Mukti looked at Abhimanyu in horror while the latter was on cloud nine hearing the big news. "Now I believe in God, miracles do happen Mukti" he said to her. Ishitha and Raman are also overjoyed. Mukti felt guilty and walked out from there. "I hope sab aisa hi theek ho jayega" Ishitha said finger-crossed. "Mukti, please listen to me" Abhimanyu ran behind her. "Just imagine holding our little one in your hands, feels so wonderful, please give it a thought" he asked her. "Main galat hu na, OK I accept every mistake of mine. I should have told you about Divya before we get married but I messed up. For you, I can lose anything but cannot lose you" he said. She saw that he was honest in his eyes. "Mera pyaar pe viswas nahi par apni khud ki pyaar par ek aur baar bharosa karke tho dekho" he said and kneeled in front of her. "I love you Mukti, I want to grow old with you, I want our babies to annoy you, I want to make my every moment special with you. With you, is my happiness and without you, I'm just dead" Mukti melted like ice as she heard him saying the cheesiest lines possible.

They heard claps around them and Abhimanyu stood up. "Hume nahi pata tha ki aap itne cheesy lines bol sakte hai" Aryaman said. Abhimanyu and Mukti are caught red-handed by Alya, Nandini, Aryaman and Navya. "I wondered how Mukti ma'am had fallen for a guy like Abhimanyu, but now I know" it was Nandini's turn.

"What's going on here?" Aditya came there. "Aa gaye nalaayak" Navya nudged Nandini. "Bas general talks" Aryaman said. "Is this the time for your silly nonsense jokes wo bhi Dr. Mukti se, her father is unwell and it's her last day too" Aditya said faking a smile at Mukti. "Well her father is doing good for now, and regarding her resignation wo tho nahi hoga, she withdrew it back" Abhimanyu said to Aditya. Everyone was happy to know it. "Withdraw karne se kya hoga, tum Dean tho ban nahi jaogi" Aditya commented.

"Of course nahi ban paayegi, because humara Dean Dr. Raman Shrivastav hi rahega" Manik said and everyone looked at him. "What Manik!" Abhimanyu asked. "Yes, jaise yaha Raman sir ko heart attack aaya utna hi turant Aditya ne iss khabar management tak pahunchaya. But he missed something, our Dean is healthy and he can continue to work from tomorrow, isn't it Navya?" he asked Navya pointing at her. "Bolo Navya you were in charge of our Dean's health" Manik asked her and Aditya looked at her.

"He is stable now it was just a mild heart attack" Abhimanyu announced and continued, "Matlab main Navya ka incharge tha, Navya Raman sir ka" Abhimanyu said looking at Aditya. "Agar junior doctors se puch liya tho Dean role ke liye Dr. Mukti ko choose karenge" Manik said. "I'm I right?" he asked them to confirm. They all voiced their opinion for Mukti. "Hum bhi Mukti ko hi chunenge" he said.

Aditya felt trapped by Manik. "Mukti, take this. It's something that Abhimanyu khud nahi jaanta" Manik gave a parcel to her. "Kya hai Manik?" Abhimanyu asked. "Abhi, I'm sorry I never wanted to say it to you but it's for your good. That is Divya's post mortem report usme clearly likha hai ki she died due to a blow on her head and not because of the accident" Aditya started sweating profusely. "Hospital ki CCTV footage bhi maine tumhe send kiya, you can check and identify. I'm sure you will differentiate between your husband and Dr. Aditya" Mukti broke into tears.

"I don't need to check it, Abhimanyu wo nahi kar sakta hai, I was stupid to doubt on him" Mukti said with tears. Abhimanyu took her phone and saw the footage where someone with a surgical mask is beating Divya. One blow and Abhimanyu felt dumbstruck. All these years he thought his reckless driving killed his love but knowing that someone murdered her is now killing him. "You killed her? How could you do that to your own sister?" Abhimanyu held Aditya's collar. "She was not my own sister" Aditya said. Manik came to hold and console Abhimanyu. "How could he kill her Manik! He blamed me, I blamed myself" Abhimanyu hugged and cried on Manik's shoulder. "I know you were already disturbed with Divya's death. You thought it was destiny so I couldn't think of telling you that it was a murder" Manik calmed him down. "Sirf yahi nahi bahut mahaan kaam kiya hai isne" Manik said to everyone.

"I will tell this to world now. How cruel this person is!" Navya came forward. Aryaman, Nandini and Alya were stunned at Navya's sudden confrontation. "Navya" Manik said. "Agar abhi bhi maine kuch nahi bola tho, he will continue to do it with other women too" Navya said. "Kya hua Navya" Abhimanyu asked. "He tried to molest me, that too in my duty hours, in the operation theater" Navya said with tears in her eyes.

"Ab tho koi aur aake koi aur ilzaam bhi lagayega mujhpe. Manik ne murderer kaha aur yaha Dr. Navya said I'm a rapist, wow! Kuch baaki reh gaya?" Aditya made fun of her. "No I'm not lying" Navya said firmly. "Kya proof hai tumhare paas?" Aditya asked. "Uss waqt waha Manik sir hai, Cabir hai aur.. " Navya stopped. "Main bhi hu" she saw her father. "Papa" Navya hugged her father. "Aise bakwaas question ye puchega hume pata hai uncle aur main dono apne mobiles mein Navya ke messages delete nahi kiya, ab bhi wo humare paas hai" Cabir said to Aditya, showing messagea of Navya that said Aditya molested her. "Mere paas bhi hai ye bhi dekho" Navya's dad showed the messages. "Enough" Aditya shouted.

"Tum log ye sab karke cool nahi ban jaate" he tried to threaten them. "Itna sab kuch plan kiya tumhare liye ek aur tho kar hi sakta hu na, ye sab dekhne ke liye ek board of director ko bhi mere saath le aaya hu" Manik called one of the board of directors to prove that Aditya is not worth to become Dean for Lifeline hospital. "Dr. Mukti, I'm glad that you have withdrew your resignation and from management side, I apologize you and strict action will be taken against Dr. Aditya Verma" he informed and Aditya backed out from there. "Manik and Abhimanyu, you think you're smart but your smartness won't long" he said to himself and flew away.
Raman had a virtual meeting with the board of directors where he announced his official resignation. Management offered the Dean's role to Mukti to which Raman was overjoyed and gave his consent.

"Papa, aap yaha?" Navya asked ChandraShekar surprised. "Mujhe aana hi pada Navya. Cabir ne mujhe sab kuch bataya beta" Navya was stunned. "Papa wo" she stammered. Cabir couldn't meet her eyes. "Be it Cabir or Shekawat, there's nothing in name and something in this guy, I made many mistakes Navya but now I can't see my girl crying anymore. Ab se tumhari zindagi mein sirf khushiya hona chahiye" he blessed her. Manik comes to meet Navya's father.

"Thank you so much for coming sir, I didn't expect you or Navya to come forward but that takes courage" he appreciated them. "You were right doctor, if we still kept quiet, he will go on to repeat same thing to other girls also" ChandraShekar acknowledged. "Now I can be at peace that Cabir is there to look after my Navya" he said to Manik. "Wow! Ye kab hua?" Manik felt happy listening to him. "Navya and Cabir, congratulations, you both deserve each other, happy life ahead" Manik wished them good luck.

"Baby, please let me go now, I promise I will come tomorrow to meet you again" Manik heard a familiar voice. He instantly recognized him as Dhruv. He turned back. "No, aaj humara bahar jaane ka plan hai na" Alya said stopping Dhruv. "Ha but kal jayenge" Dhruv said pacifying her. "Tomorrow I have a night shift Dhruv" Alya reminded. "Koi baat nahi aur ek baar Nandini adjust karegi" Dhruv said playfully. "She will kill you" Alya said. Dhruv kissed on her forehead and left from there. Alya turned to see Manik in front of her.

"This guy?" Manik asked Alya. "I said that I wanted to say you something, it's about him, Dhruv" Alya said. "No, I didn't get you Alya" Manik wanted her to elaborate. "Dhruv is my boyfriend Manik" she blurted out. "What? When did this happen?" Manik asked curiously. "It was when you left to New York. I was terrified of that incident and I couldn't live alone at home. I stayed back here even if I don't have night duties. Then, Dhruv came into my life" Alya continued.

"Dhruv met with an accident and was almost bedridden for more than month. He is discharged recently. He was Nandini's patient but apparently I shared her night shifts then, to be with Dhruv" Alya had a constant smile on her face when she told Manik about Dhruv. Manik looked at her. "What?" Alya asked him. "I've never seen you so happy in the recent times Alya, I hope tum humesha aise hi muskurate raho" he said. "Your wish will be fulfilled only if I'm with Dhruv forever Manik" she said. "Wo tho ho hi jayega" Manik assured her. "Di ko tum manaoge kya?" she asked with a tinge of doubt. "Of course I will talk to Sonya about your wedding, who else will be so happy to get her sister married!" Manik said sarcastically. Alya hit him playfully.

"Can I ask you something Alya?" Manik asked. "You can always ask me anything" she said. "Agar ye tumhara boyfriend hai tho kal Nandini ke saath kya kar raha tha?" Manik asked. "Nandini ke saath! I don't know" Alya said. "Just now you said you want to be with him all while and you don't even know that he met Nandini" Manik became restless. "Manik, chill! He is a good friend of Nandini too" she said. Manik said what he heard to Alya. "Oh Dhruv was asking her to do night shift for me. I had night shift last night and Nandini replaced me." she said.

"Phir bhi tum Nandini se puch sakti ho na, usse puchne ki zarurat kya hai?" Manik vented his anger. "What's your problem Manik! Dhruv or Nandini?" Alya asked him to clear. "No I don't have any problem with anyone" he was quick. "Kyu? Nandini tumse dhoor chali jayegi aur tumhe koi problem nahi hai?" she asked. "She isn't going anywhere, uske chacha ab shaadi ke baare mein usse force nahi kar raha hai na!" he asked Alya to confirm. "So you still know what's happening in her life" she said.

"Har baat ka doosra meaning mat dhoondo, dad told me this" he said plainly. "It's not the physical distance Manik. She is mentally and emotionally tumse dhoor ho rahi hai" Alya said. "That's what she wanted Alya, a break from me! Mujhse break up karne ke liye ek reason chahiye tha, it was Alya then. Now she even know that you and Dhruv are in love, but usse Manik yaad nahi aaya" Manik said miserably. "Aisa nahi hai Manik! She might have felt that but she doesn't think like that anymore" Alya said to convince him.

"If that's true, can you make her say that we were in love! None of her friends knew about us, she wanted it to be SECRET. Ek baar bhi nahi socha mere baare mein jo do saal pagal ki tarah uske peeche peeche gaye. I saw her performance too. Surgeries, clinical rounds, counseling and what not she has become a good doctor which isn't possible if she is with Manik Malhotra! I don't held anything against her Alya. That was my mistake, we couldn't understand each other and she was not at fault" Manik concluded. Alya tried to speak but Manik didn't let her. "Please Alya, let's end this, I'm tired" he said and Alya left.

"Manik Nandini se gussa hai, he has so much piled inside him" Alya said to Dhruv. "Nandini kya soch rahi hogi bechari!" Dhruv thought. "Ek kaam karo call karke pucho wo kya soch rahi hai?" Alya said sarcastically. "That's good idea, I will call and ask her" Dhruv hung up on Alya and called Nandini.

"Lagta hai aaj chaand nahi aaya aasman mein!" Dhruv said as Nandini picked his call. "It's because you have called me instead of Alya" she said. "No, chand tho wapas hospital mein aa gaya Seedha New York se, tumhari Chand jo hai" Dhruv said. "Dhruv, what is it! Agar tum Manik ke baare mein discuss karna chahthe ho tho bye goodnight" she almost hung up on him but Dhruv spike again. "When did I take his name? Do you think he is your moon? Aisa hai kya?" he asked her. "No" she answered quick.

"Then, talk to me Alya is busy" he said. "Alya said that she spoke to Manik and he promised Alya that he will talk to her sister about our wedding" Dhruv said excited. "Ye tum mujhse kyu share kar rahe ho?" she asked. "Because you're my friend and I thought you will feel happy knowing about our wedding" he said, "but I think tumhe aaj Manik ke alawa kuch sunaai nahi de raha hai" he said. "No Dhruv I'm sorry" she apologized.

"Kyu Nandini itne dino mein Manik ka yaad nahi aaya?" he asked. "No I constantly tried to forget him, now that he is here, it's really tough to ignore him" she said. "Why ignoring? Go tell him what you feel" he advised. "Why would I do that? He broke up with me, usne kuch nahi suna and he left me and went to New York. He left me Dhruv just because he thought I was immature. He doesn't even think of what I'm feeling, he came into my life without my consent wo bhi plan karke 2 years he said it took him 2 years to meet and propose me and just 2 months to break up" Nandini said in tears.

"Acha hua ki kisi ko humare baare mein nahi pata warna everyone will see me like a love failure, ab tho koi problem hi nahi hai, I can be normal and be myself. Hum dono milenge har roz but it will only make things worst Dhruv. Please never ask me again about him. I don't want to think of that pain again" Nandini requested him.

"Now that Nandini know that Manik isn't still loving me, she should come back to Manik" Alya said. "Manik ne usse chod ke chale gaya, he waited for 2 years to propose her, how could he so easily break their relationship" Dhruv argued. "Oh ek baar tumne Nandini ki kahani sun liya so you're taking her side" Alya accused him.

"Tum kya tumhare friend ke side nahi le rahe ho? She was insecure but not immature" Dhruv made his point clear. "Oh hello Manik ne Nandini ke liye kya kuch nahi kiya, he left everything and moved away so that she will not get to see him and she could forget him" Alya said. "Alya shut up" Dhruv said seriously and she stopped at the moment. "Why are we fighting because of them! Hum dono milke unn dono ko milana hoga, we should make a promise to ourselves that we will not fight" Dhruv said. "I'm not making any promises, I will fight with you, its my right of course" Alya said flipping her hair. "OK at least until Manik and Nandini are united" he asked and she agreed.

Mukti and Abhimanyu were welcomed in the reception. "It's the new day here with our new Dean Dr. Mukti" Raman congratulated her. "Sorry sir" she said. Everyone looked confused. "I don't think I deserve it. I couldn't handle my life and career and I feel like a fool to get influenced by Dr. Aditya" Mukti spoke. "What would happen if you back out now" Raman worried. "Dad, please don't worry, Lifeline is going to be in safe hands, main aur Abhimanyu milke ek decision liya hai" she looked at Abhimanyu and he nodded and handed over a letter to him.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I hereby announce our new Dean for Lifeline Hospital and Lifeline Charitable Trust, Dr. Manik Malhotra" Mukti announced in the official meeting.
