Nandini felt embarrassed and Manik knew how she felt. She freed herself from his grip. He wanted to talk to her but he received a phone call. "Hello" Nandini looked at him. "Main abhi aa raha hu" he said as he left her there. "Abhi, kya hua tu itna urgently phone kiya?" Manik asked Abhimanyu. "Manik, aaj jo kuch bhi hua, mujhe kuch nahi pata tha, but I feel not comfortable here" he said.

Cabir gets drunk in the party. "Cabir, stop it yaar" Aryaman tried to stop him. "Dude chill this is a party" Cabir said as he began to dance. "Aryaman tum Cabir ko uske room pe drop karo, I'll take a cab" Nandini said seeing Cabir's condition. "Are you sure?" Aryaman asked her. "Yeah" she said and helps Aryaman to take Cabir to his car. She booked a cab and waited in garden.

"Abhi, please aaj mere saath ghar chalo jo bhi hoga hum kal baat karenge" Manik said to him. "Yeah" Abhimanyu agreed to go with Manik. "Abhimanyu kahi nahi jayega" Ishitha came there. "Abhi jo kuch bhi Raman ne kiya bahut galat kiya but please tum aise achanak ghar chod ke nahi chale jaana, please hume bura lagega, Manik please tum hi kuch bolo" Ishitha requested Manik.

"If he is OK he will stay here ma'am" Manik said and Abhimanyu couldn't deny. Manik is about to leave when he see the cab driver searching for someone. "Sir yaha se kisika pick up tha, is that you?" he asked Manik. "No, aap unhe phone karke pooch lijiye" Manik said. "Yes sir I tried but phone is unreachable" he said. "There was a party here, I don't know kisne ye cab book kar liya tha" Manik said to him.

They couldn't see Nandini as she was away from their sight. "Lagta hai yaha koi nahi hai, koi baat nahi sir main ride cancel karlunga" he said and left from there. Manik ignited the engine and it came to roar. She heard the car's horn and came out. Manik saw Nandini and gets down. "Tum yaha kya kar rahi thi Nandini" he asked. She didn't reply. "Kisika wait kar rahi ho" he asked her again. "I can drop you if you" he hesitated.

"Nahi, no thanks maine already cab book kar diya, bas phone ki signal nahi hai" she said. "Tho wo cab tumhare liye tha?" he exclaimed. "Wo aa gaya kya?" Nandini searched for the cab. "Yes, he did come but he couldn't reach you and he went off as he found no one here. Usne ride bhi cancel kiya hoga" Manik said and Nandini is pissed again.

"What?" she almost shouted at him but controlled herself. "Mujhe kaise pata hoga that you'll be here, I thought tum Aryaman ke saath chali gayi hogi" he said. "Aao main tumhe ghar drop karunga" he said to her. "No thanks, main aur ek cab book karungi" she said stubbornly. "Nandini it's not safe to go by cab at this late hour, you should have gone home by now, when Alya left. Ab behas mat karo chalo" he said.

"Kya main aapke saath safe hu?" she asked him. "What do you mean?" he asked offended. "Ye sab baatein karne ki time nahi hai, even if you take a cab, you will have a driver there, so think me as one but please come with me" he asked her. She thought for few moments and silently moved towards his car. He sighed in relief and went near the car.

"Tum peeche baithogi?" he asked when she opened the back seat door. "Ha you said the same now" she said. "I asked you to think of me as a driver but that doesn't me log bhi mujhe aise hi dekhe, come sit in the front" he said or rather ordered. "Monster" she whispered. "Kuch kaha tumne?" he asked her as he wore seat belt. "Nahi" she said. "Good, wear your seatbelt now" he said as he started. None of them talked throughout the ride. She rolled down the window and felt cool breeze.

"Lagta hai baarish hone wala hai" he said but she is so immersed that she didn't reply.

This song had reminded Manik when Nandini came to drop him off when he was injured. She looked at him as he smiled listening the song. He reached her home. She got down and thanked him. He quickly got down the car. "Nandini" he called her. She turned back to see him. "Sorry for that day, I was really mean" Manik said as he genuinely felt guilty.

"Don't be sorry sir, you don't have to" she said. "That means tum mujhse gussa nahi ho?" he asked quite surprised. "Gussa! kis baat ki! Who are we? Are we friends? No. Anger, happiness ye sab feelings tho hume kisi friend ya kisika apno pe hi express kar sakte hai but we are not. We don't have such a relation so gussa kis baat ki" she said broken.

"Nandini" he said. "Please let me complete. Main kya lagti hu aapko? Your junior doctor? Toh aap kabhi kabhi mujhe help kyu karte hai! Just treat me like you treat other doctors. Ya main aapke friend hu? Toh kyu mujhe baar baar hurt karte hai? And that kiss! What does that mean to you? Jab Mann karta hai tho aap kiss karenge, care karenge jab nahi kiya tho utha ke apni life se fek dete hai! Is this what you're doing with me?" she asked and Manik had no answer.

"Aap kuch bol kyu nahi rahe?" she came near him and held his jacket. She asked him as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Why are you doing this to me? I feel so cheated. Sometimes I think you were not the Manik who helped me, cared about me and sometimes you are just a stranger with a familiar face that's it" she said. Manik stood there without moving an inch. "Aage se aisa nahi hoga Nandini, I promise, I won't disturb you ever" he said as he took off her hands from his jacket. Nandini felt it hard to let him go. Manik turned to leave without looking back at her. She stood there and watched as he left.

"Nandu" her chachi called. She came near her, "Ye Manik hai na? Tum aur Manik!" she asked but Nandini wasn't in a condition to talk. She cried. "Calm down Nandini, let's go inside" she said. She asked her to get freshened up.

Aryaman dropped Cabir at his place and made him sleep. He left when he confirmed Cabir is fast asleep. Navya's phone rang in middle of the night. Her screen flashed Cabir's name. "Cabir? Iss waqt?" she is surprised but took the call. "Cabir?" she said in a low voice. "Navya baahar aao" he said. "Kya! Abhi?" she asked but he asked her to come out. Navya said that she can't come out as everyone is fast asleep. But he didn't listen to her.

She came out after 10 minutes. "Cabir, what are you doing here? Are you drunk?" she asked him irritated. "Yes of course I'm and you are the reason for it" he said. "What did I do?" she asked him and held him as he was about to fall. "No no need to help me" he said. He looked at her and pulled her closer. "Leave me! What are you doing?" she struggled to get free. He didn't let her move as he put his lips on hers.

Navya isn't beyond shocked and tried to push him away but he held her stronger. He broke the kiss after few seconds. Navya suddenly slapped him and he laughed harder. He fell down laughing. Navya felt disgusted at his behavior. "Why did you slap me?" he asked her. "Is it because I kissed you?" Navya felt embarrassed. "Maine bhi yahi kiya tha na jab tumne mujhe uss din kiss kiya tho! Tho meri kya galti hai? Why everyone is blaming me?" Cabir asked. Navya now understood why Cabir was angry on her.

She hated herself when she realized that she kissed him. "Ab mera kaam ho gaya tho mujhe yaha se chale jaana hai" Cabir said. "Cabir, it's not safe to drive, you're drunk" Navya tried to stop him. "Yes I'm drunk but I do have my self control and I don't forget who I'm and what I'm. Doing when I'm drunk" he said and left from there. She went to her room and felt sad and embarrassed.

Mukti decided to talk to Abhimanyu and clear out the misunderstandings. "Mom, aap ne Abhimanyu ko kahi dekha?" Mukti asked Ishitha. "No Mukti, kya wo apne room mein nahi hai?" Ishitha asked her. "No mom, he is not in his room, I've checked in washroom too" Mukti said. "Wait, let me just call him" Raman said listening to Mukti. "God, his phone is not reachable" Raman said disappointed. "Subah subha, bina bataye kaha chale gaye?" Ishitha wondered. "Mom, how could you ask this after all that happened last night?" Mukti asked her. "Ha, I know but wo aisa nahi kar sakta" Ishitha said. "Mom dad, please aap usse force mat karna kisi bhi cheez ke liye, please" Mukti said to both of them.

"Good morning Mukti di" Ruhi said. "Good morning Ruhi" Mukti said in haste. "Aap log kyu itne serious ho? Abhimanyu bhaiyya ne bhi aise hi gusse mein tha" Ruhi said. "Ruhi, did you see him today?" Mukti asked her. "Ha, he just left for work now, he said wo hospital jaa raha tha" Ruhi said and Mukti took a breathe of fresh air. "Dad, main bhi aaj jaldi hospital jaungi, I will meet and talk to him there" Mukti left from there to get ready. "Tum sahi thi Ishitha, I should have asked both of them before making a decision" Raman regretted. "Raman, now don't take the blame, jo hoga acha hi hoga" Ishitha said.

Sanju came to hospital and tells Rajesh that she wanted to meet Aryaman. "Sanju, you're befriending that cheapo Aryaman? Who is he? Uski aukat nahi hai tumse friendship bhi Karne ka" Rakesh taunted Aryaman but she pleads him. Sanju closed Aryaman's eyes from back side. "Who is this?" Aryaman asked and he touched her hands which covered his eyes. "Sanju" she opened his eyes when she heard her name.

"Kaise guess kiya?" she asked him. "Aisi harkatein sirf tum hi karte ho mere saath" he smiled seeing her. "How come you are here? All okay?" Aryaman asked. "Of course Aryaman, hum kal Germany jaa raha hai, for treatment so just came here to collect few reports" she said to him. "Sanju, we're running late" Rakesh reminded her.

"Yeah, hume shopping bhi karna hai, I'll see you soon Aryaman, if I'm alive after that" Sanju said and he asked her to keep faith in God. Sanjana leaves from there. Cabir saw Sanjana and Rakesh and goes to meet Aryaman. "Sanju ayi thi kya?" he asked. "Yeah wo log kal Germany jaa rahe hai" Aryaman said. "Toh tu ne usse kuch nahi bataya?" Cabir asked surprised. "I don't have enough proof to say anything" Aryaman said helplessly. "Jo karna hai jaldi karo" Cabir said.

"Nandini and Navya, you will assist Dr. Manik, Cabir will look after the clinic, Aryaman, our case is still on" Mukti said and Manik came there. "Dr. Mukti, I think ye case ke liye sirf Navya kaafi hoga, you can ask Nandini to work on some other case" Manik said to Mukti. "Abhi koi nayi cases nahi hai, Nandini you work with Cabir in the clinic" Mukti said and excused herself. Manik also left from there. Cabir followed him.

"Sir, Nandini ko apne kyu mana kiya?" Cabir asked him. "What do you need Cabir? You said that you don't like me near her and now you're asking me why I'm I doing this?" Manik left Cabir think for a minute and left from there. Manik met Abhimanyu who called him. "Abhi, did I come late?" Manik asked. "Ye sab kaise hua? Mukti and you! Marriage and all?" Manik asked. "I shouldn't have accepted to that bet on Mukti" Abhimanyu regretted.

"Bet on me" Mukti said as she heard Manik and Abhimanyu talking.
