"Manik, you should go soon" Nandini said. "Yeah! Abhimanyu is not here too" Manik said. "Come we will go" Manik caught her hand. "Don't wait for me, I will come slowly" she asked him to go. "No, I won't leave you here alone, come with me" Manik said and helped her walk. He left her near the common room and rushed towards Alya. "Mukti kaha hai?" he asked Alya. "Dr. Sushma, Dr. Ishitha and Navya are there inside" Alya said. "Wo Aditya ne hi Mukti ma'am ko dhakka diya, you should not have left him that day" Alya said. "I won't spare him now" he said. "Kaha hai wo Aditya?" he asked. "He is not seen after that incident" Alya said. "I know where he is" Manik said and left from there.

"Ishitha, Mukti kaisi hai? Can I see her! Is she alright?" Raman asked Ishitha. "Tum kuch bol kyu nahi rahi ho? I'm worried about her, maine Abhimanyu ko call kiya, he started from there already and he will be here any moment" Raman said. Ishitha couldn't tell Raman what happened. Dr. Sushma was asked to talk to Raman. "Dr. Shrivastav, I immensely feel disheartened to tell you that your daughter suffered a miscarriage" she said. Raman felt a sharp pain in his chest and collapsed on the chair. "Raman, please control yourself" Ishitha said and she looked at Dr. Sushma. Raman was quick to recover but what he heard next was enough to shake the ground beneath. "Dr. Raman, one more thing" Dr. Sushma continued and Ishitha looked at her helplessly. "Dr. Mukti is bleeding heavily, her uterus needs to be removed, we need Dr. Abhimanyu's sign on the consent form" she said. Raman shed tears and didn't know what to do. Abhimanyu came there to hear the bad news. He came near Raman. "Uncle" Abhimanyu said. Raman held his hands and cried. "I couldn't save your child Abhimanyu, I have failed as a father and I made you a failure too" Abhimanyu dreams were all had become lies.

Abhimanyu had to sign on the consent form to save his love. Mukti can never become a mother in her life again. Abhimanyu is enraged when he knew that Aditya was behind this. Manik dragged Aditya into the reception. "Why did you do this to Mukti?" Manik asked him straight forward. "I didn't do this" Aditya dismissed Manik's question. "Don't test my patience, I know you did it" Manik asked again and Aditya didn't pay heed to him. Aditya's face got a strong blow from Manik. "Tumne kiya, Alya saw you, I have left you last time and that doesn't mean you will be saved now" Manik warned him. Abhimanyu held his collar."What did we do to you! Why did you kill my baby?" Abhimanyu asked Aditya. "You accept or deny, Ab police yaha aayega and you'll be behind bars in no time" Manik said and called the cops inside. "Expiry date medicines ke sale ke case mein aapko arrest karna hai" police said. Aditya is shocked as he was framed in some case in which he wasn't involved. Manik came near him and whispered. "I know you're smart enough to hide whatever you do. Humesha jo bhi karega tho CCTV cameras ko dekhke karte ho, I should admit that I have failed to update the no.of cameras because you know the blind spots, I will get them updated. I know I can't throw you out so I'm throwing you behind the bars" Manik chuckled. Aditya is irritated as he didn't expect that Manik will go this far to get him arrested.

Abhimanyu's dreams were shattered. "Abhi, I'm so sorry that I couldn't keep up my promise, I couldn't save your baby" Manik felt guilty as he couldn't keep his promise. "It was all your mistake Manik, you should have got him arrested when you have exposed him, see what happened now! My baby has paid for your negligence. Ab main kya karu usse wapas laane ke liye? Mukti will never be able to have a baby again, how will I say this to her?" Abhimanyu shouted on Manik. Manik was helpless and felt wasted. Abhimanyu left from there to be with Mukti.

Manik was silent and went to his cabin. "What do I do now! Kya galti kiya maine jo ye sab dekhna pad raha hai mujhe!" Manik was devastated and tears rolled down. He saw Nandini coming to his cabin and wiped his tears. "Tum yaha!" Manik asked her. "Mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai Manik, I should have told you this before but I had no time to talk about Aditya" she said. Manik became attentive as he heard Aditya's name. He prayed that Aditya should never harm Nandini. "Aditya ke baare mein kya! Usne kuch kiya tumhare sath? Bolo Nandini" he asked anxiously. "Manik relax, he didn't do anything to me, but he always knew about us, I mean he knows about we being together and our breakup. He always said that you, Abhimanyu and him, you're all good friends, I've myself seen Mukti many times with him. He asked me many times if you are calling me, if we are in touch" Manik has expected that Aditya would do something like this.

"What did you say him?" Manik asked. "I've told him whatever happened between us" she said. Manik didn't talk. "You've not even told your friends then why him?" Manik asked her. "I thought you told him, so I had to say when he asked me" Nandini said. "Get this straight Nandini, I respect your beliefs, though I didn't like hiding about ourselves, I didn't tell anyone about us, not even Abhimanyu and Alya. They both doesn't know what happened between us" Manik said and Nandini looked confused. "Issi baat ka dar hai Manik, after seeing Mukti ma'am, now I'm scared of him. That day when Navya said about him, you should have got him arrested. I'm scared what will he do to me to take revenge on you" Nandini said scared.

Manik hugged her. "Nandini, please don't worry about that idiot. He can't come out, he can't do anything" Manik said. "No, even after you warned him, he didn't listen. Look what he did today, agar mere saath bhi aisa hi hua tho, agar humara baby bhi..." Nandini was in tears and Manik stopped her. "Nandini, stop worrying unnecessarily, jab tak main tumhare saath hu tab tak tumhe aur humare baby ko koi kuch nahi karega, I promise I won't let anyone near you or our baby, trust me please" Manik assured her but she was scared. "I love you❤ Nandini and I love our baby too" he was successful finally to calm her down. He hugged her and she hugged him back. They didn't know how time flew. "Main ek baat puchu?" she asked.

"Kya?" Manik asked breaking the hug. "When we have a baby! Who will you love more! Me or the baby?" she was eagerly waiting for the answer. "Obviously baby" he answered without a second thought. "What!" she asked feeling jealous of their unborn baby. "I said obviously my baby, you're my baby first" he said as romantically as he can. "Aww, why do you think I'm your baby?" she asked leaning on him. "Because you always keep complaining like one" he said and she stood straight. "Now go back to work, you've just joined back so you can just work at the clinic" Manik ordered her. She wanted to say something but he interrupted her. "One more thing, I will send your diet chart with Navya, so don't eat whatever you like here, don't try to hang out with your friends, I don't anyone of you gossiping or chilling with each other, you may go now" Manik said and she left from there. "Manik mujhe kabhi samaj nahi aayega, aaj hi shaadi hua, main aaj hi join kiya and he is already asking me to work! I thought I can see him if I come to hospital, I should have taken rest at home" Nandini talked to herself.

Manik went to see Mukti. She woke up after the surgery. "Baby theek hai na dad! Abhimanyu kab aaya! Tum log kuch bol kyu nahi rahe ho?" Mukti asked trying to get up. "Mukti you should rest don't get up" Abhimanyu said and Ishitha made her lie down. "Why is it so painful mom! What happened to me? Is my baby fine?" she asked. Mukti was eagerly waiting for their answer but they all remained silent. "It's so sad to inform you Mukti, you had a miscarriage" Manik told her. Abhimanyu, Raman and Ishitha looked at Manik. "Not just that, you had a uterine rupture jiski wajah se tumhara uterus remove kiya gaya hai" Manik said. Mukti's sadness knew no boundaries and she broke into tears. "No aisa nahi ho sakta" she shouted and threw things around her. Abhimanyu was about to go near her but Manik stopped him. "Don't go, let her cry her heart out! Tabhi usko chain milega" Manik said to Abhimanyu. Ishitha and Raman were in tears seeing Mukti. "Main kabhi Maa nahi ban sakti! Kyu hua ye mere saath!" Mukti asked Ishitha who hugged her. "I'm sorry to tell her all this sir, but I know you won't be able to tell her anything" Manik said to Raman. Raman silently thanked Manik. Manik hugged Abhimanyu seeing him cry. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry that I couldn't do anything, mujhe maaf karo" Manik pleaded Abhi. Abhimanyu hugged back Manik. "This was all my fault Manik, that bastard finally achieved what he wanted" Abhimanyu said crying. Manik consoled him.

Manik came to common room where all the Juniors were there. "Jab tak Mukti wapas nahi aati, tab tak I will assign your daily duties, Navya, please collect the schedule for every week from my cabin. And I shouldn't see anyone hanging around, be serious guys, you are almost at the end of your internship" Manik warned them. "One more thing, here Navya take it" he handed over a paper to her. She looked at him clueless. "That's Dr. Nandini's diet chart to be followed at the hospital just because she joined too early after the accident, I hope you all make sure that it is followed" he said. "Yes sir, of course hum Nandini ko humare haatho se khilayenge! Oh mostly liquids hai na hum pilayenge, please aap chinta nahi kijiye hum aapke girlfriend ka khyal ache se rakhenge" Cabir said taking the diet chart from Navya.

Manik glared at Cabir. "Sir aise ghoorne se sach badal nahi jaata, tum dono ne bahut ache se hum sabse ye baat chupaya na!" Cabir looked at Manik and Nandini. "Ok guys will see you later" Manik excused himself as he can't take any sarcasm from Cabir again. "Woh tho chala gaya par tum kaha jaogi!" Cabir said to Nandini. "Go to hell main uski diet follow nahi karungi, ask him to do whatever he like" Nandini said. "Arre itna pyaar se jo banaya kha ke tho dekho" Aryaman said. "No Nandini you don't need to eat cause you should drink, that's what is there in the chart" it was Alya's turn then. "Chor kahi ke, dono ne humse chupaya!" Navya said. "So what now!" Nandini asked. "Kuch nahi agar tum ye follow nahi kiya tho hum jiju ko jaake batayenge aur wo khud aake uske haathon se pilayenge meri pyari behna" Cabir said dramatically. Nandini escapee from there to escape from their comments. "I hope they will soon be together again" Alya wished. "Tumhare wish jaldi se pura ho jayega I guess" Aryaman said.

Manik knocked the door thrice and chachi opened the door. "Tum phir se aa gaye?" she asked irritated. "Nandini ghar par nahi hai" she said. "Chachi Nandini se milna hai tho hospital pe bhi mil sakta hu na, I came for you" he said and gave flowers to her. "Mere liye!" she asked confused.

"Yes, thank you chachi, aapne kabhi Nandini ko uski Maa ki yaad tak nahi aane diya, but why are you not ready to accept her love for me?" Manik asked her.
