Abhimanyu and Mukti reacted at the moment and took Raman to emergency ward. Everyone became alert on knowing about Raman. Aditya went inside emergency and asked Mukti and Abhimanyu to come out. Raman laid down unconscious on the hospital bed. "What is it? Jaldi batao" Abhimanyu asked in haste. "Rules! I'm here to talk about rules. Tum Raman sir ke son-in-law ho so you can't go inside" he said. "But no other cardiologist is available now" Abhimanyu said. "But I don't care rules are same for anyone" Aditya played his dirty game again. "Dr. Aditya, when the patient is critical rules can be broken" Manik interfered.

"Rather than arguing, you should try to contact Dr. Sushma at the earliest" Aditya suggested. "I'll call her" Mukti announced. "Shit! She is out of station" she said dryly. Abhimanyu tried to go inside. "You can't go inside Abhimanyu, after the Dean I have full powers here and I won't let you go inside" Aditya threatened him. "You and your rules go to hell. I don't care if I lose my job" Abhimanyu didn't listen to him. "You can't go inside and I won't let you go" he was adamant. Abhimanyu tried to fight him off but Manik interrupted him. "Navya jayegi" Manik announced. "Navya is a junior doctor and usse main guide karunga" Manik said. "Navya, fast, go inside keep monitoring his blood pressure, get the ECG done" Manik ordered and Navya responded quick.

"Manik, you aren't a cardiologist and I can't risk my Dean's life, we will wait until we have a cardiologist" Aditya said to Manik. "Cabir, get the hospital manual for Dr. Aditya Verma, usme clearly likha hai ki jo specialist emergency ke time available hai wo patient ko treat kar sakta hai, and yaha Navya cardiologist hai. I know you'll raise a point that she is a junior doctor so I will guide her" Manik said. "But Manik this is not done" Aditya stammered. "Kya hua plan backfire ho gaya! I know you so well tum humara kuch nahi bigaad sakta" Manik warned him. "I'll see you soon Manik" he left from there.

"Ishitha ma'am ko bhi inform kar dena please" Manik asked Mukti. She nodded. "Dekha kya hua! Kaise scene create kiya usne! Ye sab tumhare wajhe se ho raha hai Mukti" Abhimanyu said to Mukti. She broke into tears and sat aside. "Abhimanyu isme Mukti ki galti kya hai! She'll feel bad" Manik said. "You know nothing Manik. Mukti is totally into Aditya's spell. Divya ke baare mein, mere Shaadi ke baare mein sab bataya unhone and she isn't ready to believe me" Abhimanyu told everything happened to Manik. Manik walked towards Mukti. "I don't know what Aditya told you but I promise I will get all those things which proves Abhimanyu is innocent" Mukti looked at him. "Take care of her and I'll be back" Manik returned and saw Nandini there. They looked at each other. "Kya laoge Mukti ko convince karne ke liye!" Abhimanyu asked. "I'm going to college and I will get every clue to prove your innocence and Aditya's game is over" Manik said. Nandini looked on and said to Abhimanyu, "Sir, Nyonika aunty is normal now" she informed. "Good, keep monitoring her at regular intervals, Nandini tum check kar rahi ho?" he asked. "Yes sir, Navya is occupied so I'm doing it" she said. "Aunty unconscious hai na?" Abhimanyu confirmed and she nodded as yes and went from there. "Agar hosh mein hota tho Nandini ko aane nahi deti" Abhimanyu sighed looking at Manik. "Aunty is behaving weird these days she is complaining on Nandini that she always give painful injections, and guess what Alya is always there with us when aunty needed" Abhi said. Manik nodded and left.

"Mom, Alya se baat kar rahi hai but Nandini se nahi! Ye kaisa hua? I never thought this would happen. Nandini must be feeling bad for mom" Manik thought. "Uske paas mom ke liye feel karne ka time hi nahi hai" Manik said to himself.

Alya comes to meet Manik. "Manik! Where did you disappear all these days! Kaise ho tum? When did you thought of coming back?" she asked continuously not letting him talk. "Alya now I don't have time to talk to you" he said. "How rude! Itne din baad tum aaye ho and all you have to say is you have no time" Alya said. "Alya, please" Manik said. "Acha OK, I want to tell you something important" she said. "I'll listen to it when I come back but right now I really don't have time" he said and left.

"Cabir? Hum kya karein ab?" Navya asked. "Sach bol denge" he said simply. "I cannot lie anymore to him, I feel like I'm cheating now" Cabir said. Navya kept mum. "Don't worry I won't tell him that you already know it, tum bhi mat batana" he said. Nandini came there and Cabir left without saying a word.

"Kuch bataya tumne?" Nandini asked her. "No" Navya said. "Why didn't you tell him? Agar der kar diya tho things won't be under your control" Nandini said. "Papa ne mere shaadi tay kar liya, Shekawat ke saath" Navya told. "That's great Navya, your dad has approved your wedding with Cabir" Nandini said excited. "It's not Cabir, it's Shekawat and there's a difference Nandini" she told. "Ha yeh bhi tho point hai" Nandini sighed. "Navya jo bhi ho jaye tum dar mat jao, tell your dad that you like Cabir and tell Cabir that you love him. I hope they both will understand you" Nandini cheered her up. "Let's see, ab hume jaana chahiye, warna wo Aditya! My God!" Navya said. "Ha, how cruel was he when he didn't let Dr. Abhimanyu inside" Nandini said. "Manik sir aaya and usne chup chap chale gaya" Navya said praising him. "Yeah he will scare everyone and sweep them away" Nandini said. "Ye comment tha ya complement" Navya asked in doubt and Nandini didn't find it worthy to answer.

"We never thought that he is such a rouge, you divorce him and come home back" Navya heard them talking when she went into a ward. "Excuse me patient ko rest ki zarurat hai" Navya said to them. "Hum yaha nahi rehne wale hai doctor, let him rot in the hell" patient's wife said. "Please mujhe chod ke mat jaana" he pleaded his wife. "I want to talk to you personally, could you please come aside" Navya asked his wife. "Why are you calling me to a side?" she asked and Aditya happened to pass by them.

"What's happening here?" Aditya asked Navya. Navya turned her face aside. "Dr. Navya tried patient ke saath kya ho raha hai, what nuisance is going on here" he asked firmly. "He is Mr. Gaurav and he is diagnosed positive for HIV" Navya said. "What? AIDS! Bullshit! Aise logon ko rakhne ke liye separate jagah hai this is not the place" Aditya said strictly. "Har HIV positive ko aisa dekhna bandh kijiye, HIV sirf sexual contact se hi nahi blood transfusion, serum and plasma donation se bhi ho sakta hai, main yahi bolna chahtha tha aapko bhi" Navya said to Gaurav's wife. "Aap kyu nahi samaj rahe hai doctor, we don't want our daughter to be with this worthless man" Gaurav's father-in-law said. "Enough of this drama, main yaha aise logon ko admit nahi karta just get out of here" Aditya said.

"Kya ye hospital aapka hai, jo aap permit nahi karte" Navya asked enraged, fed up with Aditya. "Dean tho death bed pe hai, and management is already in talks for a new Dean, off the record, I have my inside information that I will be the new Dean so for now being the Asst. Dean, I order them to get rid of here. For that matter, I can do anything I wanted here" Aditya boasted. Aryaman, Cabir, Alya and Nandini were also there. "But aap apne mann maani nahi kar sakte hai even Dean has to go with the majority of decisions" Aryaman said. "But I don't care how your Dean was!" Aditya said carelessly. "Ye kahi nahi jayega and we are going to treat him here" Navya said firmly. "Dekhta hu, how will you go against me to treat him. I promise I will get rid of this nasty thing by tomorrow and all of you be ready to hear the good news about the new Dean too" Aditya left saying this.

"Ye humara naya Dean hai, my foot" Alya said. "Par hum kar bhi kya sakte hai" Aryaman sighed. "Why don't we go and ask Mukti ma'am to take back her resignation maybe that way koi tho hoga iss hospital mein responsible" Nandini suggested. "Par isse kya hoga Nandini, management will not take her back and Aditya tho Dean ho hi jayega" said Alya. "Par hum at least try tho kar sakte hai na" Nandini said. "OK we'll try once" Cabir agreed to go to Mukti.

Mukti and Ishitha waited outside. Abhimanyu came out. "He's stable now, it's a mild attack, stress nahi lena hai iss waqt unko" he announced. Mukti and Ishitha were relieved for a bit. "Kathra ab bhi hai, management is in talks for new Dean, they have approached me for my decision and I had to give up owing to Raman's health" Ishitha said to them and saw the junior doctors coming near them. "Yes ma'am hum bhi wahi baat karne aaye hai" Cabir said.

"Dr. Aditya, he is talking rubbish about the new Dean" Alya said. "Yes that's true, management have already taken the decision" Ishitha said. "If he gets to become the new Dean, we're all dead, he is behaving like a dictator, uski jo marzi wo kar raha hai. He tried to oust a patient today just because he don't like him" Navya said. "But what can we do?" Mukti asked. "Aap apne resignation wapas lijiye ma'am" Nandini said. Mukti is shocked and didn't expect this. Ishitha and Abhimanyu looked at each other. "Please ma'am aur koi raasta bhi nahi hai, we will support you and see that you will become new Dean please aap maan jayiye" Aryaman said. "I can't do that, they won't let me stay back and this is my last day. Moreover, why will they change their decision?" Mukti said and dismissed them. They left from disappointed.

"Mukti just think once again they're right" Abhimanyu said. Mukti looked at him. "Let's keep our private life aside for a few minutes, think like a doctor, think like an employee here. You just saw how stubborn and arrogant he was! That bastard shouldn't be the new Dean. Uss Aditya ka game khatam hone wala hai and now you should make a decision" Abhimanyu suggested. "Abhimanyu is right, I know you'll have a good career in other hospital but think about Lifeline Mukti. Raman has built this trust on this hospital and being his daughter you should carry forward his lineage. It's a request Mukti please. Raman bhi yahi bolega, he'll be more than happy to know that you're back" Ishitha said.

"OK I'll take it back" Mukti agreed and mailed to management about withdrawal of her resignation. She waited for their reply. "Thank you Mukti" Abhimanyu said. "Manik zarur koi proof leke aayega" Abhimanyu said. Raman gets into consciousness and they go inside. "How are you Raman?" Ishitha asked. "I'm fine, don't worry" he assured. "Kitne baar bola maine to take care of yourself but you never listen to me" Ishitha faked anger on him. "Aankhon ke saamne beti ki shaadi toot raha hai aur wo dekhke aisa react karna normal baat hai" Raman said looking at Mukti. Abhimanyu and Mukti explain him about current situation about the decision of management about the new Dean. "So mujhe retire hone ka time aa gaya" Raman sighed.

"Mukti withdrew her resignation Raman, she's back" Raman felt happy when Ishitha said. "I'm going to propose her name for the next Dean, I won't let Dr. Aditya Verma to spoil the hospital's reputation" Raman said determined. Mukti feels dizzy and suddenly falls into a chair. Abhimanyu caught her and she gets restless. Ishitha comes to Mukti. "What happened to Mukti" Raman and Abhimanyu asked worried.

"Mukti is pregnant" Ishitha declared.
