stay away from Alya please and agli baar se humare zindagi mein involve mat ho" he said helplessly and this pricked her heart. She felt as if he had crushed her heart into pieces. She walked away silently.

"Thank God Nandini is saved by Manik sir, warna I can't even imagine" Cabir heaved a sigh of relief. Nandini came there. "Yeah I thought he won't help but luckily this time he saved" Aryaman agreed with Cabir and Navya stayed calm. "So you guys think he saved me" she retorted.

"Tho tumko bhi yahi lagta hai ki I have intentionally did that" she couldn't take what Manik had called her. He called her an opportunist. How low can he think of her. She always followed her heart. She laughed when she was happy, cried when she was sad. Shouted when angry but at the end no one believed what she said. She felt even her friends didn't believe her.

Raman went to see Ishitha but she was not there in her cabin. He tried calling her but it went unanswered. Abhimanyu is shocked seeing Raman devastated. "Sir please control yourself" he tried to console him. He went in search of Ishitha and Abhimanyu followed him. They saw Ishitha on terrace. He called her "Ishitha"

"Raman tu yaha kya kar raha hai?" she panicked seeing him like that. "Kyu bataya nahi mujhe? Why did you hide it?" she saw him having no clue about what he was talking about. "Why did you hide that you have leukemia? Why you didn't tell me when you know it?" he demanded an explanation.

She saw Abhimanyu walking towards them. "Dr. Ishitha galti se maine aapke reports dekh liya, I'm so sorry but I know that you are diagnosed with" Raman interrupted him and shouted "stop it" Abhimanyu didn't dared to utter a word.

"You want to know right, no we aren't having an affair, Ishitha is my wife, legally wedded wife" Ishitha tried to stop him but Raman completely lost his senses to think about it. Nandini left sad for no one trusted her. She went to Mukti.

"Dr. Nandini, whatever happened today, I don't know why Dr. Manik tried to save you but remember you can't get away with me like that" she said a bit harshly. "Moving forward, it will take some time to think about it so I can't take risk of assigning duty to you today, do pass your case reports to Dr. Navya and ha don't forget to call Dr. Alya's parents or guardians to inform about her" she had nothing to talk and left silently.

What could she possibly hope from Mukti other than this. She went to Vibha. "Ma'am, your surgery is scheduled for tonight and I will inform Dr. Manik about it, Dr. Navya will take your case hear onwards" she informed her and is about to leave but Manik came there.

"Why are you shifting my case, Dr. Nandini aap bahut ache doctor hai na" she said and Manik looked at Nandini. "Sir, Vibha and Renu's case reports" she handed over him. "But why are you doing this?" he asked her. "Because Mukti ma'am need some time to figure out everything about the issue" she said and left from there. She checked the register to call for Alya's parents. She instead found her guardian number. Abhimanyu came there.

"Dr. Nandini!" he called her. "I hope Mukti is really not too rude with you, they're like that but it's okay you'll find a good mentor in both Dr. Shrivastav and Dr. Mukti" he advised. "Sir, aap bhi Alya ko jaante hoga na" she asked checking the register.

"Yeah Alya was our junior in college and of course ab bhi" he said. "Yaha name ya address kuch nahi likha hai sirf phone number" she asked him. "It might be her sister's phone number" he said. "Alya's parents died when she was young, she has a sister wo London mein rahti hai" he said. She tried calling that number but phone is not connected.

"Aapke paas dusra number hoga na" she asked him. "Maybe Manik has it, I will ask him to call you don't worry" he assured her. "But sir, Mukti ma'am asked me to call her parents or guardians" she said. "OK I will ask him to give her number" he smiled at her and Nandini left from there and bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry" she replied politely. "Nandini beta" she looked at the source of the voice and found Nyonika in front of her. "Aunty aap yaha hospital mein! Is everything alright?" she asked with concern. "I'm all okay Manik called me here but I don't know why" she said. "Kuch hua hai kya beta, you look sad" she asked looking at her dull face

Nandini said whatever had happened to Nyonika. "How could that happen? Tum kisiko aise hurt nahi kar sakti I know" she said and Nandini felt light hearted. Abhimanyu went to Manik. "Manik" he called out for him. "Abhi I'm just busy can we talk after 10 minutes?" he excused himself. But Abhimanyu being him, how could he let go off a chance of teasing Manik. "Aisa kya kaam hai?" he asked.

"Mom is coming" Manik said. "Wo kya hai ki I signed as guardian for you when you are admitted, and today you will be discharged, Vibha bhi yahi hai, she doesn't even know anything between me and Alya, so I thought mom could be her local guardian, isliye hi maa ko bulaya maine" he said as he chose his mom as a guardian for Alya.

"Yeah, it's okay but aunty manegi kya?" he asked Manik. "I know thoda difficult hai but there's no choice" he sighed. "Why don't we call and inform Sonya about it" Manik became alert hearing him.

"No hum Sonya ko kuch nahi batayenge, hum hai na yaha" Manik said sternly. "But she is Alya's sister" Abhimanyu stated.

"I don't want anyone near Alya" Manik said and turned to see Nyonika and Nandini together.
